  • but every phrase related to dogs seems to have a negative meaning.

  • Joe: I haven’t noticed that.

  • Ben: You see, we often sayYou can’t teach an old dog new tricks.”

  • What’s more, one may be living “a dog’s life.”

  • Joe: That’s really bad.

  • Ben: Cats, on the other hand, get better treatment.

  • Joe: How?

  • Ben: Well, at least “A cat has nine lives.”

  • It has a better chance than “a dog’s chance.”

  • Joe: That makes sense … (Silent for a while)

  • Ben: Has the cat got your tongue?

  • Joe: No, I was just thinking.

  • What will you say when it starts torain cats and dogs?”
