Your username in Fortnite

is tied to your Epic Games account.

So your display name there will affect Fortnite

and any other game running via Epic.

Sign into your account on the Epic Games website.

Once logged in,

hover over your username

in the top right and select "Account" from the dropdown.

You'll land on the general page of account management.

And the first section will be your account info.

Hover over the blue edit button.

A reminder will appear

that you can only change your name once every two weeks.

Click the edit button again to begin.

Enter your new name twice,

and click the check mark to confirm the two-week

wait to change again.

Once you're ready, click confirm.

Your new name will now appear

under "Account Info," and the blue button will now be gray.

The next time you launch Fortnite,

your new name will appear in the lobby

and in your future matches.
