  • I'm not thinking about last year.

  • Uh, it's a different team.

  • Um, you know, I'm just happy that we, uh, kept my in basket water right away.

  • Pretty much even if we lost it, Lost the game, the lead.

  • You know, we turned around, stay positive.

  • We kept playing our basketball pretty much.

  • We ran all things, and you know that.

  • That's what I'm, uh, you know, I take pride in tonight that everybody had each other's back.

  • I'm speaking positive.

  • And, you know, we kept communicating on the floor.

  • Oh, we pushed out a week.

  • What did you see from Paul in that second half?

  • When he got hot, Tai said, uh, that Paul showed him that he was unstoppable.

  • Um, got to his spot, uh, taking this time, you know, found his rhythm.

  • I'm catfishing it from there, and, uh, you know him making those shots.

  • Uh, you know what helped us?

  • But, you know, the big thing is that, you know, once they once the Lakers starts going, started throwing the ball, we stay positive, and we started getting stops.

  • And that led to Paul being a rhythm on the office of the thank you.

  • Move over to Rachel Nichols.

  • Hey, Cho.

  • I heard you say earlier about how one of your goals this year's toe have that on court chemistry.

  • How much of that did you feel out there tonight?

  • You've got some new additions.

  • I think we're still working.

  • And when I went in to approve, but, uh, like I was just saying, I just appreciate everyone staying locked in and focused and just being positive and, you know, keeping their heads up.

  • You know, once we've seen a lead going down, you know, we talk to each other.

  • We tried to figure out what was going on, and we came on the second half playing good basketball.

  • We ended the third quarter well, and I finished the fourth quarter pretty good, too.

  • So, um, that's what I take Friday.

  • Not that missile make shots.

  • How long do we communicate on the floor during our defensive jobs?

  • I mean, it just feels good out there to play bass.

  • Thanks.

  • We'll go over to tomorrow.

  • Hey, cool.

  • Congrats on the wind.

  • Um e, I just want to know you guys have, like, two seconds to two starting units, essentially with zoo coming off the bench.

  • Pat was talking about how he's a big body is not just a traditional backup, I guess.

  • What is the different?

  • What is the versatility that both units give you when it comes to shooting defense?

  • Stuff like that?

  • Um, zoos.

  • Good.

  • Uh, you know what I mean?

  • You started all last year for us throughout the regular sleep in the playoffs.

  • And, you know, he plays deepens.

  • Well, hey, does a great job of protecting the rim.

  • Um, making guys change their shots.

  • He might not get a lot of blocks, but, um, he's trying to contest the layups dunks, put his body in front of the point guards or whoever is driving the ball to the paint.

  • You know, that's big for us.

  • You have a guy like that coming off the bench and, you know, surgery, doing good job, Thio.

  • You know, I think in the past decade, he was the leading shot blocker.

  • Um, it's a little underwriting right there, but, um, you know, I think a lot of people don't know that.

  • So he's a good room.

  • Protective good big.

  • That could stress the for, um, you know, very focused out there.

  • And it's gonna go a long way.

  • We just want to keep building off.

  • Thank you.

  • We're in the Hamilton.

  • Take a walk.

  • Congrats on the win.

  • You talked a lot about just the positivity and the team chemistry.

  • Um, where do you see that continuing to develop?

  • I know it's only one game, but how do you see that continue to develop and being able Thio allow you guys to get victories especially, uh, stay poison when you when you're losing leads like that.

  • I mean, just gonna just gonna help us the longest that along as we are doing our job.

  • But we write on that board what we talk about and shoot around and, you know, limited missed aches.

  • That's what the team chemistry comes from, You know?

  • You know, when things are not going well, uh, you need that, you know, positive criticism.

  • Pretty much.

  • Um, you know, that's gonna, you know, push guys that either play better or if they are, you know, miss communicating on the floor or missing reason on either in.

  • I think it would help if everybody steps up to say something.

  • Um, but like I said, it is Game one.

  • Uh, we want to keep building on it and have the same energy night after night.

  • So, um, you know, we're not there yet.

  • It's a long season ahead of us.

  • Got time for two more.

  • We'll go too far, but first, Yeah.

  • Hey, Quiet.

  • Last season, PG had mentioned he he wanted to make your life easier as a leader.

  • And tonight really seem like that type of game where he was able to just step in and handle all the pressure.

  • What did you see from him In terms of him being a leader tonight?

  • I'm just being talkative.

  • But, I mean, just because somebody makes shots that I mean, you know, they can't leader.

  • You can't.

  • You can't just say that, um, you know what I mean?

  • You know, lasting 1000 missing shots.

  • He was still talking, communicating, playing in right away, playing deep.

  • Um, they just involved, you know, tonight his shots fail, but obviously, he is making my job easier by talking to people.

  • And, you know, like I said, given instructions, instructions on you know, Miss assignments are if we're not running the place, right?

  • Right, and on, You know, you just can't say your leader because you're making shots.

  • I don't think that's weird.

  • And Thomas, you could go ahead.

  • Hey, Kwai.

  • I just kind of wanted thio.

  • Really?

  • Get your thoughts just on what you thought about the new offense.

  • I know.

  • Tie spoke about incorporating the triangle.

  • Did you feel the movement tonight and just kind of the way that the ball was moving?

  • It wasn't sticking.

  • Yeah, I felt the movement, You know what I mean?

  • You know, we got a couple of isolations, uh, when we needed to, but for the most part, everybody is trying to play the right way.

  • You know, when you see that on the Florida balls hopping guys again, shots getting getting, you know, the shots that they want, it is great.

  • You know, just build a team commodity from there.

  • And I think, you know, we still went, went to improve at times they did get stuck like, uh, you know, it's the first game.

  • It was a quick summer for everyone.

  • And, uh, yeah, just keep going.

  • Staying focused.
