  • What do you think is next for the Trump family?

  • Is this the end or we know even in the middle?

  • What's next for that whole family?

  • Is it okay to say that I don't really give a damn?

  • I'm somewhat from some level.

  • When you started the sentence with what's next?

  • My first thought was I haven't had a haircut in a year on I'm like, but I hope you're right.

  • But, Michael, I hope you're Look at that.

  • That is beautiful.

  • But I e o e o right on that point about about Trump and not caring because my worry is my worry.

  • Is that so much?

  • Um, you know, Look, we're talking just then about news and information that there's it's a bit of a drug this sort of trump news feeds on.

  • I do hope that news organizations, media are brave enough to go.

  • It doesn't matter anymore.

  • We don't need to talk about this.

  • We don't need to talk about this.

  • He's the ex president of the United States, has been impeached twice.

  • It's done on.

  • He can shout as loud as he wants from a tiny island with a megaphone, but we will not elevate it because my worry is that that he's such sort of gold dust for so many news organizations that they will just continue doing that.

  • And it will start to affect Joe Biden's presidency on all of those things that he'll somehow claim back a new cycle.

  • No, I don't think I honestly don't think that's gonna happen.

  • I think he overplayed his hand this past week.

  • I think that he incited a cop killing mob.

  • They killed a police officer.

  • That is a bridge too far for most Americans, no matter how conservative they are.

  • And that and then another cop, another Capitol police officer the next day committed suicide.

  • And here we sit, you and I tonight when a directive has just gone out from the FBI and Homeland Security that there is going to be more of these attacks and violence this weekend and in the coming weeks in D.

  • C and across the nation look at the photos from our capital that we have to operate our democracy in a siege with with 20 years now, 21,000 national guards surrounding the city surrounding the capital surrounding neighborhoods in that we have toe isn't that a different kind of country that were used to see it in the past.

  • That's not us.

  • And I and I would say I know a lot of people saying Joe Biden, please don't do the inauguration on doors.

  • I'm saying, Yes, you have to.

  • You cannot back down to the terrorists.

  • You have to be there.

  • You will be well protected.

  • We will not let anything.

  • We will have your back.

  • But we if we let them win if they are empowered as they feel right now, tonight, they feel that's why they're going to do more of this this coming week.

  • There.

  • Emboldened by this, we have to take away that power.

  • You know, I think back in the country of your birth, I forget what it's called.

  • It was it was in July.

  • You call it, uh, something.

  • Seven.

  • It was your 9 11.

  • You know what?

  • I'm seven 77 the next day.

  • What did the Brits do?

  • Everybody back to work.

  • Everybody in school, everybody know we're not shutting down.

  • We're not gonna They're not going to tell us what to do.

  • And it was just that whole attitude off of your of your home country.

  • You had it during World War Two.

  • You had it.

  • You had it after World War Two.

  • I mean, people don't know this, but you have in Britain in national health care system, it has its flaws.

  • But everyone's covered.

  • It's the thing I'm most proud off, actually which I have become proud of it every day since I moved to America.

  • I really do.

  • Oh, you must miss it because it z But here's the thing.

  • Britain did that in 1947 48 when the whole country, the economy, the country have been bombed to smithereens, there is no economy.

  • And yet everybody said we have to take care of people when they get sick.

  • We don't have the money, for it will come up with the money.

  • We have to do this.

  • The resolve of that is so powerful and a lesson to us that we must never back down to terrorism.

  • If we do that, they win.

  • They can't win.

  • This is our democracy, and I think it xem.

  • You know, there's there's so much to learn from others around the world.

  • And, um, you know, there's the statistic that on Lee, I think 30% of Americans have a passport.

  • That's it.

  • That means 70% of us never leave the country.

  • We don't know how the rest the world lives or how it works.

  • And we need to educate ourselves about this.

  • We could learn so much.

  • Good.

  • Just you don't just go to Canada.

  • Just if we were more Canadian, like on so many levels, you know, we should just We should just take from them their right there.

  • They won't even miss it.

  • Just take their health care system.

  • You know, we've taken their comedians.

  • We've taken We could take other things from the Canadians.

  • They literally will never complain about it.

  • Uh, they'll grumble, but they will not do anything to us.

  • I think that we could be a better country if we if we learn to take care of ourselves, stand up for the things that we believe in and do not.

  • Do not let the terrorists win.

  • Joe Biden stand there proudly on our Capitol steps.

  • Just two weeks after after this terrorist attack at that Capitol building for you to stand there.

  • There's your statement.

  • There's your statement right there and then all of us Let's get Let's get back to being You know what we were trying to Because we've had this democracy that's never been fully realized.

  • Yeah, it's been, you know, we were founded.

  • We were founded in in genocide of the native people.

  • And we were This country was built sadly on the backs of slaves.

  • So way still have some ways to go.

  • I wanna have that chance to finish the democracy experiment that we've been trying for these 200 plus years.
