  • Hey.

  • So I was thinking about that argument.

  • We had the other day.

  • Yeah, yeah.

  • And I did my own research.

  • I'm gonna stop you right there.

  • What do you mean by you?

  • Did your own research?

  • Well, I looked into the issue at hand.

  • What do you mean?

  • How cite your sources that you looked into for this?

  • This research?

  • There were it was like, like a lot more than read it in google.

  • Youtube doesn't count.

  • It's still owned by google.

  • You know what I do know what what credible sources are.

  • I mean, did you look at testimonials from experts?

  • Did you consult professionals in the field?

  • Not just one, but several because they're gonna be, you know, some disagree being within a field of study.

  • Did you look at incredible, incredible sites like new york Times and NPR or are we talking opinion, editorial pieces from medium?

  • Okay.

  • Dude, you don't have to be like condescending.

  • I really don't see how many, pointing out a potentially flawed method of researching something without using credible sources as condescending.

  • It just did what you're saying.

  • It just did.

  • Okay, look, I'm not trying to be condescending.

  • It's just that did we went to high school together, what does it, what does it have to do with like actually anything.

  • So I know what you consider to be studying and the subsequent grades you got for said stuff and didn't you find out about this entire issue and who cares that I got from facebook facebook is notorious for misinformation spreading and a lack of fact checking.

  • So okay, don't you want to know that the opinion that you currently have is based on accurate information that you are not being manipulated into forming an opinion that's going to serve the corporate elite that you are not being radicalized for someone's agenda to enact a conspiracy theory.

  • Oh my God, I actually found out that conspiracy theory is a conspiracy theory.

  • The FBI actually coined the term to have people like radically just dismiss all these other informed people like myself about things that were going on basically like the JFK.

  • Oh my God.

  • Okay, well I have no opinion on that because I have no information on it and neither do you.

  • You know what anna you think?

  • You know everything?

  • No dude, listen, okay, that's exactly my point.

  • I don't think I know anything and I think that's exactly where all of us have to start admitting that we don't know anything.

  • And then when we have a piece of information presented to us, we have to treat it like a piece of food we found in our fridge without an expiration date.

  • We have to analyze it and examine it and wonder where did this come from?

  • And when did it come from?

  • Otherwise we're really gonna regret putting it in our mouths.

  • Okay, well like what about your videos?

  • All that?

  • Like psychology advice, trying to make funny and your videos aren't funny.

  • You do research any of that.

  • Hell No, I don't.

  • That's why I'm just a parent for my therapist, she has a PhD and I have a very expensive hourly rate that I pay her that I want to write off as a business expense.

  • Well, you know what?

  • Dude, I'm entitled to have my own opinion.

  • Absolutely.

  • You are entitled to your own opinion.

  • And I know that you want to have an opinion that's formed on facts, not other people's opinions of those facts, which they may be misinterpreting.

  • Okay.

  • Yeah.

  • So do you wanna go do your own research again?

  • Yeah, I guess you're right.

  • I guess if I'm gonna have a really strong opinion about a topic, I should definitely try to find objective reports that aren't skewed to incite the pathos in me for monetization.

  • I guess that the world at large is trying to keep me on their platforms and manipulate my attention and perhaps even radicalize me, you know, with their sensationalism.

  • I guess I should examine the information that I receive and take it with a grain of salt until I can confirm it with credible sources.

  • Exactly.

  • That's all I'm saying.

  • Oh my God, dude, there's like a new joe Rogan episode about this very thing.

  • I'm gonna go like watch it, listen to it.

  • Subscribe to it and then I'm gonna get back at you.
