  • mhm Whatever you guys, I am Michaela J.

  • You also know me as MJ Rodriguez and maybe blockade evangelista from Post and I'm gonna be showing you my daily late night skincare routine.

  • Yeah.

  • My skincare routine consists of about, I would say maybe 5-6 steps.

  • I usually have long days on set, Long days on end.

  • I spent 18 hours, 20 hours on set.

  • So that means that makeup is on this 5K forever and I don't like makeup is on my face forever.

  • It just, it does me dirty literally.

  • So yeah, it's definitely self care.

  • I always want to make sure that I'll wake up fresh and Christine and I always want to make sure that my skin is clean.

  • The first product I usually use at night before I just like come in and drop on my clothes is this amazing product.

  • It's hydrating, it's screaming foam cleanser and it's also a makeup remover.

  • My boyfriend got me onto it.

  • I was doing this photo shoot was there all day, had makeup on my face and he showed me this and I got hooked on it and I can't stop using it, but it's great for makeup removal and also just make sure that just getting soft after it's done.

  • So I used the next product that I'm going to be using is my favorite skincare products.

  • I love them so much and they've shown me so much love and it is kills and look, it's got my name on it.

  • I use kills ultra facial cream because it's hydrating at night.

  • It just replenishes my skin after washing my face and you know, it's sometimes a little dry afterwards.

  • So I just want to make sure it's hydrated before I use my next product.

  • I try my best not to use that much because I like to like save up on product.

  • Um a lot of people overuse their products.

  • I try my best not to because I want to like save and also you don't usually need that much.

  • So I put it on my hand like this, I rub it around like so I get my hair out of my face because we don't need that and I fly like this boom.

  • And look at that.

  • Look at how hydrated it looks already.

  • That glow.

  • Isn't that what?

  • Um so number three, I am an extreme fan of kills.

  • Yes, kills this is kills creamy eye treatment or with avocado.

  • I have a big, big insecurity about the bags that are under my eyes.

  • I've had them for a long time.

  • Um when I say a long time ever since birth.

  • So, I always like to try to take care of um my bags when I get a chance to.

  • I love them though.

  • Yes, I am insecure, but I'd still do love everything about my face.

  • All right.

  • So, I put them on these fingers right here and I go under my eyes like, so, and I just massage it through.

  • Yeah, all the way up the next product.

  • I'm going to be sharing my 24 K under eye gels.

  • Now.

  • I use these in the morning and at night, as you know, like I said, a girl is worried about these girls right here.

  • So, I always want to make sure it's just tight and right under there.

  • So, I usually do this, Oh my God, you guys, this is gonna be someone.

  • I put it under my eye just like, so, so yes, I put them under my eyes like this.

  • And I usually let them like, sit all night.

  • I I was stranded on a desert island.

  • And I had only one product that I could use or like my go to product.

  • It would definitely be these eye patches right here.

  • Like it would definitely be these eye gels.

  • My routine has definitely changed over the years.

  • I was always someone who just do the regular, you know, wash my face in the morning, brush my teeth and going about my day.

  • But as I got older and became blah, blah, blah, blah, blah years old, I knew it was extremely important as a woman to make sure that my skincare was just on point.

  • And I always love how my skin glows after I put on the product.

  • So I just want to constantly keep up with that.

  • The main person who taught me about skin care.

  • God bless her.

  • So I love you Miss Rosalie Davis is my grandmother.

  • My grandmother was always big on skin care.

  • She was always big on makeup to um and she was always big on makeup removal.

  • Every single time I went over to her house, she was always removing her makeup and doing a routine.

  • She also would come to me and tell me this is what you need to do girl.

  • Like this is what you have to do it, order to make sure that your face is clean and always clean behind your ears.

  • You know, I never understood that until I got older honey.

  • It's me dirty behind those things, but we're talking about the face.

  • So we're not going to really talk about that right now with that being said, I'm going to show you guys the second to last product that I use, which I think everyone should use when they wake up in the morning when they're going out on the beach or when they go into sleep and this is Oh yeah organic coconut oil.

  • Yes baby.

  • So you probably thought that I don't use coconut oil honey.

  • I am black.

  • I am afro Latina.

  • It is important that we use coconut oil now.

  • Mean usually I use a lot, but today I'm gonna show y'all just the amount you should really use, which is this much right here.

  • Right?

  • And after I'm done with all of this, after my eyes not sinking down all the way to my like knows.

  • Thanks.

  • I just got my hands together.

  • Mm And I just press on around my forehead area and I usually wake up in the morning and I'll go back Um to go under my eyes.

  • But my eyes usually have to like wait that 20 minutes look at that.

  • Yeah.

  • Mm And it's just a great kind of cocktail mix with the other things that I used.

  • Like I said, I try not to like uh huh.

  • I try not to put too much oils are too much creams on my skin.

  • But these are great cocktails because the hydration, it just like soaks into your pores and just replenishes your pores and the coconut oil.

  • It just is a great layer for protection.

  • The last product that I use.

  • So I use this as just like to call myself to make sure that I can have a good night sleep.

  • Um it's a tincture and it's just, it's great.

  • It's a recovery concentration formula and it just spilled with botanical oils and everything.

  • It's so good.

  • So usually when there's like this much end, I try not to use a lot because it can just like it's too much.

  • So I just press a little bit back in.

  • Okay.

  • I feel like I'm a scientist.

  • I'll do one drop here.

  • I'll do one drop over here.

  • I'll do one drop over here and then I'll do one drop right here and I let them sit and I rub all over.

  • Okay?

  • And like, so there you have it.

  • All right, you guys.

  • That's it for my nighttime skincare routine.

  • Thank you guys for joining me.

  • And I'm coming into my home and you know, showing with your girl and thank you for going to bed with.

  • Mhm.

  • Mhm.

mhm Whatever you guys, I am Michaela J.
