  • Hello everybody welcome back to Tokyo Creative play.

  • Oh you interrupt me.

  • I'm here with Mr Broad unfortunately, unfortunately, yeah, interrupting me all the time.

  • It's good to be here, I'm happy and I'm sweaty were in Tokyo, it's very hot and sweaty.

  • It's been some ridiculous temperatures.

  • But Japan has some very interesting ways of keeping you cool apparently.

  • What, like we're going to try and wow, I hate summer in Japan.

  • It's really rough.

  • It's not from the humidity is like it's really not good and I walked here and I just arrived covered in sweat, it's horrible.

  • You go outside for more than like three minutes and it just drenched in it.

  • It's like going in a swimming pool or something, but you know, there's certain ways you can combat it.

  • I take an umbrella outside to hide from the sun but there's a few things that I haven't tried that they have in the convenience stores today.

  • Hopefully we're gonna surprise you and surprise ourselves.

  • I want to find something that works and keeps me cool.

  • We got let's go, let's go.

  • First item, gel cooling eye mask, I don't know, there's a picture of a car and I was like, you wear it after you've driven, you can wear it.

  • I mean I haven't really tried or tested half the stuff we're looking at today is very boring.

  • I'm like, give me a fan, give me an air con Air con does the job to be honest.

  • It's a bit flimsy isn't it?

  • It was the eye mask I swear.

  • Oh it's really sticky.

  • Maybe we should I'm going to have like a makeup line around my eyes.

  • It smells really stick it to your face smells very mental.

  • Yeah.

  • Oh God, it's in my eye.

  • I worry I make up, it's already coming off dang.

  • It alright, it is cool.

  • It's good back.

  • It does smell quite nice because the future, I'm gonna do this when I'm driving, going forward for legal reasons, there's no better way to stay cold and dry.

  • This is actually really pleasant.

  • It is nice.

  • What is in it to make it cold?

  • It's just the mental in it.

  • I guess.

  • I thought it would burn my eyes.

  • No, it's really usually the mental has that kind of like burning, this just feels cool.

  • So this is the essence.

  • But I think I would maybe prefer like an ice pack or something because this is cool, but it's not like that cool.

  • This is good.

  • Burning essence, new fragrance from coffee doggy.

  • Oh my God, what am I about?

  • The fake that thing came off?

  • It's burning a bit now?

  • I don't feel very like cooled afterwards.

  • I just went back to being hot.

  • It's like burning a little bit of that.

  • Did you leave your eyes open and shut?

  • But it's left some residue around here and it's burning, it's not fun.

  • What would you rate this?

  • 10, would you buy it again?

  • I wouldn't give it an eight actually really gone down to about five because you shouldn't be in pain when you use a product.

  • I would use this again if I had like a fever or something and I just like, you know, I would give this like a maybe a 766 or seven.

  • So it's about 600 yen for five.

  • It's actually pretty cheap.

  • It's not bad, good value for money, but I won't be using that again.

  • This is really boring.

  • It's a fan.

  • Gosh, technology, we don't have anywhere else, but it's small.

  • Usually they're not, they're not, the fan isn't defended with this plastic, just have it out.

  • Even small.

  • Oh, a little stand handy dandy stand handy dandy stand.

  • These are pretty good.

  • You can take them around with you and everybody carries them around outside.

  • Just go like this when you're waiting in lines and walking around and it's good.

  • But sometimes I feel like when the weather is truly hot, but even that is not enough to save you.

  • I recently bought this thing good, The neon pocket three, which is like a portable air conditioning unit.

  • I was supposed to bring it today, I forgot I suck.

  • But anyway, I'll be on screen now and if you put it on your back and then it's your back, it doesn't work.

  • It costs like 200 quid.

  • Oh my God, this is like £5 and it works a lot better.

  • Just get this like it was a real high tech solution that didn't need to happen.

  • Use this fan.

  • I'll give this eight out of 10.

  • Yeah, I'll stick with that as well as anyone could be better is if I had like a light and some colors, play some music.

  • I like the ones that has a little squeezy spray bottle.

  • I like the ones that have a squeezy squeezy squeezy.

  • Yeah.

  • Yes, They spray the water through you get the water as well.

  • I like those 10.

  • Next, yeah.

  • All right.

  • Next item, I will go for this.

  • Gatsby.

  • Gatsby is pretty well known for having cooling type things and wipes it everywhere.

  • This is deodorant and it cools you down.

  • Oh, it cools you down.

  • I thought we'd just been given deodorant cause we're stinky here.

  • It's very cold.

  • Can I try it on your arm ready?

  • It feels like it's like regular killing Emma with Gatsby my throat is so cold.

  • I don't know, I feel like regular deodorant itself is maybe slightly cooling as well, but afterwards I don't really feel much of it.

  • Maybe there is a slightly cooling effect if I wave my arms around in a fun fashion.

  • There is, there is a lasting cooling effect, feels a little bit burden.

  • This is good stuff.

  • I'm sure you're not just a legend, but I still, I think in Japan, Right, but the whites of this, you wipe that and that's pretty good.

  • I think that's better than this.

  • It just feels a bit wrong having it in spray for about six out of 10 because it does actually work.

  • I'll give it a seven out of 10 because it's also a deodorant to one up me don't you know, it's a nice refreshing feeling and smell and yeah, it's deodorant.

  • No more stinky.

  • This is also about 700 yen, which is quite a lot of money.

  • So maybe I take it down to a six.

  • Yeah, that's quite pricey.

  • What the dickens is this a scar scar looks like this before a cold scarf to wear, which is like why?

  • But alright if you want to be cool and look fashionable, get the, during the hot season, you can do sports or go shopping while wearing this neck scarf.

  • It looks like we can open it.

  • So this is 600 yen.

  • The color is aggressive.

  • I've got to say actual fuck is this?

  • Do you tie it like a tie?

  • Oh, there's like a little pocket and you push it through, you're supposed to wet it.

  • It's just like wearing a wet towel, tie, wetter tie, wetter tie, wetter away with you, wow!

  • Nice technology is here.

  • It's just water literally just water everywhere.

  • Fashion.

  • Extraordinaire chris fraud.

  • It's just tie.

  • Why is it so small?

  • You just get a flannel and just make a towel, make it wet and just wrap it around you.

  • There's nothing about this.

  • It's good that stripping.

  • Yes, it's horrible on the back.

  • It's got like this diagram showing you the high technology uses semiconductor superconductor back and the court must come from the water and put a towel on your neck.

  • You could use a normal time.

  • Yeah.

  • Just put it in water, wrap it around your neck.

  • I've never seen anybody wear this in public and now we know why I mean.

  • Yeah, this is garbage.

  • Yeah.

  • One out of 10.

  • Next.

  • Do I look cool.

  • Oh and that's before the tie went on.

  • Yeah.

  • Zero out of 10.

  • Next.

  • Good God.

  • Calling towel poncho solid color UV protection.

  • I am confused.

  • Is that a solid color?

  • This is like like a rag.

  • I don't really feel any different except just a bit of paris.

  • Really.

  • The cool factor is not there.

  • It doesn't feel cooling, does it not kill them all?

  • This looks very menacing.

  • This isn't like cooling me down.

  • It's making me very hot.

  • Yeah, it's material, it's like it's a ship, it really hot.

  • Now.

  • This is supposed to be a cooling tower pancho, but it's not a hot towel poncho.

  • It was only 300 yen.

  • That's genuinely rubbish.

  • One out of 10.

  • Shit out of 10.

  • That was rubbish.

  • All right.

  • It's time for some food and my food.

  • I mean sweet that I've not had before.

  • Actually.

  • These are made by my he made the energy jelly.

  • As seen by dr jelly.

  • Oh you can get in tablet form and it's a very salty tablet I think to raise your salt levels and raise your spirits.

  • Oh anyway, other tablet, thank you.

  • It's full of vitamin B vitamin C Quinn in calcium, right?

  • Both Latvian unicorn hair.

  • Is it good?

  • It's alright.

  • It feels like something that needs to be put in water.

  • It's very dry.
