  • mm hmm.

  • Good morning everybody.

  • Welcome to Tokyo Creative play.

  • I'm your host, Emma.

  • And today I'm here with Sarah.

  • Hello and we are in the wonderful Harajuku Takeshita Dori.

  • You guys have probably been to Harajuku if you've been to Japan.

  • It's a very Hawaii culture.

  • Very cute, very crazy heart is known for its cute fashion.

  • It's crazy people.

  • And also it's going to be some cute and crazy food as well.

  • I'm very hungry.

  • I'm hungry too.

  • I think we're gonna find some stuff that's very, you know, pink and crazy colors, but hopefully it's delicious too.

  • I never know what foods like that.

  • It's actually gonna taste good or if it's just gonna be crazy looking.

  • Yeah, I'm excited to have some colorful food.

  • Let's get going.

  • Okay, sounds good.

  • Let's go.

  • We got a giant chicken.

  • Look at the size of its face, it's huge.

  • So this was 700 yen.

  • I don't know why it's called copy butter.

  • It doesn't really look like it doesn't, it kind of looks like a cup of butter.

  • It smells really good.

  • It actually smells like this is a Taiwanese.

  • So I think it's got this kind of Taiwanese seasoning.

  • I'm not familiar with with it, but it smells really, really good.

  • So I guess we're just gonna take it off the side.

  • Thank you.

  • Oh, it's really juicy.

  • I was worried that it would need sauce or something.

  • But super juicy, Really flavorful.

  • They added like all this seasoning to the, to the mix on the outside.

  • It's like you can see all the flavoring on the top.

  • It's like pepper and I don't know if it's cheese but it's got like kind of like a salty sweet flavor.

  • It's very hot, reminds me of a giant family mart chicken, but I feel like this is better.

  • It's really thin.

  • So I feel like it's really easy to chew and like in terms of like Hotta stickiness, what do you think the coffee?

  • But it is really cute.

  • But I mean it is a giant piece of chicken.

  • I'm glad they didn't color it with like colors or anything like that.

  • But it's it's fun.

  • I really like, I think it is quirky and different enough that it's okay here, but it's not the most logical thing.

  • I think we're gonna see today.

  • Shall we get on to the next one?

  • The name of the place is interesting.

  • We got some strawberry fetish that makes me want to eat it so much more.

  • Do you have a strawberry fetish?

  • Maybe I will after this.

  • Oh yeah, we got some candied strawberries.

  • They also have candied grapes, but they were sold out and I'm sad because I love candied grapes.

  • Have a confession.

  • It's my first time having a candied strawberry or candied fruit really well, have you seen them before because they're not City and stuff.

  • Yeah, I love them because I like smr muck bangs and people always eat because they're crunchy.

  • They're crunches.

  • Like oh, so you have a fetish.

  • I have a whole that was a good crunch.

  • I know why it's on Smr.

  • Mm hmm.

  • I love that.

  • That's really, really nice.

  • Also, it said on the sign that you only get four strawberries and they gave us five.

  • Yeah.

  • Have another one.

  • I have another one.

  • This was really, really good.

  • I would get another one of these really big and they taste the same as the same.

  • But the place above it is the very first place.

  • So should we just go straight down?

  • Sounds good.

  • We got it all the sticks poking through the top.

  • We took so many photos.

  • Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

  • It's so big.

  • I feel like we just need to get started before it falls.

  • Sure I'm going to use my hands because I know my face is going to get all messed up.

  • Oh no, I'm unraveling it.

  • No.

  • Okay.

  • It's like, it's so soft.

  • You can really taste the flavor.

  • It's really nice.

  • Eight mine so weirdly.

  • What's the blue one?

  • You guys?

  • I know what it is now.

  • Tell me it's soda like Romania.

  • It's a really nice flavor.

  • I like how to speak the flavors are doing a great job on that.

  • And they're not like too overpowering as well.

  • They're not like, you know, sometimes I find great flavor is like, you know, it's funny.

  • Like in Australia, we call this fairy floss.

  • But in America.

  • It's cotton candy.

  • Japanese.

  • Oh no, I'm taking way too much in japanese.

  • What I'm in and for english, it's candy floss.

  • No fairy floss candy.

  • But then for english people, british people, camera died.

  • But we ate the fairy floss and now we're gonna eat some poop poop.

  • It's ice cream.

  • They got poop ice cream and they serve it in a little toilet.

  • I can't eat it.

  • But I'm gonna get a baby's bottle, which is kind of equally like what's going on?

  • I'm a big baby and I'm a baby who had some fun.

  • I got my chocolate poop in japanese.

  • This two way to say poop.

  • So schemas are your big baby bottle.

  • It's dr Mazza, mm hmm.

  • It's very like rich, dark chocolate.

  • It's quite nice actually.

  • Once um start biting into, it doesn't really look like poop as much after it.

  • Still, it still looks pretty poopy, poopy to me, but like um, Emma just said it was a good idea.

  • Get the white one.

  • I agree.

  • Now, very japanese, toilet.

  • Um, not awash lit.

  • It's a japanese style.

  • Have you guys got one, you got to be ready, baby?

  • This is how I should eat.

  • Sarah.

  • Oh no, How's your baby bottle?

  • It's good.

  • It's very fizzy and they added like a blue apple jelly to it.

  • And the jelly is nice.

  • It's nice, very refreshing.

  • You're gonna keep the model and drink from it while you stream at home.

  • Yes, I guess I will.

  • It's kind of cute.

  • I could put alcohol in it and be like, baby needs a bottle.

  • Go, go, go, go, go, go.

  • Did you, should I try the eye?

  • What does the I taste like this?

  • Ruminate the remaining can.

  • Yeah, I can see that.

  • This is white chocolate in the front.

  • This is fun.

  • I like it.

  • I think this is also relatively new.

  • I haven't seen this one before.

  • This is seven.

  • Alright, this is like a, Like a six.

  • It's like maybe a, maybe a seven because of the bottle and the bottle makes it I mean it's just a very normal soda with jelly in it, but the bottle makes it so I'll give it a seven.

  • This is decent for an ice cream.

  • We haven't read any of the others chicken.

  • I give it a I give I give it another seven out of 10 because it's pretty good.

  • It's just so big.

  • You needed a party to eat it.

  • And then we had strawberries.

  • 10 out of 10.

  • They're my favorite big.

  • So we had fairy floss.

  • 10 9.

  • What?

  • What would make it the perfect fairy floss.

  • Um I don't know, it's just maybe I don't like fairy floss as much as I could give it a 10.

  • Like, I like the strawberries more than the ferry flights because they're just like strawberries better about fairy flies.

  • It's a tent like, oh, thank you.

  • How we've had so much sugar.

  • I feel like I'm gonna die.

  • I'm not that happy.

  • My heart is like, I think what's next.

  • I kind of want something.

  • Savory.

  • Yes, please.

  • Yeah.

  • Yeah.

  • Mhm.

  • We've got a big potato potato longest longer, not long or longer, we've got the longest and it's 52 cm.

  • That's a big potato.

  • But we got flavoring on it because we could choose from butter show you which is butter and soy sauce flavor and barbecue.

  • Oh yeah, that's right.

  • Yeah.

  • Would you, would you want the first, It's your money.

  • Yeah, I mean it's deep fried potato.

  • I like how soft it is because sometimes I get worried it's just gonna be like crunchy potato chips, but it's a nice like soft potato with crispy outside and soft.

  • I really like the butter show you.

  • It's such a classic flavor in japan that you can get that Zacharias and things like potatoes.

  • I like getting it on popcorn.

  • This wasn't massive.

  • But it's surprising because I was like imagining it would be a couple of potatoes, but it was just like one giant potato that they put in this little machine.

  • I like all the stuff we've tried today because I feel like it's good for sharing with friends like this.

  • It's like, yeah, we can all have a little bit the fairy floss, everything.

  • It's like on the strawberries, we can reach out a little bit.

  • I read this.

  • It's so hard to not say seven out of 10 for five.

  • Really?

  • I was gonna say six or seven.

  • It's good, But suddenly we're having it cold is a little oily and the flavoring is very strong for me.

  • But I think if you have it fresh, it's gonna taste a bit better.

  • I think personally I would refer to crispier.

  • Mm hmm.

  • But I'm, you know, it's it's a fun thing to have.

  • And it's the same company that does the strawberries.

  • So get your strawberry and your giant potato sticks.

  • I do like it and it's fun for photos to mm mm mm mm mm mm Okay.

  • We've come to candy Agogo and we're gonna get some candy and a go go.

  • You can buy a bunch of stuff and take him home.

  • Yeah, it's like a pick and mix.

  • But there's some stuff here that's really like nostalgic for me.

  • And also stuff I've never seen before.

  • Like there's this chocolate croissant marshmallow which looks really fun.

  • And then they also next to have these little fruit candies.

  • Did you have these growing up?

  • You can get them in like 10 cent machines.

  • You put it in.

  • You get like a couple of Yeah.

  • Yeah.

  • Yeah.

  • There's a lot of german ones like the trolley actually really, there's so much stuff they have completo which is japanese.

  • So if you guys have seen this in Spirited away when like all the little so you guys are running around with the computer.

  • It's like star candy.

  • Look at that present.

  • Look at that, look here, this is like it's a japanese star apparently chilly billy.

  • Oh, gels love really, just kiwi flavor.

  • That's a lot of it looks like a mushy peas.

  • Like british mushy peas.

  • The lady working was so cute.

  • Very cool.

  • That's it.

  • We're gonna get a crepe crepe.

  • Really, really famous.

  • And how did you go to somebody right here?

  • This is gonna be our last snack for today.

  • Yeah, we're pretty full.

  • But we're gonna we're gonna keep on going and we're gonna get another one.

  • I might get a savory one.

  • I've never got a savory crepe before.

  • They have heaps of them were in a cold little alleyway without crepes.

  • I have sausage and egg.

  • I have strawberries, butter and sugar and we've got to eat it while it's still hot.

  • So it's I really like it.

  • Mm hmm.

  • I'm a little, I was a little worried because the crepe dough is a little bit sweet, but it works really well.

  • It's super nice and it's hot and it's like, it's like a breakfast, It's like a breakfast burrito but crispy.

  • I really needed this.

  • This feels like real food because all the stuff we've been today has been delicious.

  • But man, am I on a sugar crash.

  • I don't think people usually come to heart as you're going to eat all the snacks, they eat like one or on this like sixth or seventh one.

  • Usually when I go down to the door and I'm like, oh, it's so hard to choose which one I'm gonna get.

  • Not, I'm gonna eat all of them.

  • Well that was eating down Takeshita Dori video.

  • You guys have you been to take extra duty and do you have a favorite thing that you've eaten down there?

  • Like I hope that everything is still there like when you guys get to come back because some of the shops have changed but that also means there's gonna be new stuff as well.

  • So more things that you get to try when you come back to visit, let us know if we should do more videos where we eat down streets and suburbs of Tokyo.

  • I mean each area has different kinds of food like I know you wanna has like that whole market street where it's not like Hawaii but it's lots of different snack foods and each area is so distinct so I feel like it has this unique vibe to it.

  • So yeah, maybe we should eat our way through Tokyo let us know in the comments down below.
