Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles I bet that every time you see a parked sports car, you dream of taking that beauty for a thrilling ride. Am I right? But did you know there are some infrequent cars, even the wealthiest people cannot put their hands on, because there just isn't enough of them? In this video, we'll show you the top 5 rarest sports cars you'll probably never see on the road. Texas-based car manufacturer Hennessey built an absolutely gorgeous car on its 25th anniversary, called Venom GT, which owes its stunning looks to the modified Lotus Exige chassis. Its 7-liter V8 engine could produce a crazy 1,451 horsepower and 1,287 lb-ft of torque, which allowed it to go as fast as 265.7 mph. In 2013, beautiful Venom GT earned the Guinness World Record for the fastest road-legal car, as it can accelerate from 0 to 300 kph in just 13.63 seconds. Based on its attractiveness & powerful engine, the car was sold for 1.2 million dollars, but that shouldn't surprise us for such a powerhouse, and if you're a car lover, you simply can't take your eyes off this one. Aston Martin always delivers excellence with their automotive design capabilities, but there was one particular time they flexed it pretty hard. In 2009's Geneva Motor Show, they presented Aston Martin One-77 - a two-seater flagship sports car cooked with a complete carbon fiber monocoque chassis and a stunning aluminum body. The One-77 also carried a powerful engine boasting 750 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, thus achieving the maximum speed of 220mph. As the name suggests, Aston Martin built only 77 units and sold each of them for 1.6 million dollars, but one of them was later involved in a car accident, so yeah!, there are only 76 One-77s left. Speaking of car accidents, do you recall this scene from the Fast and Furious 7? Well, you finally found the car! It's Lykan HyperSport, a stunningly fast and beautiful result of collaboration between Italian and Lebanese engineers that offers a top speed of 245 mph. With the beastly twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine, the car can go from 0 to 60 mph acceleration just within 2.8 seconds! Only seven units of the exotic car were ever produced, but they did make a whopping 3.4 million dollars per piece from each sale. Suppose Jason Statham won't be shooting at you while you drive this beast, it doesn't sound like a bad deal at all. It will be an incomplete list if there's no mention of a rare Italian sports car. Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale was a vintage art produced in 1967 as a street-legal variant of another sports car, the Alfa Romeo Tipo 33. On top of its enticing look, just listen to the crazy exhaust note of this superb vehicle. It is one of the rarest cars that you may ever see on the road, as only two prototypes were ever made, and only six chassis were converted into concept cars. But wait till you hear about the next two! Back in the 90's popular car manufacturers had taken over the luxury racing car market. Therefore, to compete with these giants, Porsche came up with the Porsche 911 GT1. Porsche built this majestic car from scratch with an absolute aim to gain market share for themselves and improve the brand identity. 911 GT1 Strassenversion is a road-legal version of the vehicle that creates 537 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque while reaching the maximum speed of 191.4 mph. It is also an extremely rare car with historical significance as it is a direct predecessor to the Le Mans-winning 911 GT1-98. Even though Homologation rules required Porche to only create 25 units of the product, just 20 units of the car made it to the production. Therefore there's a higher chance that you'll be struck by lightning than you'll ever see one of these beasts on the road. Have you ever seen any of these cars in your life?
