You're depressed because you're not doing with yourself.

You don't find inspiration by not living in the grip of life.

You need to live in the grip of life to find inspiration.

Put challenges in front of yourself when you put a challenge in front of yourself and you attack it.

That's when you find inspiration trying to be 10% better than you were last week.

So if you wanted 30 miles a week 1 33 if you're swimming 500 m 25 50 and some of you aren't doing your 10% just getting off the couch, the more you walk away from accountability, the weaker you become.

You can't find yourself by doing nothing.

So I said if I could just walk one more mile after being in the worst shape my entire life, this would change everything for me mentally, going forward from this kid who came from dirt, nothing who couldn't read until he was a junior in high school and is now here I went.

I said, room me back in about one more model.

Maybe I could walk another mile at my 81 extra click.

That means that you're not gonna make the time when your mind knows it's not going to quit.

When your mind knows it's not going to quit, your body will adapt to whatever is in front of it.

I end up 20 more miles 100 and one miles in 19 hours and six minutes.

Wasn't Delta Force putting that crap went through.

That forever changed my life to know that we as human beings are capable of anything way don't need any special kind of parents or tools to get there.

One thing that changed my life is my grandfather told me you're going nowhere in your life not being anything as bad as that hurt me.

You got me and put my head on my ass so long to stay hard, have a thick skin and do what's right.

You have to be willing toe outwork everybody in the world and that that that's the hard part.

You're gonna end up with this magical world.

So let's say it's day one of a job interview.

You've been preparing for weeks and weeks and weeks.

You show up and you bring your best self at a couple of months.

You start showing up to work A little later.

Your minds getting softer repetition every day.

Most important conversation is the one you have with yourself.

You wake up with it, you walk around with it, you go to bed with it.

Like if you don't look good, I have to find a kind way of saying I don't like your shirt.

If that's approach you're looking for, that book is not for you.

The conversation had to be a really honest conversation in the accountability mirror.

Not like Hey, you know, even learn disability.

No, I cannot read 1/4 grade reading level.

I'm struggling, and sometimes I call myself stupid.

Sometimes you act on it Good, sometimes bad.

That person in your head that's talking that to you until you change the internal dialogue in your head until you callous over the victim's mentality that the world is out to get you because of you are the only you gotta change that.

E once had that mentality that no one understands what I'm going through.
