  • Hello, everybody welcome back to Tokyo Creative Play.

  • I'm your host, Daniel And today I'm here with Sarah and Shorty and we have come to sushi sushi, no is a kitten sushi place, which means a conveyor belt sushi.

  • So you can go and take your things off the side, order things on an ipad.

  • We'll show you how it goes.

  • We're gonna go in and we're gonna do a challenge today.

  • We're gonna see who can eat the most amount of plates of sushi in one hour.

  • Oh my God.

  • Oh my God, rush sir, let's go in and get started.

  • Let's go.

  • So when you come to see us, you know, you can reserve just through a screen rather than having to talk to anybody, which is really nice or if you don't want to wait in line, you can actually reserve through an app for your phone.

  • Bring it on.

  • We made it inside, we're at our table and we have a tablet here that we can use to order things.

  • So there's a bunch of ways that you can order things.

  • You can either order them from the tablet or you can just reach out and grab them as they come past on the conveyor belt and you can find what you want rather here you're gonna wait.

  • But I kind of do like the idea of pulling it off randomly.

  • But also there's a bunch of different things on the table.

  • We have like ginger over here and soy sauce and chopsticks.

  • But also if you want wasabi because they all come without Wasabi.

  • Right?

  • Yeah, if you want wasabi you can just reach over and get a conveyor belt as well.

  • But there's heaps of different things to choose from.

  • And also you can have it in japanese, english, chinese, korean, all that kind of stuff.

  • So let's get started.

  • We have an hour and uh we're just gonna eat as much as we can.

  • I want to just say before we start.

  • I'm really confident.

  • Yeah, I'm gonna win.

  • Why?

  • Because I did not eat today.

  • I am prepared.

  • I ate a little bit in preparation because I heard if you eat nothing that your stomach gets smaller.

  • I don't know if it's true.

  • I did a small, okay.

  • I ate like a whole piece of toast with avocado, at least that's healthy and balanced.

  • But anyway, we'll find out vote now who's gonna win Me?

  • Oh, maybe me.

  • We'll see.

  • I just want to also explain the rules real quick.

  • So we have one hour, 60 minutes, but we're going to start that once we've ordered a few dishes and then have it fair to basically it's going to be the end of the amount of play to finish.

  • Like whoever finishes the most places.

  • But because some things aren't even, we were thinking maybe maybe we can all order one big thing and then the rest is plates.

  • So that sushi places you don't just get sushi, they have like lots of deep fried things and noodles and sometimes curry and deserts.

  • So there's a lot of different things you can choose from.

  • So if we actually do it like who eats the most plates?

  • You can have one plate that's like a bowl of Udon and one plate.

  • That's like a tiny sushi.

  • Yeah.

  • So it's not really that even so if we can try to even it out, maybe each get one big thing and then get sushi, we'll figure it out.

  • We'll try to keep it even.

  • Okay, let's go.

  • I'm hungry.

  • I'm going to get how you get Here is the pump one.

  • So am I cannot drink, which I'll just have hot water.

  • The difference, Yeah, I, so we'll start with three H and take it away from them.

  • You guys see anything you want?

  • Just go for it.

  • There's so many, there's so many different sections.

  • There's so much different Sushi.

  • We got all the octopus, scallops, shrimp, eel, mozzarella, pursuit on basil.

  • That's, that's italian sushi.

  • Yeah, Water snails eat more ill.

  • There's so many, I'm gonna get broiled with basil sauce are, but he's my favorite where they blow torture.

  • But I just found out at fancy sushi restaurants they don't go to really because they're like the smell of the, the gas gets in the flavor of the, I've personally never experienced that.

  • I'm going for the seasoning.

  • They do have seasonal things.

  • H season right now.

  • We're in summer said not to know.

  • Susan man, we got the summer recommendations.

  • So yeah, each season that you come, the menu is going to change.

  • Yeah, that's a really big egg.

  • May be a big mistake because it's so big.

  • Hey, Underestimate me.

  • All right, you guys ready already?

  • One hour starts now.

  • Alright, cucumber time for me every time.

  • Uh train leo.

  • I mean in strength, I have the perfect, I've um Maybe 10 ft on actually.

  • They recommended putting salt on the ramp.

  • Oh my God, it's always fresh when it comes out like it's still hot.

  • What the hell?

  • It was really hungry.

  • I'm actually really fast.

  • We, I don't know if that's gonna be my advantage though.

  • When I first came to Japan, I was kind of overwhelmed because I felt like I had to finish my flight all the time.

  • And so I had this method.

  • If I have feet really fast, I can eat more food before my body realizes that I'm full, which is not healthy.

  • Don't do this.

  • But that's my technique.

  • Oh yeah, we should have some drinks in the drinks, we have puppies, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, but an alcoholic, they have alcohol free beer, alcohol free beer for shorty.

  • I will get, I love, I love Pepsi cola.

  • I don't know why I love it when it's called Pepsi cola.

  • There's just something about that that's different to cola like Pepsi cola.

  • Do you guys eat coffee, eat sushi and sushi.

  • What?

  • You know what I'm gonna keep my stomach for the food.

  • So it sounds like basil.

  • I like, I like basil.

  • So my friends got a dog called basil.

  • So I say basil is basil now because I'm just used to call them that dog basil.

  • But originally I would say it is basil, your fake fake Aussie, there's a difference.

  • Americans.

  • See basil and british and Australian people say basil.

  • Yeah, in japanese, it's budgeted.

  • Everyone finished their through the three plates.

  • How are we feeling team?

  • Great war please.

  • But I have a confession to make what?

  • Whenever I come to sushi, I can't eat a lot of seafood.

  • So I usually just have cucumber bath and things like time ago.

  • But I usually just fill up on the copper market, which is the name for the cucumber while and I usually just have 2 to 3 plates and I'm done.

  • Then I'm gonna really push my pushing the limit.

  • You guys know about copper mucky and why it's called copper marquis cooper is like your guy.

  • It's the one with the beak and the water in his head and they love cucumbers.

  • Oh, if you ever want to catch a couple, you got a fish with a cucumber.

  • Uh my sushi confession.
