  • What were your thoughts on the addition of Gordon Hayward Just a few days after you were drafted.

  • And how have you have you interacted with him before?

  • I mean, he's a cool person, man.

  • But I was curious with today being your first MBA practice, or was it business as usual?

  • Or where, whether moments or an instance that you went Whoa, this is different than anything you've ever experienced from a you know, on on court thing or practice that sort of thing.

  • Yeah, business as usual, you know his basketball.

  • So definitely this business favorite part, perhaps about today, pretty much just being here.

  • At what point did you Maybe maybe this is a long time ago.

  • What point did you maybe not fall in love with wanting to be a basketball player, but in love with the work that is going to take to get to that point man at a very young age?

  • I mean, my pops put it in my head is gonna be the best.

  • Obviously gotta work.

  • It's not just gonna, you know, not just gonna come.

  • So at a very young age, I mean, ever since I've been playing I know you gotta work hard.

  • So pretty much.

  • Whenever I started playing, I feel like he's gonna wreck ale Melo, Rip Canal.

  • The Charlotte Observer JB was talking about how you know this incredibly compressed schedule.

  • It really isn't fair toe.

  • The rookies.

  • You don't aren't getting the normal three months between when you're getting drafted to start a camp to sort of a classmate.

  • Um, has anything been particularly challenging as faras You fitting in getting to know people getting up to speed on their on their tactics is what if there was anything that's been G.

  • This is this is would be a lot easier if I had three months to do this.

  • Yeah.

  • So now that I'm here, I feel like I've been working for my whole life.

  • How's it been Just your time in North Carolina, just linking up with other Hoopers and just kind of learning the state, learning what's going around here and just being able to just practice with different people.

  • So you know the connection already there.

  • So, yeah, I'm just spending some time.

  • Especially with jump shooting and passing the first day working with Gordon for sure.

  • And then how I feel.

  • I felt great out there like I usually do.

  • A lot of the coaches, the coaches and teammates have basically giving you process in terms.

  • Your first impression.

  • So far, they've said that you have great work ethic that you are, you know, somebody actually look forward coming and seeing every day.

  • What's that mean for you to hear your new teammates?

  • And your coach is talking about you?

  • The positive light just just being there.

  • So such a short period of time.

  • I mean, I appreciate I appreciate it.

  • I mean, thank thankful for it, but then today I'm just being me.
