  • There was no mention of Wilson in a letter mailed to season ticket holders.

  • The team did go out of its way to show wide receivers Tyler Lockett and D.

  • K.

  • Metcalf some love as well as new offensive coordinator Shane Waldron.

  • I mean, even going as far as to giving a shout out to the new run game coordinator Andy Dickerson.

  • I mean, Mina, you've got your head in your hands.

  • Is this a simple oversight?

  • As we now move from Dak Saga is to Russell Wilson saga.

  • Are the Seahawks sending a message to their quarterback?

  • We couldn't need Shawn Watson today.

  • We had to do Russell Wilson again.

  • Yeah, I think what I find so frustrating about this storyline is we're left with this sort of information where we're like psychoanalyzing both sides and trying to figure out where they stand and what they want.

  • It's like when your significant other is mad and they won't say why they're mad.

  • And you're kind of speculating and wondering.

  • That's how I feel about both sides, Seattle and Russell Wilson.

  • Because clearly there is some.

  • I don't wanna say bad blood, but bad feelings between both sides, so I'm gonna stick.

  • I'm gonna land on terra firma and focus on the only thing we actually know for sure.

  • Which is that Russell Wilson wants better protection.

  • That is the only thing he has articulated that Seattle can actually address.

  • And here we go.

  • We see some options for them in free agency.

  • Corey Linsley.

  • Excellent center out of Green Bay.

  • You saw Joe Turner to me earlier in New England.

  • Guard Seattle.

  • You just cleared out a bunch of cap space by releasing Carlos.

  • Done left.

  • You no longer have a pass rush, but you can get some pass protection.

  • So if I'm Seattle and I want to signal to Russell Wilson and all of us that I am trying to smooth things over, I don't need to come out and say, I love you and put you on a brochure.

  • I need to sign an offensive lineman.

  • That, to me, will be the sign that things are at least on their way to some sort of healing.

  • If they go out and devote some cap space to a guard or a center, nothing like the subliminal relationship issues getting kind of thrown out on TV Husband.

  • Hopefully, everything's Okay, Hold on.

  • Uh, how are we gonna sit here and say this isn't a big deal?

  • Like, how are we going to say that this is nothing like this is something this is like me setting my wife flowers and putting the wrong name on the card.

  • And this letter went to season ticket holders.

  • You know, what's the only thing on season ticket holders minds right now in Seattle?

  • What the heck is going on?

  • So how could they not be conscious enough to make sure that Russell was in some capacity?

  • Part of this, like this is to me, is the Is the Seahawks going for us?

  • We're not gonna play your game, man.

  • You want to play hardball, we'll play hardball to you.

  • Want to be petty and leak stuff to the to the media or have your agent throw out.

  • Teams will play hardball, too, and I'll end it with this like Russ, if you want out, stop giving the team mandate.

  • Open up all the options for your organization.

  • If you really want out, open up all the options so they can talk to Miami or they could talk to New York.

  • Who?

  • Yeah, That's like doing an NFL live video without mean Occam's or lower relative like you just don't do it, Okay, you don't get there if you do that.

  • If you do do that, that's a signal that something's wrong.

  • So he's not right, right?

  • You can leave out, Dan.

  • You can leave me out.

  • But do not do not think that Laura And do not make the mistake that the Seahawks did.

  • That signals that there's something wrong in the relationship.

  • There's an issue there if you're not including the quarterback of your team, a man that's led you to a couple of Super Bowls and he's not in the letter that you sent to season tickets.

  • That's a clear sign that you are sending a message to him, his camp, to the fans, to the organization.

  • Something is wrong here between the both sides and that right there is validation of it.

  • Mina, I want to make it clear I'm not in denial.

  • I agree with you, Adam and Dan, something is wrong.

  • I am saying to Seattle the message that you're sending, it sucks.

  • You can go ahead like like what is out there in terms of the quarterback market.

  • You ain't gonna do better in this draft or the next draft.

  • Fix this, and the way you fix it is by paying offensive line.

  • And if it's unfixable, it's unfixable.

  • I understand that.

  • But I don't think we're at that point yet.

  • Yeah, just a reminder.

  • Guys that now that the Cowboys are definitely holding onto deck, it's just the Saints, Raiders or Bears that are on his list.

  • That's been reported of teams that he could possibly go to.

  • Mina is scoffing at the Bears that that one's not allowed.

  • That can't even worse.

  • Yeah, okay, anyway, wait.

  • What did you say?

  • Mark?

  • Oh, Adam.

  • Of those three teams, which one do you think is leading?

  • Because now we're down to three.

  • Well, leading there are.

  • There are three teams alive for him.

  • Let's see how it plays out.

  • I'm not gonna say that there's a favorite in the Russell Wilson sweepstakes.

  • You know, I guess I would ask which of those teams is most likely to include Russell Wilson in a letter that it would send to its season ticket holders.

  • The bears are the most, no doubt, right?

  • Yeah.

  • I think the bears right like, I think we all make stupid decisions when we're desperate.

  • The Bears are desperate, and so the Seahawks need to realize that they can make a stupid decision.

  • But I'll go back to my point, like Russ.

  • If you really want to tell them to talk to Miami, tell them to talk to New York.

  • That makes this situation way more realistic for him if you open up the options and that could appease his desires, yeah, but that to me makes it seem like he doesn't want to leave Seattle after all.

  • Either way, there's smoke and there's fire, and there's quite a few different things going on with Russell and Seattle.
