  • - My grandma wishes that I got hurt more often on the show.

  • (groaning)

  • She keeps saying it's weak as hell.

  • (laughing)

  • (upbeat music)

  • - Gentlemen.

  • (upbeat music)

  • - Come on.

  • (upbeat music)

  • - Our moms have never met.

  • Does your mom watch the show?

  • Does your mom watch the show?

  • - My mom's a fanatic.

  • - Okay.

  • - She watches every thing that comes out,

  • she reads everyone's tweets.

  • She puts everything forward.

  • I'm gonna bring her to set next season

  • and she giggles in place like,

  • she just can't control herself.

  • She's gonna go insane.

  • Her head's gonna blow.

  • So you'll love her, her name is Pam.

  • - Okay.

  • - Yeah she is number one Yellowstone mom fan.

  • - Does your mom watch the show?

  • - Yeah my mom, Amy, watches the show religiously.

  • She's a public librarian in Lisbon, Iowa.

  • And Paramount Network very kindly donated

  • some DVDs of Yellowstone to the Lisbon Public Library.

  • My mom is yeah.

  • - Like a die hard kind of fan.

  • - Yeah she's very kind and generous in her support.

  • - My mom watches the show.

  • But then I think she seems to know so much more about

  • everybody else that I work with, somehow.

  • - Than you?

  • - Yeah like I'll get a phone call and it'll be like,

  • oh hey honey, how's it going, oh great,

  • did you see that Jeff was doing such?

  • I'm like, what are you...

  • (laughing)

  • What, how, how did you know that?

  • Ian has been out of the country, where is he going?

  • (laughing)

  • First of all, I'm good, I'm well, thank you.

  • Very happy and healthy.

  • But also sure.

  • So she follows you guys on social media.

  • - My mom does the same thing.

  • - On Instagram and Twitter and all that.

  • Which is like very sweet but then also like,

  • I don't know how to, what do you say to that?

  • - Yeah you're still trying to get her to follow you back.

  • - Right, it's just still waiting, it's pending.

  • Yeah she said it was in the mail.

  • And I was like, it doesn't work like that,

  • you just click it.

  • - Colby's mom, that's a cougar?

  • (laughing)

  • - That'll be the last time you ever

  • refer to my mom as a cougar.

  • She does like the bunkhouse thing.

  • She thinks it's a very fun kind of interactive way

  • to see a different side of the people that she also follows.

  • (clapping)

  • So she's a really big fan.

  • Always has a lot of questions about everybody on the show.

  • - Yeah my mom wants spoilers.

  • - Yeah.

  • - And I'm just not about that.

  • - You're gonna live up to the brand,

  • or I'm gonna fucking take it back, do you hear me?

  • - She's like, oh no I won't tell anyone.

  • I'm like, you're a liar.

  • - That's all you can do is tell people.

  • - Yeah it's just instant.

  • - I actually got a message the other day

  • and she was like, oh I was sitting on a plane

  • and the guy next to me is a big Yellowstone,

  • like you know thing and I was like, oh wow that's amazing.

  • (laughing)

  • - I'm okay.

  • I'm doing all right.

  • - I don't know where I'm supposed to go with that.

  • But she loves the show.

  • And it's all because she's just really happy

  • to be able to have it and of course every time

  • she brings up the fact that I met Kevin

  • when I was three or four.

  • That's always the thing.

  • Apparently when I was like four years old,

  • I was in a elevator with him,

  • and my mom had called me when she found out

  • that I was gonna be doing this thing with Kevin.

  • She's like, oh my god, you have to go up to him

  • and ask him if he remembers you.

  • Because I was holding you in my arms

  • and we were in an elevator in Hawaii

  • and he had just finished filming Waterworld.

  • For her I think it's like this weird life long thing

  • that you never imagine.

  • Like started in an elevator

  • and now here you are working on the show.

  • So apparently that's really what the key to success is.

  • Just get into an elevator at a young age.

  • - With a movie star.

  • - Yeah with a movie star and your parents.

  • - And you just never know.

  • - And then just wait.

  • - And just wait.

  • - 27 years.

  • - Yeah or longer.

  • However long it takes, just wait, something will happen.

  • (suspenseful music)

  • - Colby.

  • No horses.

  • - My grandma loves the show.

  • But I'm just gonna put it out in writing right now,

  • she wants there to be more swearing.

  • (beep) you!

  • - Shut the (beep) up.

  • - (beep) off.

  • - (beep) do it.

  • - What the (beep)!

  • And she wants there to be more explicit violence.

  • (groans)

  • (gun shots firing)

  • - This isn't the show for her then.

  • - So noted, I'm sorry grandma, I keep telling them.

  • - Pump it up, Taylor.

  • (upbeat music)

- My grandma wishes that I got hurt more often on the show.
