  • Andi, further news on lorry drivers from 6 a.m. Tomorrow morning, the army and NHS staff will begin the process of testing hauliers at Master Airport.

  • They'll be using the lateral flow tests rather than the PCR test, which is much faster around half on hour.

  • If the driver test negative there, they'll be free to go across to Frantz regardless of their nationality.

  • Tonight, the government has said that it will take 2 to 3 days to clear the backlog of hauliers is worth mentioning as well that the testing won't just be taking place here.

  • Now, speaking to some of the people who are in the smaller vehicles here in Dover, they are just desperate for new news about what will happen.

  • Well, I think what this has been is a very stark demonstration of just how important this trade route.
