  • All right, let's get a steak on.

  • It cannot be steak has been serving up then thick hitters on cast iron plate since 2013 with now over 200 locations all throughout Japan.

  • And for those that don't know, it cannot be steak literally means set in steak, which is a simple concept of get your quality steak fix on quickly and whenever you want without the hassle and fields of them sit down place is definitely my speed, which is why I'm here so often.

  • Plus it's one spot in Tokyo where quality meat doesn't break the bank account.

  • So we made it inside.

  • But the first thing we do is we have to order our food first.

  • Let me explain how it all goes down after you're seated and let them know you're in the market for steak.

  • Take your table number two?

  • The front counter to order your meat.

  • Just the way you like it.

  • How many grams and how you want to cook.

  • You're saying okay and right there on the spot in front of you.

  • They'll cut your meat to size and all of it is grilled in front of the dining section where everyone can see nothing like here in the crackle of steaks cooking over an open grill and that intoxicating barbecue said building the restaurant them.

  • I can't wait for my steak to be served.

  • Quick tip though, the stakes have served on extremely hot cast iron plate.

  • So I recommend ordering the meet at least one level more rare than you prefer.

  • So you can let the steak cook at the table while the plate cools down And a little secret between you and me.

  • You can actually order very rare for the nicer cuts of meat.

  • Also for those of you who like that dark brown brown, they can order it very well done enough.

  • Time to put the meat in my mouth.

  • This looks so good.

  • So first of all, what I like to do when I start off is I like to just spread the butter around.

  • You have these garlic chips, you have onions, you have the cornea of the carrots, you have all this stuff just laid out perfectly and I just put the sauce over it, wow, look at that.

  • Poor is just amazing.

  • Let's just take the first bite of that.

  • Oh, it is cooked perfectly.

  • The meat is so tender and juicy.

  • It's amazing.

  • This is why I come here.

  • I love how it's on an iron pam and just cooking it as we speak.

  • So even though I got the tenderloin, there's so many different meats that you can choose from.

  • So you can get rib eye steak, you can't sirloin steak can get chuck.

  • I but to be completely honest, the wild hamburger steak is a top contender for overall value and flavor, definitely one of my go to is the wild hamburger steak.

  • He uses 100% beef and is juiced up like fighters back in the pride days and I love every single juicy bite of it.

  • But on top of that it's only 770 yen for 100 and 50 g, which is about $6.5 for five ounces of meat joy.

  • It served fairly rare like this as it cooks while you eat it over the hot iron plate, adding a sauce is also a muslim but be careful, has a hot, sizzling flavor.

  • Loves to do a little dance right off the plate.

  • Wild steak is also a perfect choice for those looking for quality value and a red meaty option.

  • It's a chuck eye steak cut from certified angus beef and this one also signals for a reasonable 800 yen for 150 g, about $7 for five ounces.

  • One more thing that I wanted to mention is that they do have a raggedy cut steak, a que dice steak.

  • It's basically a mix of different cuts of meat so you can enjoy various flavors and textures in one order.

  • If you can decide what your meat passion is that day, then maybe this is the way to go.

  • But like I said, I'm having a day of it today, so I'm going with one of my faves the heat, a K A tenderloin cut made from Australian grass fed beef.

  • This cut is only available from 3% of the cow.

  • It has a soft and very fine texture, just like how I like my steaks.

  • So now that I've eaten some of the meat, what I like to do is make some garlic rice and the fact is you have all the ingredients to do it by bringing some of the meat.

  • And then what I'll do is I'll cut up all the rest of the meat that I have, I'll take some of the rice and I will put it on the side just right here like this and then I'll take the garlic, I'll just plop it on.

  • I love garlic so much that I put probably a little bit more than people are used to.

  • But no problem with that, I'll take a little bit of salt and pepper, just like this, take some of the garlic chips, then you just mix it all up and the remaining meat that you have and of course you can do this in any order you want.

  • But I just like to get that first hit of meat in my mouth before I started the fuss because I'm so hungry usually when I come here and then the trick here, ask them to reheat it so that you get a piping hot garlic rice, but all the lovely meat mixed in.

  • Look at this steaming late right here, it was like a minute or two for them to heat it right up and now everything is sizzling and perfect.

  • Take the first bite of this garlic loveliness, steaming as we would expect it.

  • Yeah.

  • Uh that garlic is so strong.

  • I put a lot of garlic and that one, but it is amazing.

  • It's so perfect.

  • You got garlic chips, you get the garlic sauce, you get the rice, you got the tenderloin right here and every single bite is a joy mm hmm.

  • This is like a very like sweet one.

  • So just to give you a few examples, you can take the mustard and you can take the nutty sweet sauce and you can put it together and that's quite a tasty combination, you can take the Wasabi here and obviously you can mix it with a soy sauce as another combination or one of my personal favorites is you can take their sweet, you can add the sauce and you can mix it with Tabasco but there's just so many different combinations that you can play with and you can just get all sorts of stuff and get super creative based on all these sauces and let me know in the comments what you would mix together.

  • So now if you have some garlic rice and some of your steak left over, let me share with you.

  • My next take another little secret between you and me is that you can eat your steak and rice pizza Mabuchi style which is originally an eel over rice bowl combo mixed with the soup broth and various spices basically.

  • You can take your rice dish with your meat and you can mix it with their soup here and you can just create an all new flavor and taste experience.

  • But first of all what you do is you take the remainder of your steak and your rice and you throw it in a bowl.

  • You usually have to ask the restaurant for the bowl.

  • That is looking good.

  • You got all of the food in here and then there's soup.

  • The soup itself here is amazing.

  • It's like I have some onions and carrots, some celery in there.

  • It is a meat enriched.

  • Broad, How beautiful is that?

  • All right, so now back to our mission, we're gonna throw some soup in here just like so but it soak in just a little bit as I'm soaking in the loveliness of this entire experience.

  • Look at this is like a perfect soup dish mm and just like his um a bushy, you can add wasabi or any other condiment did change the flavor.

  • We are going to flavor town today.

  • Most lovely as you still have those little pieces of garlic trips in there and the strong garlic garlic case as well.

  • And when they're all done with this, if you still want more you can order take out which is awesome.

  • People.

  • I want to bring someone to Michael because she wasn't here with me.

  • But that's pretty much how I would spend my time here at economic stake.

  • Get my quick fix, get all staked up sauce stuff and good to go.

  • So that's it.
