Fun for this list will be looking at games that have been shown off with full gameplay demos but still don't have release dates or have simply dropped off the radar.

The masquerade bloodlines to Yeah, there's hours.

Like many entries on this list, Bloodlines two is a sequel to a game that didn't do well upon it's initial release but became a cult classic, thanks to love and word of mouth from the gaming community.

When news of a true sequel with a Triple A budget behind it broke in 2019, hopes were high that it could fully deliver on the first games.

Untapped promise.

Well, since you're so obviously capable, there is something you can do for us.

However, there have been multiple delays, and in 2020 the game lost key members of its development team.

Worse.

In February 2021 Publisher Paradox Interactive announced that Hard Suit Labs was no longer working on the game, delaying it indefinitely.

We want to keep hoping, but it's hard to keep up the masquerade when the game's development is so troubled.

Now I must return to the Chantry, but we shall work together again.

That's a promise.

Number nine.

Skull and Bones.

Wait, Yeah, yeah!

Mhm.

Good pirate games are few and far between.

One of the best is Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed.

Four Black Flag and evidently, the company saw much more potential There.

In 2017, Ubisoft revealed a new tactical action game, Skull and Bones.

The Commodore changes cannons on you brace for fire, absorbing the first blow.

However, between multiple delays and rumors of productions starting over almost from scratch, there seems to be little hope of this title setting sail anytime soon.

You be soft clearly has high hopes for the franchise, having announced a TV series based on the property, so we'll just have to keep our eyes on the horizon.

Well, I'm sorry.

Number eight.

The last night.

Mhm, mhm.

Initially shown off on Microsoft's main stage at E.

3 2017.

The last night made an impression with its impressive pixel art aesthetic and Blade Runner esque world.

Yeah, yeah, The game's website still lists the game as in development as of 2021 includes a bevy of beautiful and tantalizing screen grabs and gifts of the game.

But beyond the Games reveal trailer and some additional footage.

The news coming from this promising 2.5 d platform game world is almost non existent.

Some behind the scenes drama may be to blame for the games.

Lack of updates, but without any official word.

All we can do is speculate and hope for the best.

Yeah, number seven Wild, mhm Wild just might be too ambitious for its own good.

First revealed in 2014, it's a true beast of a game, the Passion project of French designer Michelle on Cell, best known for Raman and Beyond.

Good and evil.

However, updates have been few and far between, and in 2020 and so left the project to work on another kind of wild, a real life wildlife sanctuary.

Luckily, I can use the wildlife living here.

Okay, let's attack that camp with a rabbit.

The potential of this game looked enormous, but we're not holding our breath while we wait.

Yeah, mhm, yeah.

Number six Dead Island to wait on time if you can.

Sounds good.

Now here's the plan.

There's a long list of games that were rumored to be vaporware.

Duke Nukem Forever.

The Last Guardian, The new Silent Hill game that your cousin's dad, who works at Konami swears is secretly in development.

Dead Island two is one of those games.

Yeah, yeah, no.

After Techland abandoned the property to work on Dying Light, the title has seen no less than three different developers trying to get this game out into the light of day.

Despite publisher Deep silver claiming that the game is still coming along, we're more than a little doubtful that it will ever get released.

Yeah, oh, number five, System shock three.

Mhm right?

There is no nowhere to hide despite poor sales system.

Shock two was a landmark game that amassed a cult following and had a lasting influence on first person shooters and the horror genre.

But while we did get spiritual Sequels in the form of the BioShock franchise and pray we've still been waiting for a true sequel for quite a while.

Back in 2015 other side entertainment told fans that system shock three was on the way.

There is no evil here.

Only change.

Yeah, fast forward to 2021 we're still waiting in the interim Star Breeze return the publishing rights and a dozen employees left.

Other side development has now been taken over by 10 cent.

With such a troubled history, the future is not bright for system shock.

Three.

Mm hmm, Number four over watch, too.

Look up there.

That's the command ship.

Then we know what we have to do.

Gamers were somewhat taken aback when Overwatch two was revealed at Bliss Con in 2019 due to the first games.

Continued support and popularity, but they were nonetheless excited at the prospect of more Overwatch.

It's not just no sector, a lot of lives arriving on what we do next.

We'll have to fight one city at a time.

The sequel promises story based missions, new heroes and maps and persistent player versus environment modes.

But after it's reveal alongside Diablo four.

There was almost no news for over a year at Bliss.

Con Line 2021.

Game director Jeff Kaplan announced that players could probably expect a closed Beta, but when remains a mystery, as does the Games Actual release date.

Mhm.

Mhm Number three.

Deep down, I'll go mad if I stay here another second.

Freaks overrun, you tell to Target.

Initially, one of Sony's showcase titles at the PlayStation four reveal this dungeon crawler from Capcom has since dropped off the radar, showing off with the PS four have the potential to create in terms of lighting and particle effects.

The game was one of the most exciting titles revealed at the event, but to date we still have yet to see just how deep down this game goes.

Oh, Capcom's renewal of the trademark for the game gives us hope that it might still exist in some way.

But given how much time has passed since the Games reveal and Capcom's focus on the resident evil franchise, we find our hopes slowly sinking.

Mhm.

Let me give you a little advice.

Drop it for your own sake.

Number two dying light too fighting for every useful piece of land to preserve ourselves from the terrors of the night.

There seems to be some kind of curse surrounding the follow ups to Techland's Zombie properties, initially slated for release in 2020 the game has slipped into the delayed indefinitely territory.

It's currently unknown.

Just when, exactly will get to try out our park or skills in this ambitious sequel, I think news of the games lead writer leaving the project doesn't build confidence.

But given what we've seen so far, we still have our fingers crossed.

Whether the delay was due to the ambitious nature of the games, world and narrative or the Covid 19 pandemic, we'd certainly take any news as good news moving forward before we continue.

The Games cult following grew over the years, leaving fans clamoring for a sequel after an initial teaser back in 2000 and eight.

However, beyond good and evil to more or less disappeared until Ubisoft 2017 e three presentation After eating your miraculous space chili, I have no idea what you mean.

While we've got multiple deep dives on gameplay details showing off an unparalleled level of scale, gamers are still waiting with bated breath for news of a release date.

Given the games ambition and the fact that Michelle on Cell has left the company, we worry that this title can end up getting lost among the stars.
