  • Hello, everybody.

  • And welcome to the Seaport Studios Mike Greenberg here for Get up and let's go on the clock as we will go through some of the things that we learned during this NFL season with Marcus Spears, Jeff Saturday and Dan Graziano.

  • I'm starting with you.

  • 30 seconds.

  • What did you Dan learn from this NFL season?

  • Go that the NFL can actually be flexible.

  • We think of it as this rigid set in its ways kind of league.

  • But that wasn't going to work this year with the Cove in 19 Pandemic.

  • We saw teams have meetings virtually.

  • We saw games have to be rescheduled toe literally every single day of the week.

  • Changes to the way teams can and can't bring in players from the outside.

  • They survived it.

  • They got through the regular season.

  • All 256 games played.

  • The NFL showed the ability to change when it has to.

  • I'm curious to see how many of those changes become permanent.

  • Two point extraordinarily well taken.

  • If you had told me in April, even in October, they were going to get to this point.

  • I'm not sure it would have believed you, Marcus.

  • you are next.

  • What did you learn from this NFL season?

  • 30 seconds go g along the same lines as grounds.

  • But I'm going players The resiliency of these guys.

  • I thought how difficult it must have been for the NBA players to go into a bubble and stay there for that long period of time.

  • And the NFL players also showed their grit and ability to get through the season as well, with the lead doing a good job by continuing this go through protocols.

  • And yet we have flare ups and things transpire.

  • But those guys kept their heads down.

  • They kept pushing.

  • And here we are, about to be in the wild card weekend of the NFL season.

  • So kudos to the players for dealing with all the things they had to deal with.

  • I'm with you and to their families because, you know, the sacrifices had to be enormous for all that we were able to do.

  • Jeff Saturday, you're last up 30 seconds.

  • What did you learn from this NFL season?

  • How wrong we all were about Josh Allen, You know, like big data last go talk about how he knew since week two.

  • Well, guess what?

  • All of us were talking about how the bills had to scheme around Josh Allen.

  • All of a sudden, this guy turns it around, uh, general manager being goes out and gets Stefon Diggs.

  • And this whole thing has just become a juggernaut offensively.

  • Probably the hottest offense in the NFL right now.

  • But how many experts, including myself, I've kind of written off Josh Allen.

  • His career has been resurrected.

  • Can you be comeback player of the year?

  • Even though you didn't go anywhere because this kid has played lights out all season?

  • Been very impressive.

  • Toe watch.

  • We were all wrong.

  • I'm with you.

  • I certainly was.

  • Marcus, did you see it coming?

  • How would you describe what we saw from Josh Allen this year?

  • Oh, no, I didn't see it coming.

  • Now I thought he had a tremendous amount of talented things you could work with in the NFL, so I wasn't as down.

  • But seeing this type of season, no way.

  • I thought he would have this type of season.

  • So not only shout out to him, shout out to the Buffalo Bills for bringing in digs, and Brandon, his offensive coordinator, figuring out how he thrives best.

  • Now he's playing with the swagger and the juice that you need in order to be a franchise guy.

  • I didn't see this, but I didn't write his career off.

  • E.

  • I think you're right.

  • It's a total organizational success story.

  • Marcus.

  • There's a point well taken.

  • Dan, you have their game this weekend.

  • What are you hearing coming out of there?

  • Yeah, they're They're going as well as anybody in the league going into the playoffs.

  • They feel great about the way the offense is working.

  • They have total faith in Josh Allen.

  • It's one of the great stories of the year.

  • The improvement he made.

  • He was the big question mark for that team going in.

  • But as they start the playoffs, the Bills Air is confident as any team in the NFL.

  • And a big part of that is their belief in Josh Allen, based on what he's delivered this year.

  • Yeah, they feel like the team with the best shots and knock off Kansas City of anyone in the A f C is going to.
