So I think not.

I think I know that the Washington football team, they're Super Bowl window.

It opens next season, and I understand that might shock a lot of people when they don't look at that team and think their championship contender.

But that's because we're stuck in the way that we think about building teams.

Everyone thinks that you need to have a quarterback first to build your team.

I think we take for granted that the most important thing in building a team is getting players to play above the price that you're paying them.

So you just saw Chase Young.

There's Terry McLaurin and Jonathan Allen.

There are three elite players.

You put them all together.

It cost them $20 million for all three of those guys, less than $20 million.

That is less than half of what the Cowboys.

They're gonna have to pay Dak Prescott next year.

So I understand there's a question at the quarterback spot.

They also have a good running back and their offensive line run blocks.

Well, it is about averages faras pass blocking is concerned, so they're not a perfect team.

But they have so much cap room and flexibility because they're getting players toe outperform their contracts and to make some key additions next year in the draft and free agency.

They should be Super Bowl contenders within the contract of Chase Young In particular, I totally agree they're built very similarly to the way the 40 Niners were, and that team went to the Super Bowl a year ago.

The big question, though, Dominique is.

Who will their quarterback beat?

If in your Super Bowl scenario, are they bringing in someone young, or are they going out and getting a veteran to come in and complete the picture?

Yeah, in my imagination, they're gonna have to go get a veteran, and it seems like some will be available.

I think what Alex Smith has done so far this year is incredibly impressive.

Playing on almost ostensibly one leg, it's been outstanding, but he isn't very good, like he's not taking to the next level in the quarterback that they drafted a couple of years ago.

He's I mean, he qualifies as a bus based on its production right now, so they don't have the quarterback in the building right now.

They're going to need upgrade their, But I don't believe they need an elite guy.

They need someone in there to not make mistakes and make one or two big plays a game and focus on that defense and guy like Terry MacLaurin, who people are starting getting to know his name.

But if he had a good quarterback, we would all be talking about him as one of the best receivers in the game.

And Gibson's a good running back to super Quick d what you're buying it.

You're buying Washington next year becomes, ah, sneaky, interesting Super Bowl team.

Mhm, I do.

I think they're building in the right way and you look at the Washington Redskins.

I mean, they're they're front four is about as good as anyone.

Uh, it kind of reminds me of like when when I came to the Jets greeny, we bet we had the officer line.

We had the defense way drafted Mark Sanchez, and then we went on the run.

I think the Washington Redskins could do something similar to that, and Dan Graziano quickly.

Is there any How will we get a sense of who that quarterback might be right?

There should be a little bit of a game of musical chairs, and there could be some interesting veterans out there that they might try and make a run at.

Yeah, I mean, look, there's no doubt about it.

I mean, Alex Smith could be the guy, right?

I mean, he's performed well this year for them.

They obviously like having him around what would be the reason not to run it back with him if they finished the season strong.

So, yeah, your point about the 40 Niners is well taken.
