We're gonna talk about things you can do with the dog in Pasadena California last time I did a list of things to do in Los Angeles and we're getting more specific this time of things to do in Pasadena.

If you've been watching our videos, you know that we love traveling to places with their dogs and usually I travel with my dog to kuma the corgi, but she's not here with me in California right now because I actually flew here this time.

And also Candy has a new puppy named Captain.

We named him after Captain America and he is a handful.

But he's also really good puppy because we've been doing a lot in Pasadena and never plays.

You've taken him.

He's been doing really well.

Yeah, it's been great.

So here's our list of things to do with your dog in Pasadena passages in the hall may not be a place you think of visiting, but I came across it because I'm a huge parts of like van and apparently this is the City hall that parks and rec uses for their show.

So whenever you see the exterior shot of the City hall in parks and rec, it's actually the City hall here in Pasadena and I was surprised that it's also pet friendly.

So of course I decided to take Captain and Zoe there.

We saw lots of dog owners walking around there with their dogs at sunset more at sunrise time in the mornings.

But they are everywhere.

And so we absolutely loved checking out the whole place.

She was so happy and I especially loved it because they have so many great photo ops there.

So speaking of that at sunset, you will see lots of photographers there taking photos.

So just be aware if you want to take photos there is great but be aware there's gonna be lots of people definitely better to take pictures in the morning.

There's less people there.

Coffee and plants is one of our favorite coffee shops now in Pasadena because it's so cute.

Really adorable.

I love the pink thing that they did.

I love that they have all these instagram worthy spots.

Like they have the cool wall.

The inside cafe is even cute.

They have this nice bicycle outside that you can take photos of and it's very very dog friendly.

We actually met the owner while we were sitting outside and the owner just walked by and saw Zoe and got her a cappuccino just like out of the blue.

They're just like, oh hey dog get a cappuccino.

So we were talking to him for a little bit, he even tell us he was the owner to begin with.

We kind of found out as we were talking with him and he's just super genuinely friendly.

Really loves dogs.

So he gets that owners want to take dogs everywhere with them, you know.

Yeah and we're glad he stopped to chat with us because we didn't know that it was Ella's first plant based cafe, which that was interesting.

So if you're worried about feeding your dog pacino, just like a straight up like whipped cream that's pretty unhealthy there.

They serve um coconut whipped cream and also the dog biscuit they put in there is also healthy to begin cookies.

Everything there is super healthy.

I got t crystal got coffee and mighty.

It was green tea and it was good like my green tea.

So they have several different types of coffee and teas and they also have a select few fake goods to our pastries.

I'm sorry.

So that's from the good good bakery I believe it was called.

So if you want to have a little snack with some coffee or tea with your pups, this is the place to go in Pasadena.

If you're in Pasadena it's kind of part of this colorado boulevard.

It's a famous street where it's lined with restaurants, shops, cafes.

Also part of this area is called Old Pasadena and it's a beautiful location.

Um the streets are very well maintained and most of the shops there are super pet friendly um of course like dining establishments everywhere.

Usually they don't allow dogs inside but we went to stores like Athleta, what else did we go barrel?

Oh and then one place we went to that I love there is the dog bakery.

So I always get them something special there and usually I get them a frozen yogurt when we go there while on colorado boulevard, you can also stop by true Food Kitchen which is dog friendly.

It's a pretty well known restaurant.

Like if you live in the main cities, you know what true food kitchen is, but it's basically a healthy restaurant that gives you lots of gluten free options, flavors being an options.

But the special thing about this place in Pasadena is their outdoor cafe is just so beautiful.

It's like a courtyard, a little courtyard and like there's plenty of rooms for dogs to sit by you.

The servers are super friendly to your dogs, you know, they're giving water and everything, just give extra attention which Zoe loves.

So yeah, it's a fantastic place to go if you wanna, if you're with your dog shopping with your dog on colorado boulevard and you're like, I don't want to stop by somewhere and eat.

True Food Kitchen is a place to go, I want to add to that.

I actually Crystal enjoys the food there, but I really enjoy their drinks there and not just alcoholic drinks, but they're non alcoholic drinks.

They're really creative, lots of flavor and they're also really pretty, but that's what drew me to this place initially was their drinks.

If you're looking for another healthy option.

We did stop by a place called Sage and this was by just walking around, we saw that they had a really nice patio or deck for the dogs to sit outside where they can dine with us when we sat down.

They were super nice.

Got captain water right away and it's really nicely shaded.

They have fans going on.

And also the doors were open from the inside so you can still get some of the nice blair from inside because we did go in the summer and it does get hot in the summer but it is really nice and comfortable once you sit down in the shade, I ordered a pizza and it was really good for being a really healthy pizza.

I had like a cashew paste on it, zucchini and was it tomato and crystal doesn't even like tomato and she actually likes the tomato on that pizza.

That was really good.

Some fantastic pizza because of the, this whole restaurants plant based.

So it's hit or miss.

Uh we did sit by a couple that was next to us and they did say that Yeah, this restaurant's great if you get the right things because originally I did get the mac and cheese, which I love mac and cheese, but this place is just not the place to get the mac and cheese.

But again, it's plant based.

So they have to make it a certain way.

So I get that you just have to order the right things.

Pizza is the right thing to order there for sure.

And salads, salads are really good there too.

Of course we had to add ha ha among a park to our list because we absolutely love this place, We added it to our list of things to do with your dog in Los Angeles and it's actually in Pasadena.

The dogs absolutely loving here because there's lots of trials.

They could walk around lots of new smells.

There's actually horses that go on these trials to because there's like a horse stable nearby.

It's pretty well known horse trail area.

There's a really long question trail around here.

So if you're here, there's most likely you'll see horses.

We already saw like four or five of them by.

So keep on walking by.

It's also a big discolored area.

So if you play disco, this is the place to go.

It's huge.

It's actually well known.

And the, what was that?

The nation's first?

Yeah, an excellent place to come with your dog were here right now.

We're in this nicely shaded area, they have lots of trees, lots of picnic tables.

Um and it's very peaceful most of the time I would say.

And we really just love coming here.

Republic Coffee actually has been on our list, but I want to say a couple of years now, every time crystal comes and visits me, I have it on my list of places to visit, but we just actually never make it.

So this time I made it a point to go there and I felt like we've been missing out these last couple of years because oh my goodness, the pastry there.

I loved it so much that I actually bought some more to take home and the coffee is fantastic.

I actually ordered a latte that was really unique.

They put charcoal in it, so it was like a black flat, which is, I've never really seen one like that.

I really enjoyed everything there, the food, the atmosphere, the customer service is excellent.

And I love how like there's room there for your dogs to six.

So they don't have like the outside saying it's just not like those single chairs.

They have like the little couches and I love this because it makes it just more comfortable and it makes you want to stay out a little bit longer and it's a really pretty tree lined street.

Um So there's lots of shades even in the summer in the mornings.

That wasn't really nice and cool.

Like I yeah, I think I'm gonna keep going back because I really like that coffee place.

We had to add a little flour to the list because although it's a small cafe, their desserts and pastries are excellent.

We loved it so much that we went back there twice.

You can take your dogs inside, but you can't eat outdoors with your dog.

They have a few tables outside and we saw lots of people out there with their dogs and their families just eating outdoors there and we just loved everything we ordered from there.

Our favorite thing was the mochi dessert or pastry is very popular here and we can see why because we loved every single thing we ordered and that rarely happens usually when you order a bunch of different pastries.

There's at least one thing you don't like.

Not this place.

Yeah, there's no miss every single thing we had has been so good.

Like we're addicted to this place and it's rare that we go back someplace like the next day and we were just thinking about that because you were like that.

I really want to, I really want to.

Yeah, healthy spot is actually a dog store.

So yes, dogs are welcome.

But the unique thing about healthy spot is they have events throughout the year which are amazing.

Um now you might think like, oh an event, you just take your dog and you walk around the store.

Now these events, they go all out.

I mean the first time I went to one of their events, I was so surprised.

Like as soon as you walk up, they give you a little gift basket of goodies for your dog and then you walk in and like do you want to cappuccino?

Not for me, but for your dog, they didn't have some refreshments for humans to um, but then they have like a photo booth for your dog and this first event I went to, it was all free like, which I was a little bit shocked and I really, I'm getting all this stuff for free.

It's a great place to socialize your dog.

I loved it so much.

When they had the next event, I made sure to sign up for the newsletters and then the next event was even better.

It was, they had even more stuff that they gave you for free.

And then if you wanted to donate $10, they would they would have a photo booth for you.

And it's so worth it because it goes to a good dog charity.

Um, so I donated $10.

Got professional pictures of Zoe and met a lot of new dog owners and their pets and this time, oh my God, like the amount of like dog food there, they had what for free to sample.

It almost looks like human food the way they had a display.

So I thoroughly enjoy their events and I just can't wait for the next one.
