So with all of our lives being tossed into total chaos as of late chaos, that's how you say it in Canada now chaos.

I've decided to set for myself a semi irresponsible goal.

I'd like to make a digital cookbook.

I have so many recipes that I've been putting on the internet through Martinez midnight munchies and I also have tons of new recipes.

You guys watch my instagram little videos, I'll like pop up a couple of videos about what I'm making.

Why is the semi irresponsible?

Because I do not want to make just a normal digital cookbook.

That would be too easy.

I'd like to have a cookbook that has pages that you could color.

I want to have sarcastic, inspirational quotes about how I will not be going to the gym and how, yes, I will be having another glass of wine and of course I want to have doodles.

Just so many doodles unnecessarily doodled upon.

So for this episode I'd like to show you my rough ideas, the things that I've gathered together and how I've, Sorry, I thought I put my phone on mute.

Yeah, actually my lettering skills not so good.

So I'm currently taking a course on skill shirt on how to do hand lettering and procreate like How to do the sketching and the inking.

Yeah, exactly.

Oh yes.

Have I ever made a cookbook before?

No.

Outside of just my personal recipes that I like doing a lot in a little tiny booklets.

It would be a lot easier for me to just give someone my recipes and have them published into a book.

But that's actually not the entire point as to why I want to do these videos.

The major goal of this video series is for me to go through the process of creating something.

We're so used to seeing the end goal of something that someone has created.

It can often make you feel like a huge failure.

I think that's because we don't see the person struggling, we don't actually see the process of them having days where they're like, I'm not good enough, I can't do this anymore, we only see that final product and we go, oh my God, how have they done this?

They're so great and I suck.

So each episode I'd like to kind of pull back the curtain of creation.

I want to show how I preplanned and tackle projects.

I want to show how I organize ideas and of course I want to do some doodling, I'd like to do most of these segments live so that we can engage with each other and this can kind of be like a creative community crock pot and we can all feel like we took part in this in some way.

I personally worked really well when I bounce ideas off of people and who better to bounce ideas off than my lovely community.

So if I ask you guys for an animal and you're like, you should do a giraffe making brownies, I'd be like cool beans while you're watching me doodle, bring your knitting project, bring your crochet project, work on a digital drawing while I'm drawing, bring that project for school that you said you're gonna work on, that you're not going to work on, but now you're gonna listen to me instead and not do your work, but you said you're going to do your work or just kick back and watch what's going on.

So hello and welcome to the way that my live streams are going to look this is not live right now because I'm just screen recording, but I have been spending a lot of time designing all this beautiful wallpaper, I really think that it would be nice to have a place where we can meet and hang out as a community.

That feels really chill, really calm.

I'm just going to be doodling and drawing and working on this cookbook, making different images.

I'll show you guys what it's gonna look like once we go into the drawing screen kink, okay, it's okay, this is the main screen, uh King cokie.

Uh So this is my ipad hooked up over here, so you can see, I'm just showing you some rough ideas of the cookbook stuff, but I have an entire, you know, workbook full of drawings and doodles and I'll be working on stuff like this.
