  • Now, some of our favorite features of the sapphire preferred include bonus points for every dollar you spend on travel dining, select streaming services and select online grocery purchases.

  • You also won't get dinged for any foreign transaction fees when you use the card overseas.

  • Now the chase sapphire preferred does have a $95 annual fee, but the perks more than make up for it.

  • Second is the platinum card from American Express, which we love for luxury travel.

  • Now look this is not a cheap card but famous Amex Platinum is a heavyweight when it comes to top notch travel perks, it has numerous annual credits and provides complimentary access to hundreds of airport lounges worldwide, including Amex's own centurion lounges, priority pass lounges and Delta Sky clubs.

  • When you're flying Delta, You'll also get elite status with two major hotel chains and multiple car rental companies along with even more luxury travel benefits.

  • So what is the Amex platinum costs?

  • Well right now the annual fee is $695 which may seem hard to swallow, but the card comes with enough annual credits that you can utilize to offset most, if not all, of the cost of that annual fee.

  • This one is great if you plan on being a frequent flyer on Southwest Airlines this year.
