The issue is, is that do you get to a point where the same voice no longer affects you positively?

If Brad Stevens lost his job today as head coach of the Boston Celtics, Brad Stevens should be one of the people at the top of the list for a new coaching job on the NBA or the collegiate level.

He's that good.

And so this is not about that.

This is about the fact that you do get to a point where does need a new voice needs to be heard in an extreme manner in an extreme manner.

There came a point in time where Dallas needed to move beyond Tom Landry.

There came a point in time where the Miami Dolphins needed to move beyond Don Shula.

The New York Knicks don't have either one of them.
