  • This will be Tom Brady's 10th trip to the Super Bowl.

  • He's 16 already.

  • Like Michael Jordan.

  • Um, Stephen A.

  • I fancy myself as the ultimate team player because I work with two divas every day, so I feel like I could speak to the subject.

  • But I'll come to you here.

  • Well, a win make Brady the greatest winner in the modern sports era.

  • Well, first of all, before I get into that, Molly would I mean, you brought up the diva.

  • I must confess and throw myself on this ward.

  • I've accepted the fact that I am a bit diva ish.

  • I'll accept that, e I'll accept it.

  • I'll accept it because you're so rich, You and Maxie e.

  • It took me a while to get to that point markets.

  • But I am there.

  • Okay, I'll accept it.

  • Alright, E Steven, I Did anybody deliver you your green smoothie yet today, or did you get your special water?

  • Because we know you don't drink out of plastic?

  • I just wanna make sure I got the great.

  • Okay, this cup right here on and I got my team, you know, the whole bit.

  • So in your whole support staff.

  • Is there?

  • Okay.

  • I just wanna make I wanna make sure you're comfortable.

  • Okay, I got it.

  • Got it.

  • Even though we won't tell the world you started ordering those green smoothies yourself, we'll keep that between us.

  • Um, on what?

  • Anyway, here's the deal.

  • Tom Brady.

  • I think if he pulls this off, guys at age 43 will be his seventh Super Bowl championship.

  • Considering all that it takes to win in the sport of football, I definitely believe that he would be this side of Bill Russell, the greatest champion in team sports history.

  • I don't think that there's any way, uh, Thio, Take that away from him now.

  • Obviously, when I think about champions, I think about Michael Jordan.

  • But I also think about the sport of basketball and how one player, if you've got the right side kick or two, how you have the power to deliver on both ends of the floor to propel your team the heights unseen.

  • That may not necessarily always be the case in football.

  • We've seen plenty of situations where there are individuals that have been great, but they're surrounded by others that really keep them down.

  • Then I think about Tom Brady, and it's not to take anything away from anybody else because I agree with Ty Law on those boys in New England when they talk about the first championship, the last championship, you know you want that because of the defense.

  • You talk about Tom Brady coming into a culture, and there was some growing pains he had to endure in order to get to where he is.

  • But it's not an accident that wherever he goes, success follows and how he's able to galvanize the troops in such a way that we no longer talk about the Joe Montana's as the greatest in the world.

  • OK, we talk about Tom Brady.

  • When I think about the great great quarterbacks in NFL history, I think about Dan Marino.

  • I think about John Elway.

  • I think about a four time Super Bowl champion and Terry Bradshaw, three time Super Bowl champion in Troy Aikman.

  • I look at Joe Montana, Steve Young, the list goes on and on and on.

  • Peyton Manning, of course, comes to mind.

  • You just look at these guys and then you see Tom Brady and this is going to be at age 43.

  • If he were to win his seventh Super Bowl championship, it would be by beating the guy that's considered the modern day go in Patrick Mahomes, who's loaded with weapons that he's loaded with.

  • If you find a way to pull this out, I don't think we'll be able to take it away from Tom Brady.

  • He'd be one of the top two greatest winners in the history of team sports, the greatest winner in the history of team sports.

  • Whether or not Tom Brady wins the Super Bowl, which would be an amazing accomplishment, is Michael Jordan.

  • I know it's boring.

  • Everybody I know it's born because Michael Jordan just means the best, right?

  • But he was the best before he was the winner.

  • He was the big.

  • He was better than than magic and Bird and everybody before he ever won a championship.

  • By his third season, he's the best player of all time.

  • No, the Michael Jordan brand is the strongest in the world in sports by a factor of a million, or whatever it is, because he was the ultimate winner.

  • Let me put it to you like this.

  • Fate of the universe on the line bowl in the hands of any American athlete ever or any athlete in the history of the world ever.

  • Who's gonna win that vote?

  • Michael Jordan in a landslide in a landslide off course, It's Jordan.

  • Do you realize that Michael Jordan, the first time he played with another All Star, took the Pistons seven games?

  • He never played with an All Star before.

  • Pippen had a migraine.

  • He wasn't an All Star That game.

  • They lost.

  • I think they would have won the championship that year, but it doesn't matter.

  • Pipping was pre prime next year.

  • Pippen hit his prime.

  • Michael Jordan, never again in a full season, ever didn't win the championship in under seven games when he was in his prime when he was playing with another All Star.

  • Never didn't win it in under seven games there.

  • No, Eli Manning's on his record.

  • Tom Brady has been amazing.

  • And if you wanna talk about the greatest leaders in the history of team sports, maybe Brady maybe wins that one.

  • He's way up there.

  • You could talk about him and Bill Russell a couple others, but in terms off the greatest winner in team sports whenever Jordan had a chance, he never lost.

  • Not Thio.

  • He didn't have a nemesis to beat him twice.

  • In the biggest game.

  • He's not six for nine or maybe seven for 10 or six for 10.

  • He's 646 six and zero with six chaos.

  • No one ever went the distance.

  • That's why he has the biggest brand in sports in the history of the planet Earth.

  • He's the biggest winner.

  • Yeah, I know.

  • For the sake of argument, you guys had to pick two different dudes.

  • But, Max, you know that's not close, man.

  • You know, you know it's way more.

  • The degree of difficulty that win the Super Bowl is way harder than it is in the n b A.

  • And that's not to take away from the greatness of NBA players and what they've been able to do.

  • The reason why, I argue LeBron is to go in the in the N B A is because he's been the common denominator for every team he's been on that has won championships.

  • But that's not the conversation Tom Brady about the play in this 10 Super Bowl man.

  • Most of the average career in the NFL this 3.5 years, I played nine total years in the NFL.

  • He's about to go to 10 Super Bowls.

  • He's about to be.

  • He's already.

  • He already has his 63 He's about to try to go get seven.

  • And then when you think about the degree of difficulty beyond what happened in New England, the degree of difficulty this year you change.

  • Teams don't have an off season, you're 43.

  • You gotta go through a season where you're trying to figure out how to play with this team and have success.

  • And you end up in the Super Bowl, not to mention the first Super Bowl ever.

  • With the home team is playing, the team is playing at their home stadium.

  • Tom Brady is responsible for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers being in the in the Super Bowl.

  • And that doesn't that doesn't equate toe what it's happening on the field as far as how well the defense has played, and they've had more of an impact as far as getting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers here in this position.

  • But you don't you think if Tom Brady wasn't a quarterback to Tampa Bay, Buccaneers will be in the Super Bowl?

This will be Tom Brady's 10th trip to the Super Bowl.
