  • Everyone knows I'm a community leader.

  • So obviously we get these opportunities to meet certain people.

  • And I have to speak for my people.

  • So the first thing everyone would ask me is So you're willing to vote for an American man to be mayor in the UK?

  • How would you answer?

  • Great question.

  • First of all, I'm British.

  • I'm in a citizen since 2000 and seven.

  • My two Children were born here.

  • I plan on being buried in this city.

  • I love London.

  • I love the city so much.

  • I named my show after at London Rio.

  • So I feel British.

  • The truth is, the current Prime minister.

  • Whatever you think of him, he was actually born in New York City.

  • Winston Churchill was half Americans.

  • Mother was America.

  • And this city of London.

  • Think about it.

  • Go back thousands of years.

  • It was made great by all of the immigrant people that came here.

  • Right?

  • I know that, right?

  • You know what I'm saying?

  • What about the Romans or the Vikings or whoever they came from all over the world that made this city great.

  • So I think the more diverse our people are, the better we get, and I just want to play my part.

  • The city's given me everything.

  • I mean, I mean everything when I got back here in 2000 and 2002, when I first came here permanently and my life was a mess and this city helped me rebuild myself.

  • And I just want to get back.

  • So I know my accent might be a little funny.

  • Uh, you know, my, uh, Michael, but my heart's in the right place, and I'm really out there, you know?

  • I mean, I'm putting my business on hold my personal life on hold everything on hold to become the next mayor.

  • You know, again, this is the worst thing I could do for my business.

  • From my media channel.

  • It's been all great, but, I mean, I'm stopping and doing this because I can't sit by and watch this current crop.

  • Politicians run the city that I love into the ground, and they're making a mess of it.

  • Look at it.

  • I mean, do you really want three more years of this?

  • Are you kidding me?

  • You heard it.

  • There first.

  • People I know who's his mouth.

  • You know what I mean.

  • It's it's dead serious.

  • As much as we think we want to stick with the old mhm, you might have to switch to the new.

  • I tell you, we need to shake this up.

  • We got to take this up with some new ideas.

  • We can do this.

  • I know we can do this and we can change the game For all the incredible work you're doing out here.

  • We can find the money to make this stuff happen.

  • I know we can in so many places.

  • Do you agree?

  • Definitely agree.

  • Definitely the stick up to 10 years already, and nothing's happened.

  • We need to shake unless.

Everyone knows I'm a community leader.
