  • I went to grad school in New York City.

  • In America, we have very small classes and then more interactive, so that would probably take some time to get used to, uh, with a smaller classroom.

  • There's a lot more interaction, so you're expected to contribute.

  • You're expected to share your opinions, and ast first I thought, you know, or just like 10 students and I would like to hear more from the Professor because because I feel like the professor you know, knows more.

  • But then I realized it's more of the way of learning.

  • A different way of learning is that you share opinions, and sometimes you disagree, But then you learn something from your disagreement.

  • So it's very important that everybody contributes.

  • And then and then after a while, you get used to it.

  • Other things I did to help me adjust, I guess I also reach out to the International Student Office.

  • I'm not sure if business what it's called, but I think every school has an office who helps with international students.

  • Yeah, and then they will give you a lot of advice on finding apartment, picking the courses and adjusting.

  • So after I decided to go to the grass school that I was in.

  • Um, but before I actually came, there was an online session where they match you with some, uh, current students that they have.

  • And then you can ask questions, all sorts of questions, like courses and living conditions, like anything and that also really help.

  • So if you have questions about anything, I think maybe in the international office can set you up with someone who's already studying there, who's willing to help you.
