  • We're at Vasquez Rocks Park, and it's only 45 minutes from downtown Los Angeles.

  • So we thought we should check it out because we could bring our pups with us, right?

  • She's been pomp since, like, six.

  • Just chilling until you guys already, you stop filming.

  • Uh oh, yeah.

  • It is a dog friendly park.

  • They have these cool rock formations here is like a 45 degree angle rock.

  • But these cool waves in it.

  • And it's the result of because we're on the sand Andreas fault.

  • So it's the result of like to yeah, and like with erosion and all that.

  • But I look pretty cool and you can also dio hikes around here to it crosses the Pacific Crest Trail, which is like the trail that the long distance trail that goes, that's over 2600 miles.

  • But this is just like part of it.

  • We're not gonna do much trails might go a little bit exploring, but we just mainly wanted toe see this rocks and kind of walk around with their dogs.

  • E no going E o.

  • Oh, it's very close to the parking lot.

  • I was, like, a half mile walk or something, but I feel that it was actually a couple of them.

  • There's one there.

  • There's like another one over there.

  • But if you go further down into trails and stuff with C, uh, more than desert on bond, some more interesting rock formations.

  • It's a very nice day.

  • So we're it's December.

  • It's December 5th and it's 54 degrees.

  • So it's very bright.

  • I did not feel that cold.

  • No, it feels like it's in the sixties.

  • Yeah, like I'm plus like, once you start walking, it feels even more warm.

  • So yeah, Super fantastic day school is doing great.

  • I think she's enjoying it.

  • Zoe is enjoying it so far.

  • Lots of exploring for them.

  • New smells.

  • There's a cop car that just went by there was checking out the place.

  • Everything is always wants to climb everything.

  • It looks like there's another like place you could park out here.

  • You just walked a little bit down.

  • You could get closer if you want.

  • Then here's the cool in your definitely a lot more people parking closer to the rocks.

  • Now there's a paved parking lot up front on.

  • Then there's a dirt parking lot if you go a little bit further down and this is like right next to the rocks on, uh, the cars just like come and go.

  • So far, there has been, I don't know, like, four or five cars up here.

  • Not very many.

  • It's like a Saturday morning.

  • So what?

  • A 30 ish Oh, yeah, they opened up, you know, they open from eight.

  • It's open from 8 to 5 here.

  • So we just take some pictures up front here on then.

  • Now we're gonna go around the rock and go up up that I believe that's where everybody's been going.

  • Yeah, e saw one couple go up while we're over here.

  • And then I saw them leave already.

  • Know she?

  • Yeah, e you just climb around the rocks if you want e.

  • But there was like, trails over here to you Could do if you were life.

  • Yeah.

  • They're really good for No, no girl.

  • Candy is just gonna go up there and explored the Oh, yes, you can't.

  • You get way up there a little bit difficult with the dog.

  • So I was kind of wondering the same thing, too.

  • I must have, like, losing in the cars.

  • We're gonna check out a little bit of the trail.

  • Um, a lot more people now, little kids like it's fun for them climbing up that rock, It's actually pretty easy to climb.

  • You have a good grip on your sneakers or your boots.

  • Uh, they reminded me of Went to Joshua Tree?

  • Yeah, the rocks there had a same kind of texture, texture.

  • I think this is the other side of the rock.

  • Very quiet out here because, like, most people just stay in front of the rock kind of climate, take pictures and then just kind of move on.

  • But they have, like, a lovely trial out here.

  • It looks like nobody around.

  • Yeah, there.

  • It's interesting that you see, Like, I know if you could tell us camera, but it was like you could see the highway from here, which is unusual because usually when you goto like mountainous or rocky areas, you don't really see the highway or cars.

  • Okay, well, we had a pretty great morning.

  • Have asked us rocks park.

  • The dogs really enjoyed it.

  • We like the little trail that we did.

  • Yeah, it's a very flat trail is the only difficult parts if you're actually gonna go climbing up rocks, everything else is flat.

  • E mean, we know it's easy because come back and do it fairly easily so you can do it.

  • Anybody?

  • Yeo?

  • Yeah.

  • So we love jumping up on the rocks.

  • Maybe saw some horses around.

  • Here s Oh, yeah.

  • Watch out for the horse.

  • Um, horse poo horse poo.

  • Because there's a lot of horsing around here.

  • So if your dog likes horse food, just keeping me aware.

  • Yeah, um, but yeah, it's very nice.

  • A really stayed here for a couple hours s so fast.

  • It would be a really fascinating We could have actually explore a little bit more because the trial goes on.

  • But we just did, like, a little bit of it.

  • But we do need to head back today because we had other obligations.

  • Eso We'll probably be back since the dogs really loved it, too.
