I know you're statistically or defense isn't where it was the last couple of seasons.

But what is this game kind of say for y'all's defense and what you can do defensively?

Our defense was in where it was the last couple of seasons.

I mean, statistically, Yeah, efficiency ratings and stuff like that.

What did this game do?

You think, uh, it means a lot, you know, we're able to get stops were down four points with four minutes to go, we would get stops and, um, going often make that I play, um, go down here and get to our spots.

And obviously we had good looks that we some of them are missed.

But at the end of the day, this game was stops game.

You know, we're able to just make it as tough as possible for Quiet and Paul George going down the stretch, because before that, it was, uh, it was about to get going.

Then we realized we gotta switch everything and show bodies and be active, and that's what we did available to get stops and just try to make it as tough as possible for the Jim Kozarsky.

Yes.

Um, I guess so.

When that final I shouldn't say the final play.

But the place where you finished with the dunk, how did you see that develop?

Beginning with, you know, Drew cutting around you.

And obviously, if you could walk us through toward Christmas Pass and your decision to just kind of flush it from from there, uh, it was it was a great play by coach, but But it was great execution.

Also, the play was for me, too.

Play one on one from the elbow because there wasn't, um, double teaming.

There wasn't showing her, but Ju was wide open, you know, Jewish wide open.

Uh, little basket.

Uh, he didn't take the shot.

He swing swing into a path Powers wide open.

Did not take the shot swinging two prescriptions wide open.

Did not take the shot.

And then he came back to me, and he was just re trusting another, you know, And, uh, at the end of the day, it worked.

We got a great look, and even though if we didn't get a great look, and we just moved the ball around, I would have loved it, You know, Mr Made, Because that shows that we trust one another and me trust juju, Transparent Patras.

Chris, please trust me to go all the way around.

Individually, I know it wasn't quite the final seconds, like Boston, for instance, but the two free throws, um, you know, to go up 101 1, 100.

it's been a little while since you've been in that spot.

So what did that kind of feel like, I guess, and and being in that situation and making them, uh it was good.

I was able to make one to the last game against the pelicans.

Take us up forward.

I was able to make both of them today.

The decades of one, Um, just very good.

I'm just asking my technique.

I trust myself.

Obviously, the first one I shot was able but did not really bother me.

Did not affect my confidence.

I know who I am.

I know what I do.

I know how much food is and just went to the federal line with my routine trust to my technique.

And I was able to, uh like both of them down finally, real quick.

You talked about applying what you're working on in games.

Would that spot up three in the corner, Be one of those late in the shot clock.

You're kind of sitting over there.

You get you get the ball And was that kind of an example of that of just, you know, it's not something that usually happens, but you had that conference to just take it.

Shouldn't make it any any shadow.

Take, uh, of working it.

They have never been a shot that I'd say that I have an alternate.

You guys mind that I've seen it, but I've worked on that corner three, uh, for a lot of budget shots that I don't shooting the game because I liked them within my leg.

You know, there's something that works and something that I haven't tried yet.

I don't know if it works out.

Always display.

I like everything on lines, which I know what I want to get.

I know what I'm good at.

One of those shots of I don't usually shoot.

A lot of those shots would have shot that shot in the past.

The sudden that if I have to shoot.

What was it like to end the game in the middle of the action?

Like they were just going to run PG Kwai action?

And it was just gonna be you and Chris switching everything.

So what was that like?

Because I know that's not typically kind of what you're gonna do.

Defense?

Um, you know, it felt it felt good.

You know, we were There was individual pride, you know?

I was quite pleased.

Goes on on Paul.

They were trying to switch us, but at the end of the day, we had to guard our men.

We had to get a stop.

He was 11 They had to play I so against us.

you know?

So you know, there's a pride is a good thing that, you know, personally, I love that going down the stretch.

Um, I love that I love that knowing that it says, I love that, you know, that bottle that be like its greatness?

No.

It's when you go against the best in the world and down the stretch and you're trying to get stuff and they're trying to score on you and to win the game, its greatness, greatness developing at that moment.

You know what?

We don't realize it, but, you know, that's that's That's how I take it.

Um, But as I said, I love just taking that individual supplied garden.

Are you?

Do you feel like you're getting more comfortable on the that left wing post up?

I just think of tonight you have the double, they w quick and you throw it to Chris at the top of the key.

You go try to back on Ibaka.

You feel them spin off from baseline.

It just feels like it's something that you've done before, obviously, but like it feels like since you're getting more of those reps.

You're getting more comfortable.

Does it feel the same for you?

I feel all right.

I'll say that.

I feel good.

Um, my husband, I'm I'm just I'm comfortable.

It doesn't matter if I mean that, Uh, we obviously morning that wing plays are more, uh, that win that post up area.

But even if I'm in the other one, I'm just gonna I'm okay myself.

I'm okay.

Creative.

I'm obviously I'm trying the ball over some couple of possession, or I'm not going to miss shots some of the possession, but I'm okay with it.

I'm okay with the press.

You know, I love I love getting to my spot that I love.

I'm going to the better way shot.

I love going.

Best line is quite a lot of creating.

What are my teammates?

You know, I'm just in a good place.

So our Stevenson you talked about this is a game of of stops, right?

Specifically this afternoon there was a play.

Two minutes left.

Chris was on Kauai, and it was kind of like an isolation situation.

You waited until kind of the last minute to help.

You ended up blocking the shot.

Why was that the right moment to kind of have Chris is back.

And how do you draw that line between All right, He's got it and or Oh, I need to step in.

Um, you just got to read the plane.

Sometimes she's got a camera, just got a game.

You know, obviously I know he's got him and the playing one on one.

But I know I know this kind of report.

I know he wants to go middle, and I know he wants to shoot that little Better way was comfortable with that.

I've seen him do it over and over again.

I've seen him win games against us with that shot.

Um, and I was close enough to, you know, affect affect the ball.

First of all, so it was just a gamble, you know, he could he could have read the play and pass it to Georgian soldiers put up here or three, you know, But my instinct told me to go up, and then that's what I did.

And, uh, this time it worked out, worked out a good way for us.

Maybe next time, he's not gonna work out in every way for us.

but at every day, that's what I felt was the right thing to do.

You kind of like galloped, uh, to the other side of the court.

I'm wondering, just what kind of joy did you have in that moment?

I'm sure it was more than just that one specific play I was.

I was just having fun, and that's that's my, uh, my plan going to every game.

Have fun, you know, play that are way great achievement.

But I'm just trying to have fun every possession.

And, you know, that's what I've been doing the last couple of games.

That's what I'm going to keep doing for the rest of my career.

I love being in this state of mind.

Obviously, the last play.

It felt good because we were able to go up three.

But even other place, you know, even going to the next game against them.

I'm gonna keep trying to have fun.

Congrats on the win for you guys when you look back to even a couple of weeks ago.

It was a narrative being created around this team.

You know, where you guys panicking?

Obviously, Drew holiday was It was it was just that narrative being created.

You look after losing five straight games to now putting together this string and just the performances that you put forward as well.

How much did that time kind of help you get to this where you're at right now as far as this streak and this this group that you're in right now, a person and as a team I mean, when I say this when we last five and a lot of a lot of people were panicking, Now we win 50 Nobody's talking about it.

That's how it goes, man, like gonna be.

There's gonna be lows and highs.

You just gotta keep, you know, trying to get there through adversity.

You know?

I love it, you know?

And I remember when we were five games ago when we run a five game losing streak came in here and I was positive.

I was okay with myself.

I was okay with the team.

I was in in a panic mode at all, you know, because I know that at the end of the day, this is going to helpless, like being down, being down and being able to get out of that, that you know, that deep hole that we were the you know, if nobody was feeling good and the organization finding media panic and all that being able to get out of that and now go to a 5 25 game ministry says a lot.

You know, we cannot go to the to the end of the season in the playoffs and lose 23 at all and then get to that panic mode again.

You know, we got to be able to lose three in and all foreigners or 500 telling.

It doesn't really matter.

Being able to get out of it, snap out of it.

That's what matters will be able to do this.

This is important.

This is a big list for us, like we got better than that now as a team, and we gotta keep getting better, keep creating good habits.

Uh, it's not over.

It's not.

We're not done yet.

Obviously, you might go again in the seventh game loses 10.

Hopefully not.

I don't put out there in the universe, but but we have to learn from even when you're up.

And then when you're done, you have to.

You have to keep learning, you know, and there's no panic.

There's no panic here.

Keep creating good habits, keep playing good basketball, and you just got to hope that it's all gonna work out.
