  • mhm.

  • All right, so this is a typical 7 11 Ice Coffee Vending Machine.

  • It's now brewing the coffee right here.

  • How you doing, everybody?

  • Oh, there it comes.

  • This is a normal coffee, and I need this as a base to understand how good or how bad What we're going to try today is done.

  • Grab a lid.

  • Okay.

  • Welcome to Tokyo.

  • How you doing, everybody?

  • Today I'm gonna be tasting a new coffee.

  • That is bizarre.

  • And I wanted to start by getting a regular coffee.

  • This is a nice drink.

  • Here you are.

  • And this is my drink right here.

  • Boom.

  • Check it out.

  • This is the cold brew.

  • UCC coffee.

  • Lemon aid.

  • I don't know why they put lemonade in there.

  • Maybe it's a summer thing.

  • It can't be good.

  • It can't be good.

  • Lemonade?

  • Coffee?

  • It really does say that right there.

  • It says I guess it's sweet.

  • I don't know.

  • What do you guys think?

  • What do you think?

  • How much lemon juice is in there?

  • Well, we're going to discover this all In this very short live stream here.

  • I don't need to take 20 minutes to drink a coffee, Although I probably could.

  • I probably could.

  • How you doing, everybody?

  • I'm gonna put my my iced coffee there, and we're gonna try something silly.

  • Can I and Leo are right there, but it's just us today.

  • Happy Father's Day to all the fathers out there.

  • Uh huh.

  • We're in Ginza.

  • Chuo May right now.

  • And this is where we're gonna be doing some shopping and strolling gains is a perfect place to go for a stroll.

  • And before we do that, let's try this coffee Now.

  • I bought that that ice coffee right there, and I brought a lemon with me to try that.

  • Is the Aaron Burgee back there?

  • By the way, everybody.

  • So let's give this a try.

  • This is so bizarre.

  • It's weird because it hits you on so many different types of parts of the tongue.

  • There's a generic sweetness in there.

  • I don't know.

  • It doesn't taste like lemonade.

  • It's like a very subtle lemon.

  • Sweet, like very subtle lemon.

  • Sweet.

  • I guess you don't want to overpower the coffee, but you have that very acidic coffee taste to it.

  • So it hits you on so many parts of the tongue.

  • Yeah.

  • All right.

  • There's a sour tanginess to it.

  • So it hits you there.

  • But I don't know.

  • It's not bad, but it's not.

  • I'd rather have regular coffee.

  • I drink the coffee because I like the grit.

  • I like that better grid.

  • You know what I mean?

  • But it's pretty good.

  • Now I'm gonna be doing my own weird experiment.

  • Who's here?

  • Michael Sanders in the house.

  • How you doing, Michael?

  • This is mostly for a sweet snack to go with the coffee.

  • I'll tell you what Michael I bought.

  • Can I?

  • A burrito last time and that was really good.

  • This time we're going to get her something really nice and Ginza So I really appreciate that so much and W x turbo Happy First Father's Day.

  • Thank you.

  • I know it's weird.

  • Father's Day, right?

  • I didn't expect us a year ago.

  • Drinks for the whole family.

  • Thank you, Stephen.

  • Franz Hopper and Elvis Camera Hygiene.

  • Happy Father's Day.

  • You can get my granddaughter Zara.

  • zero Happy 4th birthday to Zira.

  • Xander zero in who is to six and 46 and two.

  • Wow.

  • It's the triple X family.

  • Thank you.

  • Also hide to Connie and Rio.

  • Thank you.

  • Elvis Camera.

  • Happy birthday.

  • again.

  • Zara.

  • All right, I'm gonna just try this out here.

  • We're in a corner in Ginza.

  • This is This is as real as it gets.

  • I'm gonna put my mask away, all right?

  • I did something.

  • I can't just try this.

  • And that's the end of the livestream.

  • Because a lot of you will will be tuning in over the course of the next five minutes.

  • And can I and I are going to be doing a little shopping today?

  • But I brought a line with me.

  • This is just a sick experiment.

  • Um, thanks for that.

  • Father's Day wishes.

  • Everyone is saying Happy Father's Day.

  • Happy Father's Day for me, from our family to your to your to all of you fathers.

  • Especially the first time fathers out there that have been staying up all night while your wife sleeps.

  • Love the family.

  • This is the The Normal 7 11 Coffee.

  • It's very good.

  • They grind the beans right there.

  • And you can you saw a drip into the you just buy this plastic container with the ice already in it.

  • Now I'm going to add some lime to it.

  • I don't know why I'm doing this.

  • I'm doing it because you have to be bold people.

  • Yeah, you have to be bold.

  • Mhm.

  • Why?

  • I don't know why.

  • Don't ask me why to me.

  • I didn't have any lemons, so I figured maybe lime is better.

  • I am doing this for science, so it's It's lime cold.

  • It's a lime, uh, cold coffee versus the U.

  • C.

  • C.

  • Cold brew lemonade, and we're gonna see which one is better.

  • I gotta mix it up a little bit.

  • It's like cocktail hour.

  • Alright, let's try this again.

  • Sweet.

  • Some Citrus on one side, bitterness on the other.

  • Refreshing.

  • It's now John's homemade lime coffee.

  • That's nasty.

  • That's nasty.

  • I think you need scientists to literally take samples and come up with some kind of cocktail.

  • It just tastes like Citrus and coffee.

  • Maybe you need Sugar.

  • James Boardman's right Nostra Broad rights.

  • Leave it to the experts.

  • I think that might be the right way to go.

  • So my eye I don't know what the right way to go is.

  • James Boardman.

  • Thank you.

  • Thank you, guys.

  • Everybody.

  • So just a last final.

  • So my experiment failed.

  • Don't do this.

  • It's not the same.

  • The cold brew coffee is too too acidic.

  • And the lime is too much Citrus.

  • So there's some sort of balance that's needed.

  • Maybe salt, maybe sugar.

  • I'm not sure.

  • I'm not sure Know how to thank you as I show you a wall.

  • So we're in Ginza each.

  • Okay, We're gonna go shopping a little bit.

  • Um, uh huh.

  • Just a big shadow.

  • I do think that UCC innovating is pretty cool.

  • You c c is the company that brought in the K cups and cakes cups never took off in Japan.

  • They have a very poor selection.

  • Probably a good thing, because all those plastic capsules, you probably go around the earth like 10 times with the amount that especially teachers drink in the us because on as a substitute teacher, they always had K Cups, and they would go through like boxes of them.

  • Just try to stay caffeinated to be, uh, energetic teacher, I guess.

  • Um, but yeah, the K cups never took off, So you C c.

  • Is finding new ways to innovate.

  • UCC is one of the biggest coffee companies, and I believe they own something ridiculous like 70% of the Blue mountain coffee in Jamaica, which is one of the most expensive cultivars of coffee.

  • Um, I like you.

  • CC knows what they're doing.

  • Guess they bought it in the bubble era of the 1980s.

  • Mhm.

  • Wow, It's different.

  • It's different.

  • All right, that's all.

  • That's all I wanted to show you.

  • So my final thoughts.

  • It's a good coffee.

  • Um, I'd rather have normal coffee, but I'm not gonna complain about it.

  • It's I don't, but I don't usually have sugar in my coffee, so this is a little bit sweet, but it's something that I would try once, maybe twice.

  • But here's the thing.

  • Okay, this is this is the the clincher for me, These kinds of cold coffees and pet bottles.

  • They're not that they're usually not that good.

  • All right.

  • They don't taste Good enough that they're not the same as, like, one of these fresh bruise from 711, which is 100 years, so to compete, I think they need to have something like this.

  • And it is a little bit tastier with something else in it, which you can do in a pet bottle.

  • So that's the final thing.

  • I think they succeeded with this because they found a way to make something interesting with a pet bottle.

  • Coffee, but pet bottle coffee typically isn't that good.

  • Even the canned coffee is like you know you need it for the caffeine.

  • More than the taste, but they do a pretty good job.

  • David Lee.

  • Happy Father's Day.

  • Happy Father's Day for all the past live streams.

  • I miss David in Hong Kong.

  • Thank you, my friend.

  • Scotty H.

  • Yeah.

  • Just say hello to Leo.

  • Here's Leo right there.

  • Hey, Leo.

  • He hasn't He hasn't actually been in a live stream or anything.

  • This is maybe the first time.

  • Leo, you're on on on the world TV in a live stream, buddy.

  • Yeah.

  • Hey, Leo.

  • Happy Father's Day is happy.

  • Father's Day.

  • One day, you'll you'll You'll have kids to Leo.

  • I don't I don't know.

  • It's my first one.

  • Even though he kept me up and really late at night, it's okay.

  • It's all worth it.

  • Final note.

  • If you are in Japan, it's we're trying the cold brew coffee, lemonade Uh, by u C.

  • C.
