I am stopping here on a road trip on my way back to florida, back to home and it's a pet friendly hotel.

So I was able to stay with Kuma is owned by Hilton and it's a curio collection.

So it's a historic hotel as well.

The pet fee here is $50.

I believe it used to be $100 because when I was checking in I told the perception is that I have a pet with me or my daughter with me.

And he was like, okay, it's $100.

Like $100.

I thought I was, I thought it was $50 and he corrected himself was like, oh yeah, that's right, it's not $100 anymore.

So yeah, I think I used to be $100.

I also believe that used to not be dog friendly.

So now it is and I'm so thankful for that.

So around the area there's some several restaurants, a lot of the restaurants I looked up.

We're closed on Sundays.

Today is saturday, so thank goodness I can find some stuff to eat around here.

There's a park nearby where I could take her to.

And then also there's a waterfront area where you can walk around.

I saw some pictures look really beautiful.

So I want to check that out parking here.

You can do street parking Or a valet parking for $20 a night.

I decided to do valet parking because I'm not very good at fighting street parking and I just felt safer with valet parking.

Uh so I went with that route.

I just got a big bell car and loaded a mortgage on there and took everything up with Miss kuma.

I'm staying on the sixth floor and room 606 I'm right in front the elevators, which I don't really like.

So hopefully fingers crossed, I won't hear too much noise if I do, I may need to switch rooms which I really don't want to because it's a huge hassle but we'll see.

All right, so that's about all I know about this hotel.

Um So I'm just gonna give you a little hotel room tour.

It could win the bachelor so serious.

So over here is a lovely bed with lovely kuma.

I think she really likes this place because first of all she loves carpet.

She loves hotel rooms with carpet.

So she was already rubbing herself all bonus carpet.

Right baby, that makes you happy.

Right?

And then when I put it up on the bed originally, she was all smiles, but now she's back to being this serious.

Anyway, it's a king size bed with four pillows.

I did bring my own pillow.

Um but I left it in my car because I'm okay usually with Hilton pills.

Oh, that's awful.

Uh let's see.

Okay.

I think these are all like different um firmness.

So this is very, very soft, medium, firm kind of so yeah, you have some choices on the firmness of the pillow that you like, although she is, she is back to smiles.

I am so next to the bed there's two very large end tables and nice lamps, an alarm clock with two outlets and two USB ports.

The other side is basically the same but with no outlets and no alarm clock and I'm trying to turn this lamp on earlier, but it's not working so bummer because I like a lot of light in the room and hotel rooms just tend to make, they're lighting so dark for whatever reason.

Um A nice accent chair here with a little table next to it, the window.

I don't think I have much of a view anyway but it's like I can't see anything because there's like this weird stuff on it like almost like snow frost which is weird.

And then a crack in the window.

Not very luxurious like but well a large dresser console here with a big tv.

Um And then inside here is the refrigerator.

I always love a refrigerator in a hotel room.

So that was nice.

Um Then we have assurance on from Hilton saying that the room is clean and got a couple hand wipes.

He's always come in great use and an ice buckets and plastic cops Koumas bed.

That's why I brought that.

I just can't forget it.

All right so over here is the working desk and there is a cure, a coffee machine with some, we'll give it give you tea and some different types of coffee with creamer and some favorite cups, two outlets here on the lam.

This closet is locked because it's probably utility.

Um This was the entrance and at all hotel Hilton hotels.

When you check into your room, you always have this clean stay sticker on to make to ensure that your room has been cleaned and nobody else has entered.

And then when you walk in there's this awesome sliding barn door that leads to the closet and the bathroom.

So to the left is the closet already put it on my luggage in here just to start away from now.

And there's an iron and ironing board um and really dark in here, but there's several hangers and a laundry bag if you need it for laundry service.

On the other side is just a luggage wreck.

And this is the bathroom.

So here's the system.

Oh yeah so the, yeah mirror has a separate light, that's nice.

And then a stand up shower on this side.

Okay so the control is over here.

The handle over here in the shower heads on the other side.

I don't think I really see that much.

It's usually on the same side but that's that's really helpful because then you don't have to get wet when you turn it on.

I think I have this before at another hotel.

Candy mentioned something about liking that and for toiletries there is a conditioner shampoo, body lotion and that's soap um towels.

Okay so you get two sets of towels and a hairdryer.

So that was a room tour.

Very lovely room.

Very excited to sleep here tonight because kuma did not let me sleep last night.

Um, at the bed and breakfast, I stayed out so hopefully she'll be more tired tonight and I can get some good rest.
