  • The Warrens are the heart of the core conjuring movies.

  • These aren't characters made up for the movie there, perhaps the most famous paranormal investigators in history.

  • The Warrens founded the New England Society for Psychic Research in the early fifties and were widely known for their publicized investigations, including the world famous Amityville Haunting.

  • We hope to discover if the killings had been motivated purely by anger or if, as Ronnie DeFeo testified in court, he had been under the influence of something demonic.

  • However, as is often the case with the paranormal Warren's, their methods and their findings have been met with a large degree of skepticism from the public and the scientific community.

  • Uh, what we've been called demonologist sits one name for US ghost hunters.

  • Paranormal researchers cooks.

  • Okay, wackos number nine, the parent family, right?

  • The first conjuring movie sees the Warrens investigating an old farmhouse that was recently purchased by the parent family.

  • What is it?

  • Okay again, These characters were not made up for the movie.

  • The parent family really existed.

  • They had five daughters, and they were haunted in a remote Rhode Island farmhouse.

  • Supposedly when the movie was released in 2013.

  • The oldest parent girl, Andrea, played by Shanley Caswell, was 54 years old, and she told the U.

  • S.

  • A today that the movie had many elements of truth to it.

  • Warner Brothers Studios in New Line Cinema treated very difficult subject matter with the utmost respect and decency and maturity and intelligence.

  • I could not be more pleased.

  • Lorraine Warren also worked on the movie as a consultant to ensure accuracy, ghosts or know the parent family is 100% real.

  • And they could even be seen in a special trailer for the conjuring.

  • We waited 30 years to tell our story.

  • 30 years ago, the world was not prepared for this.

  • Number eight, the happy ending.

  • Wrong.

  • Despite its numerous scares and oppressive tone, the conjuring has quite a happy ending.

  • Ed completes the exercises.

  • Um, Bathsheba is banished from the home, Caroline is saved, and the Warrens return home content in their incredible work.

  • You did good.

  • No, you did Onley.

  • It didn't end like that in real life.

  • According to the skeptical Inquirer, Roger Parent was none too happy with the involvement of the Warrens and their intrusion into his home When it came time for Caroline supposed exercises.

  • Um, Roger ended up punching ed in the face and kicking the Warrens out of his house.

  • According to Andrea Parent, her father quote considered the Warren's little sideshow a charade and called them quote a pair of two bit charlottenburg.

  • Yeah, I don't know what her problem is.

  • Number seven poltergeist activity, right?

  • Sort of.

  • Well, I got news for you, Bill.

  • Yeah.

  • I don't care what you believe in conjuring two focuses on the historic Enfield Poltergeist case.

  • More on that in a bit, as in the first conjuring.

  • Many of its scares were supposedly taken from real life events, including the classic poltergeist activity of furniture moving on its own Get back Thio.

  • And it's not just the family and the Warrens that claim to have seen something.

  • Neighbors, journalists and even responding police officers claimed to have witnessed various poltergeist activity.

  • There were claims of moving furniture, objects being tossed and thrown, and even instances of human levitation.

  • Of course, these events may have been faked by the family for publicity, but they were seen and they were most definitely reported.

  • Where do you come from?

  • I can feel the cries.

  • Number six.

  • The Crooked Man wrong.

  • One of the Sequels villains is The Crooked Man, a tall and thin man with pointy teeth and gray green skin.

  • Despite what some may believe, the Crooked Man was not a C G I creation waas Crooked Man.

  • He walks rather.

  • He was played by a man named Javier Boutiette, who suffers from a condition called Marfan syndrome.

  • This disorder results in a tall, thin stature with elongated limbs and hyper flexible joints.

  • The villain is taken from an old English nursery rhyme called There Was a Crooked Man, but there was certainly no crooked man in the rial Enfield Poltergeist case that said the character proved popular enoughto warrant a spin off number five.

  • The Enfield.

  • Haunting Right, The Enfield Poltergeist is one of the most popular instances of alleged paranormal activity taking place in London in the late seventies.

  • Dammit, you kids are principal characters here.

  • All Children and Children can be very ingenious Pranksters Number four Valek Wrong Who's that?

  • Just like the Crooked Man.

  • Valek is a Hollywood fabrication, at least in terms of the Enfield haunting.

  • When it comes to that historical event, there are two possible realities.

  • Either it was really and the Hodgson's were tormented by a ghost, or they made it all up for a laugh.

  • It certainly was not a demon who took on the forms of a nun and the crooked man.

  • Your name gives me Dominion over you demon that I do know your name file profane.

  • The key of snakes.

  • That said, Valek is a real demon mentioned in The Lesser Key of Solomon, a spell book compiled in the mid 17th century.

  • However, the Valek seen in the conjuring doesn't resemble the Valley from the grim war.

  • Number three.

  • The Warrens Museum right?

  • Keep everything locked in here.

  • Feel free to look around.

  • Just don't touch anything.

  • The room is filled with objects pertaining to their numerous investigations, including the parent family music box scene at the end of the conjuring, a supposedly self playing organ, various satanic tools and, yes, the rial.

  • Annabelle Dow.

  • This is the worst thing in here.

  • Is that job?

  • Unfortunately, the museum has since closed owing to zoning violations and unwanted visitors.

  • Number two.

  • The exercises, um, wrong.

  • As stated earlier, The rial exercises, um of Caroline Parent was very different from what's portrayed in the movie.

  • Thank you.

  • During a say onto the parent house, Carolyn's body shook, and she began mumbling.

  • What you need, you're reportedly behaved in a malicious fashion, which eventually led the nurse to the Warrens.
