Nick, what's good in this room in the studio?

There have been a lot of l's this week, but you're keeping your eye on the MBA.

What has stood out to you this week?

Yeah, We saw a time exciting stuff this week on the court.

I mean, DEMAR DeRozan is the one that sticks out right away.

Hey, had a new pair of Kobe.

Six is that we're actually designed by his daughters.

I think everybody was going crazy over those.

There was a cool flower designed to those.

And it was something that I think people are really wondering.

You know what?

If we had a girl, Dad, Siri's and all the guys that loved Kobe had their daughters design a pair for them.

So that was a great one, for sure.

And then we also had Buddy heels.

Also a guy who wears Kobe pes.

He loves celebrating the Bahamas flag, so he's got some fresh Bahamas colors there.

Even though they clashed with the kings, they that's a great color way.

And I think everybody is excited to see those.

And then, of course, with Puma, you've got Lamela's who's been really hooping and headlining for Puma.

So he did a custom with Marsh.

I think the one thing he's got to figure out is it's the M B one logo.

He's wearing number two, so we'll see what he ends up doing there.

But But that was just like a highlighter pack that he's got and he's got some pink ones.

He's got some agenda ones coming as well, so it was exciting for sure.

I'm gonna go back to what Christine started this show with or this segment with.

And that is like the elves that everybody called Trophy Room came out with their exclusive Jordan's right, like the the ice out addition.

And I see it as the greatest social media marketing campaign of all time.

They got 203 100,000 people to follow him just to try to get a pair of these shoes.

Can you just explain what the heck happened?

So the theme was great.

I think that's the first thing.

The freeze out theme time back to MJ's first All Star game in 85 he was wearing the Chicago one.

So the color way is kind of a shift on that, with some icy texture to it.

But that's the first problem.

Then you had so many people excited to get him.

They only had 12,000 pairs, and then they had, like, a email raffle.

And then it was a website raffle, and it was just all over the place.

So it ended up being kind of a mess, of course.

And I think the thing that was probably most frustrating is, you know, Michael's son, Marcus Jordan owns Trophy Room.

So, you know, if Marcus can't get the launch right, I think that gave a lot of people, you know, not not too much hope in terms of how much more elsewhere coming coming with other launches, too.

So we'll see what happens.

But it was It was one of the toughest ones I've seen in a while.

Dad, Dad, we've been out of shoes.

More shoes.

Dipaula to the shoes we continue to see this month, it being Black History Month.

And I know we started this segment off with a couple kicks, Um, in homage to Kobe.

What?

But what other Black History Month shoes did you see that you like and you anticipate seeing over the next couple weeks?

Yeah.

So a lot of the Nike guys in Jordan as well they're wearing black and gold and white and gold.

This is actually the 10th anniversary of Black History Month sneakers for Nike on on the court.

So it's kind of a big deal for them bringing back that original B H M logo.

We've seen guys like you know, Katie with the KD 13 Kyrie with the Kyrie seven, and you also got a ton of guys wearing Kobe Sixes.

We also saw Anthony Davis debut what's called the Cosmic Unity, which is a new Nike shoe that's 25% sustainable, which is pretty exciting on that.

From under armor, we had Steph Curry debut The Curry eight in a Black History Month color that was actually a collaboration with the Baltimore designer named Devin Allen, who shot the iconic time cover in 2015 that I think we all remember.

So, um, it was it was an exciting month for sure, and we're still seeing some new ones pop up tonight.

We got the Mass versus the Hawks.

Luke of the Dawn versus Trigger.

Trey Jordan, Adidas.

Who are you rocking with when it comes to their shoes?

Well, I think the interesting thing for both of them is they're kind of in like a placeholder right now.

So Lucas, wearing the Jordan 35 Jordan react element or elevation to say and then trades been headlining the next level.

But trade is going to get his own signature shoe this fall, and we knows islands getting a Jordan's signature shoe.

But Luca is possibly that next guy up.

Eso It's funny because these two guys were gonna be tied throughout their career.

Obviously they were traded for each other.

They've both been just playing great since since this last year.

Being All star starters last year.

Of course, to on now, I think when it comes to sneakers, they're going to start to battle it out for the rest of their careers as well s.

So we could see both of those guys be in the faces of those brands between Adidas and Jordan going forward.
