We're still ways out from figuring out human hibernation, but even if scientists do make it a reality, there are still some complications. So, say hibernation was used in deep space missions, because our bodies don't store food reserves, an astronaut would need to be fed through a tube surgically inserted from the abdomen into the stomach.
