A growing number of Americans are eager to get the coronavirus vaccine, and a majority favor putting restrictions on unvaccinated Americans when it comes to travel and public gatherings.

That's according to a new Reuters Ipsos poll released Friday.

Altogether 54% of respondents said they were very interested in getting vaccinated.

27% said they were not interested in getting vaccinated by July the fourth.

S President Joe Biden forecasts a return towards life as usual by the summer, a majority of Americans want to limit the ways unvaccinated people move about in public.

Nearly three quarters of respondents, 72% said it was important to know if the people around them were vaccinated.

62% said unvaccinated people should not be allowed to travel on airplanes.

 55% agree that unvaccinated people should not exercise in public gyms, sit in movie theaters or attend concerts and with hiring bouncing back and more Americans ready to return to offices, 60% said they wanted to work for an employer who required staff receive a coronavirus vaccine before coming back to work.
