  • Okay, so we're back at Basia because we wanted to show you the other side of this store because we spent so long at the grocery section.

  • Last time they didn't even have time to do the other side.

  • So we're gonna give you a quick tour of the other side of Asia.

  • So there's the Yakitori place here in South Asia.

  • I had to come back to uh the supermarket because I love the story here and it's a really good price right now because they call it time service, it's like at a certain time during the day, they bring down the price.

  • So I came at a good time and I'm gonna buy probably like five or six different kinds.

  • These are really good if you're looking for your story, this place is awesome.

  • Yeah, I usually like the ones that have green scallion on it, but they also have like chicken skin.

  • If you want to be a little bit adventurous.

  • It's actually pretty good.

  • They also have a tongue back their tongue and they have some with asparagus.

  • Uh that one has garlic and this is actually soft bones.

  • So if you want to be adventurous, that's also pretty interesting.

  • I actually like that, but I really don't get that much anymore.

  • So yes, I'm gonna go ahead and order so while candy is getting derogatory, just wanted to show this other side.

  • Uh So the left is groceries and to the right is home goods and makeup medicine and clothing.

  • So this is the medicine section.

  • This is like for muscle aches.

  • This section is for cold, of course, there's a mask section.

  • So again, you can find many different types of mass.

  • Like they have stylish B style.

  • They also have like the ones that are great for your ears doesn't hurt.

  • Super soft.

  • Super soft, premium, nice package.

  • So this section is like diapers.

  • Yeah, diapers, toilet bathroom, wow.

  • A lot of tissue products here.

  • They have like these cute little tissues though.

  • I love these little tissues and they're so cute.

  • I have.

  • I thought you were gonna say, oh my gosh, I have bleached or not bleached, but I would get it if it was bleach.

  • And this is paul Patrol paw Patrol is actually super popular in Japan too.

  • I learned I'm trying to find the section where they sell some home goods, like, um actually we're kitchen goods and here it is.

  • It's in this, they call it the kitchen area.

  • So I don't know if they're gonna have it the last time I came here, they have this butter case that has a butter knife already in it.

  • It's so convenient if you're the type of person that buys butter out of the plastic tub and you just buy like the butter that's in foil.

  • Um I have not seen anything like it in the States.

  • I've only seen it here in Japan, but it's kind of hard to find here as well.

  • So I wouldn't be surprised if I couldn't find it today, I don't see it.

  • They got hot pots, pans, a lot of tough on what you call teflon, teflon, teflon ziploc.

  • These are the hot pot, hot pot.

  • These are great.

  • Like every japanese home, I feel like has these like bento box stuff here.

  • Yeah, which is not what I'm looking for.

  • Look at this cute little lunchbox.

  • Oh my gosh, that's so cute.

  • Snoopy one, kind of like the color of these ones.

  • Very simple.

  • Like those pretty expensive.

  • This is more bento box items, bento box stuff.

  • So you know how we saw this at the 100 yen store?

  • It's a little bit more expensive here.

  • So definitely.

  • But no, these are like 400.

  • I feel like I had a lot more cute ones too.

  • They did definitely saved money there.

  • This is a very popular character in Japan like the kids love.

  • So of course they price that at like $5.

  • They must not have it.

  • So I would assume it'd be around here.

  • Right, well they don't have it.

  • Oh wells, this is the pet section.

  • Maybe you might find some cute unique.

  • This is what I have.

  • Oh yeah, we have that.

  • We got this on amazon.

  • What is this one?

  • This one looks cute.

  • What is this, does the food come out there.

  • So you don't get bitten.

  • So you feed it that way.

  • What those are the scooper to that.

  • You just clip onto the bag.

  • Oh yeah, some interesting items here for pets.

  • So this section is all clothing for men's and women and they also have a shoe store sporting goods and this looks like it's a toy store.

  • Oh in a game section two.

  • I know they had a game section here.

  • This looks so fun for a little girl.

  • These boxes look faded though.

  • I know.

  • I feel like people don't really shop here.

  • Yeah, I didn't even know they had a toy section like this here definitely looks faded.

  • Look at how faded this looks like, how many years has this been here?

  • Lots of bags.

  • It really is like a walmart here, but fewer people.

  • Oh yeah and cuter stuff stuff.

  • But they have cute socks.

  • Look at these cute socks.

  • Oh that is cute.

  • I don't know what this is but it's cute that little baby masks.

  • This is like the bedding section but there's like a whole row of these things.

  • Um it's like fleece type of material.

  • Um it's kind of thick and they just put it on top of the bed for extra comfort.

  • Kind of like, you know this is love.

  • I guess there's five levels and this is a level three.

  • So it gives you extra warmth for the winter because in Japan they don't really run the heater like they don't have central heating all the time.

  • So they put like put the heater on all the time, especially when you're sleeping.

  • So what they do is turn off all the heaters and then they warm up with warm bedding.

  • Um That's typically how most japanese homes are here.

  • Especially like the older homes, like our parents.

  • This would be especially useful to warm up since we don't have central heating and it's dangerous to leave the stove on.

  • So it's very cold nights when you have to get up and use the bathroom.

  • Yeah, it sucks, it sucks in the winter here in the winter at least at our parents home.

  • But a lot of newer houses have much better insulation, so it's not as bad whereas our parents, the insulation is not the greatest either.

  • So yeah, it's very old school.

  • Yeah, so these are actually pieces which are tables with heating underneath.

  • So like especially like our parents home which is old school to help save energy.

  • If you do turn off the heater you can, everyone sits under this table and it's warm underneath.

  • So this in the summer you take off the blanket.

  • This heavy blanket.

  • And what you do is you put the heavy blanket underneath here.

  • So in the winter everyone's pistol leg inside and there is heat that comes from here.

  • It's very warm in the winter.

  • So it actually without the central heating if you have this, it actually works pretty well.

  • But we had one in our home growing up and we used it a lot.

  • I remember using it all the time.

  • So it's about $150 I guess.

  • Yeah, but then you have to buy the blanket to that goes over it.

  • Okay.

  • We just found this section and pets where they have these adorable desserts and meals all for dogs.

  • Even their food display is amazing for dogs.

  • I know it looks like humans could eat this cake.

  • This is very, um, soy and everywhere in Japan actually, yeah, they have this meatball plate, pork socks.

  • And then over here there's smoked chicken, wow with pumpkin.

  • And then this is teriyaki chicken.

  • How much are these?

  • Oh, there's only like $5 change, right?

  • Yeah.

  • It's been like 4 50 50 or something.

  • That is so cute.

  • Another section there here is dessert and fuji has actually very famous in Japan.

  • It's very iconic actually been around since we were kids.

  • Yeah, this looks so good.

  • I think I might get one.

  • Yeah.

  • Oh, wow.

  • Look at how cute and pretty they are.

  • Like it's premium that says premium shortcake.

  • Oh, wow.

  • But then the, gonna need a few.

  • That looks good to look good.

  • Can't design.

  • This looks good.

  • Mm hmm.

  • They even have backgrounds.

  • Oh, wow.

  • Okay.

  • So that was the other section of Asia that we just wanted to show you real quick again, It's huge.

  • So there's lots of things that you can find here.
