A bag of Cheetos helped investigators tracked down a burglary suspect, according to local media.

The suspect, Sharon Car, was arrested this week on one count of first degree burglary after police said she allegedly broke into a home through a window, though quickly left when she realized residents were still inside.

But Tulsa police officer Danny Bean said she forgot to things that Cheetos bag and water bottle.

We're not theirs and they think she probably dropped it trying to get out of the window.

The victim said Cheetos are not eaten in the home and identified sharing car as the woman believed to have broken in.

Police say Cheeto residue in cars teeth further linked her to the crime.
