Miyagi has been tapped to play Whitney Houston and a new biopic about the late singer.

Titled I Wanna Dance With Somebody, the Sony Tristar Pictures film will take a look at the musician's life and legacy informed by those who knew her best.

AKI received praise and the seal of approval from Houston.

Sister in law Pat and Clive Davis, who will both serve as producers on the film, and Bohemian Rhapsody.

Screenwriter Anthony McCarten will penned the script, while Stella McGee is set to direct Wonder Woman 1984 star Chris Pine has landed his next lead role.

Pine is set to star in Paramount and the ones film adaptation of the iconic fantasy role playing game Dungeons and Dragons.

Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley are directing the movie in writing.

The screenplay, which is based on a draft by Michael Jaleo and the 1984 comedy Revenge of the Nerds, is getting a reboot.

The reboot comes from comedy duo Keith and Kenny Lucas, who will co write and star in the film, while Family Guy creator Seth McFarland is set to produce.

The original film sparked a few Sequels, including 1980 Sevens, Revenge of the Nerds, Two Nerds in Paradise and the TV movies The Next Generation and Nerds in Love.

Okay, so the never ending story changed my entire life.

It was one of the first films I remember as a kid where I got to go into this fantasy world.

I didn't have to do it in my head anymore.

I could actually watch it on screen.

And it's just so many iconic moments from the never any story just to look at the beautiful princess.

It just transfer supported me into entire new world that I never thought that I would be able to imagine.

Okay, listen, mine is the when they dunk the shoe in the dip in Who framed Roger Rabbit.

Kids movies were crazy in the 19 eighties, so I was so sad.

I don't know what this emotion is called, but it's really freaking me out, so yeah, I mean, you have to go through all the little life struggles watching the never ending story.

I feel bad for parents.

It's like, How did you if you knew what your child is gonna go through before they watched it, would you have still let them watch it?

E don't think they were ready for all those life lessons those life talks that they had to have with their kids afterwards.

It's a great pick.

You concede it to anyone that's seen that movie, we'll just We're all their emotionally at the same time.

Eso Now, if someone is looking forward to watching Wonder Woman 1984 is there another film from 1984 that you would suggest that would give you that same sort of vibe?

So, you know, this was really hard to think about because, um, there's so many films that came out in 1984 especially adventure films, and I feel like when we're watching Wonder Woman were always taken onto this new adventure, but ironically, I kind of had a tie for this bear with me.

Here it is a tie between romancing the Stone and splash Hear me out before do you judge me?

Okay, My romancing the stone is kind of like you have this duel between these two characters and kind of like one of those fish out of water.

As she's traveling to this foreign country, she doesn't know what the heck going on.

And then they're just on this crazy adventure, right?

All these crazy things happening to them is giving me adventure.

Is giving me romance, giving me love, giving me comedy at the same time.

What your things.

That you're going to find a wonder woman 1984 but also to fish out of water.

This is why I still have to say Splash with Chris Pine's character.

He's being thrust into a entirely different time that he is not used to.

And so I think that those two would be a very great pairing for preparing for the New Wonder Woman film.

What 1984 movie style do you wish they could make popular again?

So I'm torn on this as well because technically, we've already brought back Ghostbusters because I live for a great one.

Z a great jumpsuit during this pandemic is what gives me through the day of not having to fully put on real close.

But if I had to have something if one day that we can emerge out into the real world, I want to give a little purple rain.

It makes you intimidating and makes you fashion worthy.
