  • We are in Oceanside this weekend in California, and we're here with our puffs and going to do lots of adventures with them.

  • Candy was here, actually.

  • What?

  • Oh, my gosh.

  • I think it's been, like three or four years now, but I did not come with.

  • I didn't have Zoe then.

  • So now that we're here, we really wanted to bring the dogs with us and have, like, a girls' weekend do all these pet friendly things and were even saying at a pet friendly hotel right in front of the beach.

  • So it's like amazing views from our hotel room.

  • Yeah.

  • Mhm.

  • Yeah.

  • Yeah.

  • Okay, we got a little bit excited.

  • We both ordered two entrees.

  • I got the French toast, which they said it was the chef's favorite.

  • It's so good even doing on some.

  • And I also got a super fluffy.

  • I just can't stop eating it.

  • The avocado toast with poached eggs and look at the presentation is so beautiful.

  • So I got the hassle bag pro monster or bagel with sunny side or actually not seen inside.

  • It's over.

  • Medium egg on top actually sells a really good and I can't wait to dig into this.

  • And of course, I had to get a side of pancake.

  • That's not really a side.

  • It's like an entree of pancakes.

  • Look at how it turns.

  • So nice.

  • I'll look at my turn.

  • You gotta catch that.

  • That's so cool.

  • I've never seen a do that.

  • And with the pancakes, I'm like, Oh, it's like warm syrup and whipped butter.

  • Love with butter.

  • I am very excited to try all this and has for Candies.

  • Yeah.

  • Mhm.

  • Yeah.

  • Mm hmm.

  • So this house actually is called the top gun house, and it's a very cute cottage type house.

  • You can see it from the hotel.

  • The Mission Pacific Hotel.

  • It's like on their property, actually, and it was used in a scene in Top Gun.

  • It was actually Charlie's house.

  • So, um, now they're still renovating it, but they're gonna make it into a dessert shop.

  • So that's opening soon, and they're gonna call it Charlie's.

  • Yeah, it's, um it's a very iconic building here in Oceanside, and I'm actually really impressed that they was actually the building was a little bit further down the street and they moved the entire building over here repainted the exterior and now they're working on the inside.

  • Mhm.

  • Okay, so we're here at ozone it, and this is located within the Mission Pacific Hotel.

  • But you can enter from inside the hotel or outside on the street.

  • Yeah, but it's so hard to find some really cool things.

  • It's a local shop, plus a surf shop so you can buy a lot of local artisan goods.

  • Um, they have, like, dog collars.

  • They have some sunglasses, shirts, clothing, that stuff here.

  • Yeah, those are nice.

  • Very nice.

  • It's like velvet suede.

  • Yeah.

  • So they have layer donuts.

  • I'm not sure what that means, but they have all these different flavors, and then they have dog doughnuts, which is something unique here.

  • And they have dogs in here too.

  • Guys ready to get some donuts?

  • They have doggy donuts here.

  • Yeah.

  • What do you think?

  • So you want a dog, you doughnut.

  • Fresh doughnuts are coming out, like, pretty often here.

  • Yeah.

  • Mm.

  • Okay.

  • Here's your doggy doo.

  • Yeah.

  • Oh, yeah.

  • How is that?

  • I think you're enjoying it.

  • I just gave me the whole thing.

  • Yeah, Okay.

  • But he does want to parlor doughnuts and finally got our layer donuts.

  • as they call it, but it's basically a cronut.

  • Yeah, that's what we figured out.

  • What we didn't figure out.

  • We asked what it was, but basically it's like a crescent.

  • Yeah, it's a doughnut croissant.

  • Doughnut candy.

  • Got a crony is what they call it.

  • Yeah, I thought it was Yeah, I thought I mean, a cup.

  • Folks, this isn't a cup, but it's just like a a little circle, So a little bit confused, but it smells delicious.

  • The dogs, they got their dog donut.

  • Oh, my gosh.

  • She's always ate.

  • All of hers are really not.

  • So, as expected, I was just gonna go Zoey hat, But she's like, you can't take this away from me.

  • So I just gave it all to her.

  • She's a big dog, so she's gonna handle it.

  • Yeah.

  • Mhm.

  • Okay, so we're gonna ride one of these bikes here, see which one is the best fit for us, baby.

  • How is it?

  • How is that in there?

  • Mhm.

  • There you go.

  • Hi.

  • Are you happy?

  • Is again?

  • I'll have to walk my tiny little legs.

  • Are we?

  • Yeah.

  • All right.

  • So we just took out the bike for a ride with the dogs.

  • It's a bit challenging because the chairs it wasn't what we imagined on this side.

  • Of course, the basket works for Kuma because she's like in this like, comfy area.

  • We brought this, like for thing for her.

  • From paul dot com.

  • It's perfect.

  • Yeah, it was all perfect.

  • Kuma loved it, could fit in just right.

  • Zoey, on the other hand, she can't fit in the basket up front, so we had to kind of put her with us.

  • But it is kind of scary for the dog because the seat is slim.

  • There's not a lot of room, so if you look at it, it's so slim.

  • And so he's like, barely fitting on.

  • So she's a little bit scared.

  • She doesn't want to sit by herself.

  • Your cat.

  • So I've got a dog that's fine by themselves.

  • Like it'll be great because it's always like No, I got to sit with my mom, a Mountie crystal.

  • She had to sit right on our laps.

  • I had a lot of fun, though.

  • It was.

  • All you do is you go up and down the Strand strand area.

  • Yeah, it's like right along the beach, right along the pier.

  • There's a section where the road is closed.

  • You don't have to worry about cars.

  • Every once in a mother was like the trash trucks that come by to pick up trash.

  • But they kind of stay out of your way because they know this is like the tourist playing.

  • Basically, Yeah.

  • This little cart being with the spicy part has that actual map.

  • Yeah, I know where you're allowed to go where you're not allowed to go, but it's just a straight shot secret Enjoying the view of the ocean?

  • Yeah.

  • I had a good time dogs into.

  • I know Kuma Kuma really enjoyed it because I just got a chill, just like I don't know.

  • I like it, but I'm also scared.

  • She's like having adrenaline rush.

  • Yeah.

  • Okay, so we're back at the rooftop bar.

  • We're actually here yesterday last night, um, to have a one last nightcap before we went back to the hotel room.

  • It was kind of a different vibe, you know, They had the lights on, and it was like, pretty paint colors.

  • And then right now, you know, everybody is here to see the sunset.

  • Clouds are covering it.

  • A bit, but there is a nice, like Ray coming through the clouds, which is nice.

  • Yeah.

  • And so we is just loving this.

  • Yeah, She's like owning this place right now, but I think today I'm gonna try, um, the Pacific time, which has locals only vodka, cucumber, pineapple, turmeric and line.

  • Okay, So Kuma and Zoey took over these two chairs, and so can you.

  • And I are very like, Yeah, that's fine.

  • But so I got my drink.

  • It's very tasty.

  • It's very fresh.

  • I like that.

  • I like my drink too.

  • Yeah, I got an octopus taco, which I've never had a grilled octopus.

  • I've had grilled octopus, but not in Taco.

  • And I've already had, like, this middle stuff, and it's so tasty.

  • This drink is really good.

  • It's really refreshing.

  • And I like cucumber drinks.

  • I don't know what it is.

  • I think it gives it extra refreshing.

  • This twin or something?

  • Yeah.

  • So this is nice.

  • We got a nice outdoor table here with lots of heat around us, right?

  • Yes.

  • It's always already excited.

  • Yeah, it was under there, and then I don't know if this is actually four dogs, but it was a nice thing to have to put our leashes on.

  • All right, so I got the margarita.

  • Ooh,
