  • it's the best friend cam what?

  • This is not our second take, Everything went fine the first time around.

  • Yeah, uh huh You know you're trying to, you're trying to film a normal video in the Tim Hortons parking lot when the people beside you leave the car there opened its like B b two b b b b b b b b b b b two B.

  • That's fine, that's fine.

  • I'm just going away from the, I'm just gonna wait for the car door to close and he's like nope, not gonna close and I'm like Jackie's, it's just stayed open.

  • Oh now he's making a very loud phone call, we can literally hear through all of the car doors.

  • You need a handkerchief, my lady like my handkerchief.

  • Oh well I'm here with the best friend Jackie.

  • Some of you guys might remember Jackie from way back when, when she visited us in Korea and we went to like young book, young palace together and so we were like okay, wouldn't it be awesome if we went to timmy's, timmy's is tim Hortons which is the doughnut shop in Canada.

  • Do you think timmy's is similar to like Dunkin Donuts in America, why not, Jackie because Jackie lives in America but she is Canadian tim Horton's is like a cultural icon.

  • It is, I feel like timmy's is beloved, I can feel the music playing in the background, keep going, keep going, it's like a hangout place, it's a place to get like late night gigs when you come back drunk drunk, I mean absolutely sober from various but tim Hortons is so important, The lineup has never been ending the drive thru line up is going forever.

  • We decided we're gonna do is we're gonna hit the drive through, we're going to review some timmy, timmy ho hos donuts at the same time and introduce you guys to a little bit of Canadian culture and then we're going to do a little bit of a music throwback selection.

  • So I made an old school playlist for Jackie and I have songs that like we grew up listening to because of copyright, I obviously cannot play the song.

  • So we're gonna single course together and if you guys know the name of the song, write in the comment section below and we'll see how many of you guys know the songs that we're singing, Do you Better?

  • You go?

  • My lovely were really great at singing.

  • Yes, like so good.

  • That's why our careers have involved singing not Great, not Great shall we join the massive lineup that has never ended?

  • This is the kipling Station, Tim Hortons, this is Tim Hortons, That's very special.

  • Do I think both Jackie and I are Hearts, We've spent a lot of time here, people would come here order their food and drinks and then you would just sit in the parking lot with your friends and chill and you blast music like you would just blast music and like have your windows down and just it was kind of like a hangout spot?

  • Okay, so here's a question for you.

  • Do you ever get anxious when you order at the drive through?

  • Are you ever like you don't really, I'm totally like I'll have a like corn sweat, I'm not sure what I'm going to order.

  • Why don't the menus for drive throughs?

  • Shouldn't there be the menu here before you get to the voice box?

  • Hi, I would like to order a dozen donuts.

  • Go ahead.

  • Okay, boston cream.

  • Just one french crueler.

  • A rainbow Sprinkle chocolate chocolate chips.

  • Uh do you have a double chocolate apple fritter?

  • Did I say that, wow, okay.

  • Do you have a sour cream?

  • Yeah, a plane.

  • Do you have like a honey glazed, yeah, powder jelly.

  • Which doughnut would you like to try first?

  • My go to donut when I was a teenager and or a kid was a boston cream because I felt like I got my value.

  • There was cream in the middle and the icing on the top.

  • So like why would you just get a normal kind of ring circle chocolate glaze when you could get cream in.

  • It also delicious.

  • And then someone introduced me to the apple fritter and now I can't turn back, it's like my go to Jackie, did you know tim Hortons back that the apple fritter was one of the first donuts importance ever made.

  • I did not know well now you know that and I knew that not because I look things up online in advance, but because I'm a good Canadian the more you.

  • No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

  • I brought a knife.

  • It's not a doughnut.

  • This is a knife.

  • I'm sure people are gonna like call the cops on me.

  • I thought we could cut them in half and then we each can try each other's favorite donuts and also we absolutely should not consume 12 donuts, we're gonna die.

  • No, no, no, no, no thank God.

  • They didn't have coconut.

  • I do love coconut.

  • I love coconut.

  • You're like don't drink cheers.

  • How do you?

  • But I'm no touching no touching by the way we're in each other's bubble for the record.

  • Mhm.

  • Oh yeah.

  • What's up?

  • I got a huge apple right off the get go outside has like a sugary glaze that kind of breaks off on your fingers and makes it all kind of like sticky and sugary.

  • It's really soft and fluffy.

  • It has these little streaks of cinnamon.

  • So if you're not a cinnamon fan, this is not for you pair that with a doughnut doughnut doughnut with my doughnut a We're good.

  • I'm just gonna stop talking.

  • I haven't had breakfast yet because I know we're gonna we're gonna need a new strategy if you just cut them all in half.

  • We're just gonna eat our own half.

  • We can't do that.

  • We're going to be like, oh the napkins, nope.

  • But I brought wipes.

  • Oh hold on along with a knife.

  • I'm packing.

  • Don't thank me.

  • Thank live.

  • You know, that's how you know that you're tight with someone.

  • One moment I can't even help you crack up.

  • That's what, that's what got us trouble in trouble in school.

  • Although we were very clever note exchangers, we would have like penn martina took out the ink cartridge of a pen but kept the ball point on the other end.

  • Our teacher set us on diagonal opposite of the classroom for good reasons because we talk too much and she, she would say to her T shirt, she had missed, I need a pen.

  • I'd be like, I what walk all the way over to her side and then I'd be like, miss, I need an eraser martina Makai volunteers tribute.

  • She would fold the note so flat she would tuck it inside the cardboard sleeve and then run to give me an erase someone else's like, here's an erase your future guy.

  • I'm like, get that here, slap it out of their hands like it's covered in germs.

  • Next up we're trying Martinez favorite Jack, my God, there could be Children want, I mean you don't finger someone's don't hold without asking.

  • You know, you have to get permission.

  • Isn't this a donut hole.

  • I can imagine your mom martina, It's a donut hole.

  • That's a hole you put your finger in it.

  • That's what it is.

  • It's just facts.

  • This is my favorite doughnut.

  • Don't judge me.

  • I know it's covered in rainbow sprinkles but there is an important thing that Jackie said that I would like to point out, she said to me usually it has like flat sprinkles like you know this flat sprinkles, a little ball sprinkles.

  • I don't like no flat sprinkles.

  • You know why when you bite into them they crunch apart and fall into dust in your mouth.

  • I want texture.

  • People texture.

  • I prefer the longer cylindrical shaped sprinkles because these are too crunchy and they get stuck in my teeth.

  • Doesn't get caught in your teeth.

  • It does.

  • And I just go back and then like three weeks later you're like you're like find a rogue Sprinkle that you couldn't brush out.

  • I'm trying to justify why I like such a childish doughnut.

  • But it's got like this vanilla layer that I really enjoy it.

  • Alright listen for the crunch and listen from biting an apple sprinkles falling everywhere, doughnut cheers.

  • Yeah.

  • Can you hear that crunch?

  • Mm uh darling uh Can't get enough.

  • I think it's sweet.

  • Yeah, I mean it's sweet but it's not like it's not like an animal, viral sweet people are like what's in the name of our next episode?

  • Canadian Canadian dessert.

  • I really want to press on this.

  • Why shouldn't I can't tell you not to tell you not to.

  • Uh huh.

  • Yeah.

  • No, I'm not going to I'm going to save it.

  • Okay, tum tum do do do do I'm in my do you like getting this guy?

  • I pray.

  • Hey, I know I'm not a do do do ask me.

  • I hear you calling calling for me out in the night, but it's all bad and I know that.

  • What's your name?

  • Can I come to?

  • I know you're a good boy boy.

  • I'll give you more because I'm a fly girl and I got the Hot boys baby.

  • You got what?

  • We really don't know enough of that song.

  • But I hope you guys know who that is because that is called Lawson.

  • Next up in our Adventures sour cream glazed.

  • That's right sour cream.

  • It's kind of like buttermilk in a way.

  • It looks like yogurt.

  • It doesn't look that appealing.

  • It looks like a plain doughnut.

  • But you would be mistaken to skip up on the sour cream.

  • Mm That's so red, sour cream glaze.

  • Unbelievable.

  • I never ordered educated.

  • Did you know because we grow, it's going to get the one with the sprinkles on that.

  • Yeah.

  • Hang on mom or you have an ID 191 and you're like, this one even looks lumpy.

  • This looks like a piece of it just looks like a turd.

  • Don't know, millions of peaches.

  • Just for me, millions of peaches.

  • Beaches for free bonus song.

  • If you know who that is.

  • If you don't want to commit to a full sour cream doughnut they have sour cream tim.

  • It's and if you don't know what time it is.

  • It's a doughnut vault.

  • If you live in America, it is the same thing as a munchkin.

  • What the F is a munchkin?

  • It's attended weddings where the wedding cake was a timid tower.

  • Okay, We're about to do the most dreaded of all doughnuts.

  • I'm sorry, Jackie, we have to get it.

  • Um I got the powdered doughnut.

  • Now, the reason why the powdered doughnut is the most dreaded is because no matter what you do, you will be coated in white powder if you're wearing black.

  • Which unfortunately we both decided to wear black today.

  • We're gonna see if we can get inside of chile doughnut as adults and not cover ourselves in powder.

  • You don't not like the powdered doughnut a you know what he's like?

  • He's like, here's the inside.

  • Okay.

  • Very.

  • Can you see it dropping everywhere?

  • I don't even know if you can see that it's reaching for this and see if we can, yep.

  • Don't laugh for you.

  • Oh no, no.

  • Yeah, this is crap is not the same.

  • You know, this is like this is very chemically what there used to be like legit jam.

  • Yeah, this is not a good example if you're.

  • Oh my God, look at this contaminating.

  • I was once chocolate.

  • Now we need to put this contamination down.

  • This abomination contamination right now.

  • You know, Oh my pants, my pants, it's a catastrophe you guys see like powder powder.

  • Absolutely.

  • Everybody look at this box.

  • This box was once, I think the worst part is that it goes after the other donuts with its contaminating hovered divorce is not worth it.

  • Is that what's gone our cars over trying to kill us?

  • I think it's going to hover.

  • It's hovering like a stalker.

  • Hi, Wayne.

  • Hi.

  • Hi.

  • Let's win every mission in glass.

  • How do you get it in your face?

  • There you go.

  • That's what she said.

  • I fell for it.

  • I like that you're here.

  • That's what I'm going to.

  • Oh, everyone's always like, I love you sandwich in my eyes.

  • That's something you touched by me sucks, terrible lacking.

  • Sorry, I love you.

  • I know, I mean it's terrible.

  • Turn that down to we snitch what?

  • This was the chocolate dip.

  • Did you know?

  • This is the lowest calorie thing on the menu.

  • Yes.

  • Apparently this is the lowest calorie when I say lowest calorie.

  • I mean still not too good for you because it is a doughnut.

  • It is not my jam, but tons of my friends love this donut.

  • This was like the most popular donut amongst my friend group.

  • What's that?

  • It's the boring cousin of that other one, which we've got two of very annoying bull shank, the cousin's cousin of it, which is just the plain chocolate.

  • So the chocolate covered in glaze.

  • The chocolate covered in chocolate.

  • The sister of the plain doughnut.

  • You give me one to try it out and you're trying to do.

  • So I can see it's still that kind of yeasty doughnut.

  • So it's got that kind of pull to it, which is nice.

  • The glaze is actually really well done.

  • I'm a food nerd, Jackie.

  • This is a chocolate cake donut, chocolate icing.

  • That's the best way to do this doughnut gives the worst aftertaste.

  • And I will, I will commit to that statement.

  • What is happening in the aftertaste part is like a very funky.

  • Now, you've tempted me to try this one terrible aftertaste.

  • Like a fart in your mouth.

  • I'm glad I tried this.

  • Now the donut doesn't taste that way.

  • What's with dr taste?

  • What's with that fart in my mouth.

  • I'm tasting right now.

  • I taste something farty happening in my mouth.

  • I know your dad.

  • Is that fart right now like leftover stale tasting german's chocolate cake.

  • What's with that fart in my mouth?

  • I'm tasting right now.

  • Been and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and dan.

  • And and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and and, and do do do do do.

  • Oh, the small things.

  • True care truth brings.

  • I'll take one lift.

  • Lord ha strip always.

  • I know you'll be at my show watching, waiting, commiserating, this is a french crueler.

  • And it's got these little twists and I can tell you the truth that I never, ever, ever got this when I was growing up as a kid.

  • Cause it looked like a boring adult one and it's like really eggy on the inside.

  • So you how different it is in a doughnut.

  • Mhm.

  • I still feel the same way.

  • Yeah, it's really good.

  • No, that's not how I feel.

  • I know you don't like it.

  • No.

  • What do you feel about it?

  • Let me know your thoughts.

  • I don't like eggs.

  • Let the world know.

  • Well, I don't like if you don't like crazy, it's fine.

  • No judgment, just judgment.

  • So I don't like eggs and it's eggy.

  • It is a very eggy compared to the rest of the donuts.

  • It's eggy and I don't like egg flavor and I don't like this like eggy kind of consistency.

  • You donut, if you like eggs, you might like this donut, Jackie's review, if you like eggs, you might like this doughnuts go, yeah, what's going on?

  • I don't know why that happened, but that happens a lot with that spontaneously spontaneously saying with your friends, like it's like, why am I still eating this?

  • I don't like, well that was an exciting journey into the world of doughnuts.

  • I've done so many donut videos in my time and I had never done doughnuts in Canada.

  • I'd like to be able to look at Canada with a fresh new I rather than feeling homesick because I am kind of struggling with these feelings.

  • It doesn't quite feel like my home right now.

  • I'm gonna build the ladder, work my way through it and Jackie has helped me out with being very positive.

  • Thank you, Jackie.

  • She's like, I'm looking at the road.

  • But yeah, so guys, please let me know in the comment section below if you have tried tim horns, if you like those doughnuts, So I hope you guys enjoyed this video and I will see you for the next video.

  • No one ever knows how to close these things off what's with that effort in my mouth.

  • Mhm mm.
