  • Hey guys, let's come down here, we'll come back to my channel when I was in Japan a while ago, I went out to drug stores of Tokyo Creative girls.

  • My goal was to find the best Japanese makeup products where I can do a full face of makeup with.

  • How did I know or find what the best makeup products were?

  • Well, I just looked for the products with these number one stickers on them.

  • I try to find products that I haven't used before just to make it a bit more interesting and I'm also going to show you guys my first impressions and my honest opinion on all of them.

  • First off, I'm going to show you guys the footage I took of us actually shopping and buying these products and then afterwards it would be me just using their products and give you guys my first impressions just before I start this video, just want to say thank you to Tokyo Creative for making this video happen.

  • So make sure you guys check out the link down below and let's start the video.

  • Yeah.

  • First off, we are going to find some foundation that is ranked like number one or has won lots of awards in Japan.

  • So I think they're down here, This one here is really popular.

  • Let's get a primer bright up.

  • What looks like a base.

  • The thing I'm worried about is that if it's too light for me because this is like the BB Pet baby number three.

  • Okay, this is number two, I'm going to go for the darker color.

  • This is way too light for me.

  • I've got the number three and see how that goes.

  • But this up here, they kinda have to chill with the awards because how many of their 11234566 awards?

  • The magic concealer.

  • There's two different types of some invasion pink beige.

  • What do you think this?

  • No, I'm not.

  • Yeah.

  • Okay.

  • Now we're gonna find some powder made that number one title one.

  • Sure you saw something so healthy for your skin.

  • Maybe what makes the skin of my shoes?

  • And maybe I'll get So we tried this one out.

  • Now we're gonna get brown tomorrow, but I'm going to try different ones who have tried that one before.

  • What do you think of this one?

  • It was really good.

  • But the problem is now I kind of shave her eyebrows down so I have to draw them.

  • So I want to get a, I'm not good.

  • Not good enough.

  • Oh, how are these lines?

  • Oh yeah, that's the pill of taxing.

  • Uh There are a lot.

  • Sometimes you want any award so many.

  • There's so much one of the world they get to try this one.

  • Leader.

  • Yeah.

  • Okay.

  • Okay.

  • Okay.

  • Let's try this one here because this one looks like it's one Was # one at what I'm looking at a star already.

  • So there's some okay, I haven't tried these obviously yet and I'm curious to know more on a rocket down it just kind of, I guess it's kind of good, but just one.

  • I mean you want, okay, well let's get this because because we want to be extra, that's all we want to do.

  • A volume lash in a long line and I need long application lashes girl.

  • Yeah.

  • Okay.

  • So I'm gonna go for long lash.

  • Oh, this one.

  • Oh in Japan and the us.

  • I've never heard of this.

  • It looks like some random kind of random darling I've used for years, different packages dot let's try it.

  • Okay.

  • Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of japanese, but it is number one.

  • So which one?

  • I think you're right.

  • Okay, we are now in much more secure.

  • She and we are So I've used this one for three years already.

  • Can make cream cheese and then for the only one I can find unfortunately is this one can make your lip only glass.

  • Now I've used it before because everything now for makeup.

  • So first we have the Sana pore, party makeup base, bright up this space issue but has a pink tint to correct your skin to it and also brighten your complexion to be honest.

  • When I first put this on, I was a bit nervous because it made my skin look quite light.

  • It also looked a bit pink on me.

  • I have a warm undertone.

  • So I was kind of like crap when I've done it help, but honestly after putting on foundation and waiting for it to settle.

  • it actually looks quite good.

  • So I'm really happy with it.

  • I found that it just covered up my paws and it gave me that really nice blurred skin effect.

  • So it kind of makes you look like you have a filter on your face in real life.

  • Next we have the makeup of brilliant colors, moist love Oh baby max Quran.

  • This foundation is supposed to give you a natural bright matte skin finish.

  • It also has skin brightening properties and is waterproof.

  • Now I probably put on a bit too much to be honest.

  • So a little goes a long way.

  • The consistency is very thick actually.

  • So the coverage is very high.

  • I was very surprised when I started blending out the foundation.

  • It blended out so easily despite being thick.

  • But what surprised me the most was a blurring effect.

  • It gave my skin, my skin was flawless.

  • My thoughts overall was damn, this foundation is so high coverage that I didn't even, I think that I needed concealer and I have to say I'm very happy with the shade as well.

  • I got in number three Natural.

  • Oka and okay like with most japanese and korean skin products, they are still way too light for me but I feel like this is okay, kind of matches my skin pretty well.

  • Next.

  • I have the calypso magic concealer in salmon beige.

  • Now I've got this concealer because of how extra it is.

  • Look at this like I get it.

  • You want lots of awards.

  • But no, I have heard of this concealer before and it is a really good one.

  • They have two colors for this.

  • The pink fish and salmon beige.

  • The pink one is meant to be for those with lighter skin tone and the salmon one for darker.

  • So I chose the salmon one because I guess in terms of japanese standards, my skin isn't light and I attend pretty easily being in Australia.

  • So this is supposed to be a hydrating high coverage concealer that provides buildable weightless coverage and leaves an invisible smooth complexion.

  • It is ideal for all skin types and neutralizes your dark circles.

  • It also gives your skin that blurred appearance to get rid of lions, wrinkles and dark circles.

  • It has very hydrating ingredients in there such as royal jelly extract.

  • I would extract and hyaluronic acid.

  • When I blended it out I was like wow, it really brightened up the areas where I applied it very high coverage.

  • And also yeah, I found it quite hydrating once again a little goes a long way and I felt like I put a bit too much on my under eye area.

  • But seriously it did brighten it up and I feel like I can definitely keep using this for a while for overall.

  • I was very surprised with this.

  • I didn't expect it to work so well.

  • So yeah, I can definitely recommend it.

  • Next.

  • We have to sign a mineral baby powder bright up now.

  • Honestly I didn't want to put too much of this on my face because it would be way too cakey.

  • So I decided not to use the puff for that reason and use a makeup brush instead.

  • I just dusted it on areas where I needed it, mainly areas that tend to get more oily, so it would last longer as I dusted it on.

  • My under eyes are definitely caked up because okay, it's not this product's fault.

  • I did put a lot of foundation and concealer on so obviously that's why, but I felt like it did keep my makeup put all day long.

  • But to be fair with this product, it says that you can use it as a base foundation concealer and powder all in one and when you use this powder alone it does give you that blurring effect, but also keeps it quite natural.

  • But overall I did like this product, it did this job pretty well.

  • It also didn't make my face feel dry at all because of the collagen in it.

  • So if anything, it kept my face feeling hydrated.

  • Next I have the capability one day tattoo lasting eyebrow tint.

  • This product was crazy popular in south Korea a couple of years ago.

  • So when I saw in Japan I thought I'd give it a go and you know, since it's got an award, why not?

  • I got this in shade number three mocha brown.

  • Now the application of this, I thought it was quite hard to apply.

  • I have tried tents like this before and this one was quite hard to shape your brows mainly because of the brush.

  • I think it was quite soft.

  • So yeah, if you were doing the edges, um, it just kind of made it a bit messy.

  • It did come with a stencil, but I decided not to use.

  • It doesn't take long to dry up, about five minutes, but you're supposed to leave it on for about two hours.

  • So it will last longer.

  • It is recommended you leave it on overnight for it to last about a week, which will save you a lot of time during your makeup.

  • My brows take the longest for me to do during my makeup routine.

  • Now when pulling it off, I was quite impressed with the texture.

  • It filled out my eyebrows almost completely.

  • So it would save me a lot of time during my makeup routine.

  • Initially I had was that even though the eyebrows, it was dry, my hands were getting in the way so it was a bit hard to pull it off in one go.

  • I do have a lot of eyebrow hairs though, so fair enough.

  • But the issue I had with this was, it looks really red.

  • I usually like my eyebrows just being a normal life brown color.

  • So yeah, I just thought that the readiness was a bit too much for me even though I had used to 10, I still had to touch up my eyebrows a bit, but for sure it did save me a lot of time.

  • But honestly I have used better tattoo tents in the past.

  • So I mean this one's good, but just the color was a bit of pudding and yet the texture wasn't as good as the other ones I have tried but you know, if it's there, I will still use it next for our eyeshadow.

  • I have the Excel real close shadow.

  • Now when I was searching for eyeshadows, none of them had the number one whatever stickers on them.

  • So I quickly did some research on what the number one drugstore eyeshadow in Japan was and the Xo eyeshadows came up, which I wasn't really surprised about because yes, they are extremely popular and I have used them in the past now when I was doing my eyeshadows, I just kind of followed what they recommended you do on the back of the packaging.

  • But honestly speaking with japanese eyeshadows, they aren't that good compared to Western ones, they tend to be very shimmery but also quite sheer.

  • I'm used to the band pigmentation as soon as the eyeshadows touches your skin.

  • But with japanese eyeshadows, I felt like you had to keep on going, keep building it up because the color payoff isn't that great.

  • I mean, I shadows aren't completely bad.

  • Like if you are looking for a more natural look, this is perfect.

  • It's just if you want documentation than yeah, this is not the best eyeshadow.

  • If I want to pick an eyeshadow, I actually wouldn't go for any of the asian brands just because I feel like they're just not as good as western ones.

  • I always find them a lot harder to work harder to blend.

  • And also like I said pigmentation just isn't there Next for eyeliner.

  • I got the lien on any waterproof liquid.

  • Eyeliner.

  • Japanese makeup brands are known for making the best eyeliners I have tried at the majority of them and yes, I love them.

  • But I really wanted to try something that I haven't tried before and I found this one that has a number one sticker on it.

  • It says it's number one in the U.

  • S.

  • And Japan.

  • Honestly speaking, I thought the packaging was quite dodge.

  • When I first picked it up, I was like, oh I mean okay, I was judging purely by the packaging but I just found out that this is actually a limited edition packaging.

  • Anyway, this eyeliner was very smooth so it applies very easily and the great thing is that it contains beauty essence ingredients.

  • It's supposed to be bright clear eyes and also last longer as well.

  • So when I applied it it applied so smoothly a bit too smoothly actually that I accidentally over extended my line a bit too much but luckily it was quite easy to fix that I just used this makeup eraser I had and then I just continue drawing my lines.

  • But yeah, I just really liked how smooth it was.

  • Just be careful because you can't slip up quite easily with this eyeliner overall.

  • Yeah, I really liked it.

  • A good product.

  • Next is mascara.

  • So I got the calypso feather mascara long lash.

  • So Japan is very well known for their mascaras.

  • I've used the in the past for many years because they work really well on my short asian lashes.

  • So recently I haven't really been using japanese mascaras.

  • Reason being is because they are a pain in the past to remove.

  • I found that every time I tried to remove my mascara it was so difficult and my real lashes would fall out with the mascara.

  • I was trying to remove this mascara here.

  • I've never seen it before, but she was pretty extra.

  • All her awards.

  • I was like, why not?

  • Let's give her the shot just looking at it.

  • It just looks like a normal mascara.

  • I curled my lashes price using this and I was actually surprised that it was pretty good.

  • You had to do a few coats, but it did make my lashes look longer and gave me decent volume two.

  • So I found that after a few minutes it didn't really keep my kill that long.

  • So um yeah, that was a bit disappointing.

  • But this mascara is easy to remove with just hot water, which is great.

  • But the good thing is that it stays put the whole entire day.

  • I found that with a lot of western mascaras at the end of the day, I would find so much for out under my eyes that it would just give me panda eyes.

  • But this mascara does not do that.

  • So overall it's a decent mascara, not the best, but I think I'll still keep using it next I have the can make cream cheek village.

  • I bought this blush when I went to Japan for the very first time eight years ago.

  • So this is like my introduction to japanese make up and guys, since then it's still been a number one product for eight years.

  • What I find interesting by Japanese products is that they don't really change up the products that much.

  • If you compared it to Korea, Korea comes out with new products all the time.

  • But if you look at japanese makeup, most of this stuff that they are producing are exactly the same from a couple of years ago.

  • Sometimes they improve the packaging, the formula seller up, but most of them are still exactly the same, which is kind of good in a way because you know that they keep improving the product instead of just making new ones and then just kind of discarding it after.

  • But anyway, I've been using this one for quite a long time.

  • I like having it in my makeup bag because it's so small, very quick and easy to use.

  • I can't see any photos of this.

  • It's great.

  • Best of all this is so cheap as well.

  • So definitely recommend this last product is that can make your lip only gloss and I got this in number clear black, number four.

  • This was insanely popular in Japan that the black color kept on getting sold out everywhere you went.

  • Obviously it's just lip gloss so I just applied it all over my lips and then you let it set for about five minutes and the color will change depending on your body temperature after five minutes, I found that it became a little bit more pink.

  • I gotta be honest with this one though.

  • I didn't really like it that much.

  • I'm actually not a big fan of lip glosses.

  • I know they are starting to come back, but I've been sport with lip tints that last the whole day and I feel like I can't go back from that.

  • This glass comes off extremely quickly, which is a downside and yeah, like I said, I would rather my lip product last the whole entire day.

  • That's the end of this video guys.

  • Hopefully you all enjoyed it.

  • I was very impressed with some of them and disappointed in other products, but mainly the base product.

  • 100%.

  • I recommend.

  • I am so in love with how my student looks.

  • I can recommend all these products to you guys except for the eye shadow and lip gloss.
