  • So these were two major milestone, joe Rogan first max Keiser, second as a guest were those kind of like pivotal moments from the beginning as we're talking about all the way to this point.

  • Yeah, I mean, you know, and Pena was big now it's now it's getting, it's getting real and I'm getting serious and I'm getting, I'm hiring people and I'm just getting focused, I'm just getting focused.

  • I'm just taking it really seriously now.

  • Um I don't know, I just, yeah, I just went all in, I don't know what I was doing before, but something snapped at paying his castle and again paying, you didn't tell me something, He didn't put me in a corner.

  • It was like the second day I came into his office and we had a meeting scheduled and I said, I know everything I have to do, I gotta do this, I gotta do this.

  • And he tried to say something.

  • I said, let me, let me finish.

  • So I had just seen it and now you start to see the momentum picking up as well.

  • And the next milestone is 2015.

  • You're amazing.

  • Ted talk.

  • Ted talk.

  • Yeah, exactly.

  • So that happened.

  • Uh and that was a big deal as well.

  • Another big milestone.

  • I think we got a clip from it right now.

  • Here's a little bit from my ted talk from 2015, awesome.

  • I was staying at his private chalet in the Swiss ALps, in a small town called Verbier uh and this place comes complete with an ice rink spa indoor pool and an outdoor jacuzzi And I was there with 40 of my clients and colleagues celebrating a great year in the banking industry.

  • We were all from the city of London Financial Center and we were sitting back having our apparatus key drinks after having a long day on the slopes and the fireplace was roaring and the jacuzzi was steaming and you can feel the buzz of the evening as we were trying to figure out what restaurant to go to, what club to hit afterwards.

  • And I realized that I finally had everything I have been working my entire life for.

  • So there was my ted talk, my first big public speaking event.

  • Again, I'm introverted by nature.

  • This was so hard for me to do.

  • I memorized this entire talk, that's 16 minute piece.

  • I used to repeat it like 100 times.

  • I used to walk around my neighborhood at night saying my whole talk back to, back to, back to back, I knew this was an important platform and um, a few months earlier, I thought, why doesn't the host of London will have a ted talk like that's stupid.

  • And that's why I signed up for it.

  • And um, this talk was a big changing point because I could finally show the world that I had a plan and I had a vision and um, before that I never really showed that.

  • And so it was a really big moment.

  • I was super nervous.

  • Um, when I look back now, I cringe at my public speaking abilities, but at the time that was a big milestone for me, um just slowing it down and creating that whole journey.

  • Um and that talk really helped me start to recruit my team.

  • It really did, because before that it was hard to get people to join because I didn't have a vision, and in that talk I could show where we were going.

  • Mhm.
