A lot of people come here.

Um But there's also another side which is called Judges are I believe is the name of the city, but that's where we stayed first and that's pretty much known for more luxurious, expensive hotels.

They still have gorgeous views there too.

But the Guardian aside there's more affordable hotels and um they have really awesome views here like this hotel specifically, it's more on a mountaintop so or a hilltop.

So then you have like a gorgeous view of all the hot air balloons which Cappadocia is known for.

So that's why me and my friend here Cathy darling traveler.

We wanted to stay here because we wanted to get the best views of the hot air balloons which happens in the mornings at around like five a.m. Because that's what time sunrise is here.

They start all the hot air balloons in the mornings.

Um We must do this morning because they canceled it because unfortunately even though they do plan on doing it every day, it depends on the weather and if if it's too windy they'll cancel it.

So they had to cancel it this morning.

So we have two more nights here at Mithra Cave Hotel and hoping to see the hot air balloons on their awesome rooftop terrace because they even have it set up so you can have a great instagram photo if you wanted to have all the cushions.

They even have the food out there for you with the table.

So I thought that was fantastic.

And then we noticed because there's a lot of hotels here and we noticed all the other hotels with the rooftops and terraces, they had it all set up for their guests to.

So I thought that was pretty cool.

Uh So anyway I'm in a cave hotel again.

Cappadocia is known for their cave hotels because they have all these cave homes.

They're known for having underground cities here from like thousands of years ago and these caves were created from volcanic eruptions and then over time with wind and erosion became like these these caves and they also call them like fairy chimneys and now they've made them into hotels.

So we're in a cave hotel now hence you know Mithra Cave Hotel.

And it is awesome.

There's so many different types of rooms here.

I mean were you going up steps?

Like it's kind of like amazed because there's so many different types of rooms that you can get.

But we got one of the bigger ones, we got a queen size bed and a twin sized bed.

And then we also have a jacuzzi in the bag.

So let me give you a tour.

So starting off we have this front area here, this is all ours and we have a nice table, they have a menu set up already in case they wanted to order some food.

Um And then out here this is what the property looks like.

I mean that's just so awesome.

So that's all natural.

All those rocks.

There was formation.

Mhm.

And then going here.

Mhm.

This is arcade room.

Yeah so they have a hygiene set here and they've been really good with sanitizing all their rooms and making sure that the rooms are clean before all the guests enter.

So they provide like mass how they provide gloves here and hand sanitizer.

So I really appreciate that they provide that stuff for you.

Here will be here are the beds.

So this is the queen size bed and that's the twin size bed over there.

Um Over here we have a tv and I was wondering what this little thing was here when you open it?

There is a digital safe.

So like a small size but I know that some important stuff in there if you need to.

And down here we have some waters, coffee, tea and there's a minibar down here as well.

Yeah with some snacks and drinks.

And then over here they have I have a really cool antique looking phone.

I guess this is how we dial the reception.

Um Then over here is a closet.

I haven't looked at this yet.

What's in here?

It's just some hangers uh some extra blanket maybe And laundry service if you need it.

Mhm.

And this is our lovely bathroom.

Yeah.

I like the sinks that they have here at these hotels.

The last hotel had a similar sink like this too.

And then over here they have, let's see they have shampoo I'm guessing, couldn't you?

Sugar.

And that's pretty good too, yep, conditioner, uh lotion soap and some Q tips.

That's not like it.

This is our stand up shower on this side and on the other side we have a Jacuzzi tub so I don't know if we're gonna use that but it looks very nice and then some extra towels up there and then you look at this that's all enclosed in a cave like this is just the coolest thing.

This is part of the reason why I want to stay in Cappadocia was because of these cool cave hotels.

Of course the hot air balloons too.

But this is just amazing.

It's just so unique.

So yeah, so that's pretty much our hotel room tour.

Um, so they have free breakfast every morning from 7 30 to 10 30 it's, you know the usual Turkish breakfast.

But they give you tons of food that you can't even finish.

But it's really good food.

And what else?

Oh, check in was great.

They let us check in really early.

I think check in time is probably like three ish.

But we got in at, I think we were able to get our, we got here at 11:30 and we were able to get our room by noon and they were very helpful.

They had car parking for us and they took all our luggage for us too because there's lots of stairs here.

So it's nice to have some help with the luggage and yeah, in a lovely rooftop area where we will be using.

Yeah.

Usually there's hot air balloons flying all around there but not happening.

Just the weather is going to be pretty bad.

It's Wendy.

If it's too windy it's dangerous.

So they already knew that uh there was thunderstorms coming or a little bit of a storm coming.

So they've canceled it today tomorrow maybe the day after.

Just bad luck.

This is the photo of area with that lovely view.

Then up here is the terrace, that's the bar and they also serve food out here.

This is where we ate last night.

You only have a couple of chairs here you um and then all those buildings, there are other hotels.

So you'll see a bunch of other terraces with their settings.

Um Even up there is a different hotel.

It looks like it's part of this hotel but it's not it's kind of like a maze here.

Um and then down there is like another set up, a photo op set up.

Um That's part of this hotel mm then go down here and there's this little cave area where it's like a little lounge area for the guests.

I thought this was really neat, it's actually warm in here.

So this is why people lived in caves because it's insulated so well but they have a nice sitting area there.

Mhm.

Mhm mm and then if you go around the corner here so it's like every corner you turn and you find something you come over here and there's another sitting area with another view.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Mhm.

Yeah.

Mhm.

This is the parking situation here, I grow on top of a hill so parking is very limited, it's very narrow streets but I believe that's our white rental car right there have another corner with some views and acute bench swing.

Someone's coming out now.

Yeah.

Yeah yeah look at that.

I'm not carrying all the birds mm It was cute.

Branch exclusives our breakfast comes with hotel.

It's like the usual Turkish breakfast.

They have like cheeses, bunch of sauces and honey.

All those little Morris to.

Oh of course yeah onion rings and fries.

That's the first I've seen that for this warrant for the morning.

Breakfast uh vegetables.

Think that's egg in there.

Some kind of egg mix and bread.

Yeah and of course you get Turkish coffee because that's what they're known for and it is a really good coffee, no tea.

Did I say Turkish coffee and then Turkish tea.

So what is that?

The eggs and bread?

Uh huh.

Yeah thank you.

So we're leaving mr cave hotel now.

We really loved staying there.

The beds were pretty comfortable.

Um Ciara was really nice, I felt it was very relaxing after you take their shower and uh oh and before we left today um we weren't gonna have time at your breakfast cause we had to leave before 7 30 when their breakfast starts.

So they asked us if you wanted something to go like oh no we don't have time but they already had something prepared to give you an apple some bread and some chocolate or I guess it's kind of like the tele like to spread on your bread.

So I think that was so nice.
