  • Hey guys, so we're at, what, what I say right now and what I say is like uh museum type place for the nephew to and never to festivals and festivals start.

  • It goes from august 1st to seventh I believe we're second to seventh.

  • So when you come here, it's probably one of the biggest festivals in Japan.

  • If you get the chance to see it, it's pretty amazing.

  • The Nevada festival is believed to have been invented in eight hundred's.

  • Such a long time ago.

  • But during that period the floats are made out of cloth, bamboo and leaves to scare away enemies during intense battles nowadays of floats that you see here are made from paper and hand painted.

  • You can also try on the traditional clothes that they have laying out here kind of reminds me of like Hawaii, I don't know why because of all the flowers.

  • Maybe.

  • Usually these floats are based off of old japanese tales and legends.

  • Each one telling a story.

  • All of these floats are eventually crushed and then torn down after days of work every year.

  • It takes about one whole entire year to make all of these floats and all of these floats are based off of this year.

  • So I feel like behind me, this was from this year over there that was from this year.

  • And the biggest parade has about 33 floats.

  • This is including like the medium sized floats, but all of the, there's 22 big ones and like a few medium sized ones, wow, this is dedication.

  • The winning float of the year was a story of the, I knew people from Hokkaido people who truly lived many years ago.

  • This museum has some interactive things such as creating your own nepo to float face or learning how to place the paper on the floats.

  • This was my creation.

  • You can also try playing the Taiko drum as well.

  • We ate lunch at a donut goody fish market.

  • Don't body is a rice bowl that you can add seafood too.

  • They have things like fish, octopus, clams, These weird things and more everything is fresh and so delicious looking.

  • I'm amazed by the quality.

  • There's lots to choose from.

  • So load up.

  • Yeah.

  • Mhm.

  • We're going to make your own rifle with fish and rice and everything.

  • So I'm gonna get my rice for you have to buy these tickets and then you give the tickets to the people at all of the stations.

  • So all the fish and everything is really fresh for one ticket, it's like a small rice and for two, it's like a big race.

  • I don't know which one I want to get.

  • Mhm.

  • Mhm.

  • Mhm, mm hmm.

  • Okay, so I got my food and look how awesome it looks.

  • So I got shrimp.

  • I got Echo, which is um squid.

  • I got crap, which is funny and then this is salmon and tuna and then I think I forgot what this is a tie on it, but I'm not sure if that was another dead fish and then egg and she gave me an egg so I'm gonna put some, usually put some like soy sauce on it.

  • Mhm It's my favorite.

  • Mhm, mm.

  • Yeah.

  • Mhm, mm it's really good.

  • So I'm gonna eat the rest of this.

  • Mhm Yeah.

  • Mhm, mm.

  • Hey everybody, I met nepotism luna right now and it's rating right now, but it's still beautiful as I remember it.

  • I've been here before and it's a really cool place to see.

  • You can do lots of like crafts and um I see a lot of shows and there's a lot of things to look at from the nipple to nipple to festivals and museums.

  • So we're just going to go and look around and see what we can find.

  • So let's pick up this museum is similar to what to say, except it's Hirosaki City's own Neptune festival floats.

  • This festival takes place from august 1st to the seventh around the same time as all of all Maury's nepo to and never to festivals.

  • This place also houses Hirosaki treasures with shamisen and carefully crafted items.

  • There's also a japanese garden and a tea house you can enjoy.

  • Mhm.

  • Mhm.

  • Mhm That's an art, I don't think I could draw them or paint this or have enough patience to do this.

  • Shamisen is one of Hirosaki specialties.

  • After checking out the shamisen museum, you can walk through the garden and feed the koi fish.

  • It's only 100 yen for the food like I'm gonna get kicked off.

  • It's there's also a mini toy museum where you can try them out for yourselves or buy them their old toys from the past but they're still played with today.

  • There's even one toy that makes an eerie sound when you spin it soy.

  • There's all kinds of crafts that you can do here and sign up for.

  • I did when, when I was living in Al Maury and here's a little picture on the side, you can see I made some chopsticks.

  • You can make many more things as well and it's fun for kids and adults alike.

  • A lot of the pottery here is made from apple ash, which is the burned ashes from the apple trees.

  • The only time Epa Tamara isn't open is during the winter.

  • So come here anytime before then.

  • I checked for more places to visit on my planet sized guidebook and we found a beautiful temple just down the way from napa to move to size showing temple is said to have the most beautiful pagoda in the Tohoku region and represents those who died in battle during the reunification of the salgado district.

  • Yeah, it's a very peaceful place and it's all right here in the middle of Hirosaki city.

  • This um temple is a great end to the day because very peaceful and relaxing and how maury is so much nicer because the weather is just so cool.
