  • Vista Hermosa Natural Car Way got lucky with parking right across the the gate.

  • There is dedicated parking lot, a small one.

  • But it's on another street and we forgot to look.

  • Look at it.

  • Look forward on the map.

  • The street name.

  • So anyways, we got like, anyways and found street parking.

  • So e 11 off smooth.

  • It was like, This is so good.

  • It's Nutri.

  • Yeah, we're at the North Gate.

  • It looks like way on the other side, and the parking lot is on the other two parking spots South South Gate and West Gate have parking lots.

  • This'll is where they said the West Gate area has a lot of street parking.

  • Street parking were at Vista Hermosa Natural Park this morning, and it's supposed to be a really beautiful park thing is our first time exploring it.

  • It's right in downtown, so it's just like natural Park area surrounded by the urban buildings.

  • And, uh, you could see downtown right behind us here, uh, with Dallas, you know Ella's iconic sky scrapers and it's supposed to be like a famous bench here where a lot of people go to take a picture with, like the nice, but that was a nice view.

  • But there's also trails.

  • There's a a nice greenery space for the Children to play in.

  • And there's also like a little stream.

  • I heard Meadows.

  • Yeah.

  • So especially a super nice park.

  • Yeah, and dogs are with us too.

  • That's another reason why I wanted to come here was because we're trying to find all the dog friendly places in L.

  • A.

  • Especially during the quarantine time you wanna be outdoors?

  • So this was like a good outdoor thing to Dio.

  • It is gated, so you can only be here during, uh, operational hours, which is sunset.

  • No sunrise to sunset.

  • So I guess it changes depending on the season.

  • Um, just make sure when you park, you know, you lock your doors, get rid of any cables that's visible.

  • Um, yeah, So far it seems fine.

  • We did just see a guy walk around here with the bat, so that was interesting.

  • E don't know what the bat was.

  • Maybe it was like just practicing baseball or his swings.

  • I don't know.

  • We're in downtown l A.

  • So we're gonna go on this trial because there's a nice trail that goes all around, like, kind of in a loop.

  • So we're gonna go do that and it with Mark and calm these dogs down.

  • Okay?

  • Okay, So the park is closed 30 minutes after sunset and 30 minutes before sunrise.

  • A lot.

  • Other stuff.

  • Yeah.

  • Make sure you don't let her know.

  • Alcohol dogs must be on a leash at all times and cleaned up after we always do that.

  • And, of course, all the covert rules face coverings are required here.

  • So we're doing just that because we're gonna go on this little trail here.

  • Now, there's kind of narrow.

  • So when you pass by, people you know will be good to have your mask on people.

  • Well, let's look at that view of downtown city.

  • So many smells for them way Haven't even started the walk.

  • You ready?

  • There's a lot more to explore.

  • This is just the beginning.

  • Things is gonna take like ours.

  • Think a snake.

  • Ah, lot of you know, pet owners to bring their putts here.

  • Walk around.

  • It's very, very nice.

  • It's not, Doesn't Doesn't lovely like I'm in an English garden.

  • E look at this.

  • Some of these pretty trees a really great job here.

  • Yeah, e u it iss.

  • I went back as far as, like, five years ago with movies, so e didn't open.

  • That's pretty near like a field.

  • Yeah, it does look very new chair.

  • Like everything doesn't it doesn't look run down.

  • Yeah, well, they're just really do a great upkeep of this place.

  • Yeah, yes.

  • Way started.

  • All right, so we completed the trail.

  • Uh, Vista Hermosa Natural Park?

  • Yeah.

  • Like so long.

  • It's actually pretty sure.

  • I thought it was gonna be a much longer like route, but Luke, but it was pretty sure which is great, because we have coming with us and her little tiny legs can't handle a lot way.

  • So yeah.

  • So this part was very nice that we really liked our little walk that we did.

  • They have, like, nice open meadows, lots of benches for people to sit on.

  • They even have a Children's playground.

  • A trail that goes around the loop is really nice, and it's shaded they pretty much the entire way.

  • If I live near here, I definitely would want thio goto this park often with Kuma and so we because it's really nice and pleasant.

  • We actually talked to one couple here that has some coffee and pastries.

  • So we asked them, like What?

  • Some good places where around here Thio have some pastries and coffee because, you know, they have lots of picnic tables here, so you can really enjoy, like, breakfast or lunch here and just, like, enjoy the nature.

  • So for the pastries, she recommended Clark Street and there's coffee there.

  • But then she also suggested another place for coffee that she said is fantastic and that waas, it's called a visit or something like this stuff also wanted to say thank you to Salvador, who was doing the cleaning today at the park.

  • It's his birthday.

  • So happy birthday, Salvador.

  • Yeah, he gave us a little bit of information regarding the mountains around the park because I wanted to see the fountains.

  • And he said that due to people being inconsiderate, um, they had to shut down the water because people are washing their dogs in the water there, swimming in it.

  • And it was just clogging up the mountains.

  • Eso eventually just had to get rid of it.

  • So that kind of sex Very unfortunate.

  • So yeah, I wish people would take care of the park.

  • Better clean.

  • A very nice park if you want to.
