Actor David Prowse, who played Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy, has died aged 85.

His agent confirmed on Sunday that he passed away after a short illness.

A weight lifter turned actor Prowse was best known for his role is Luke Skywalker's father, who wore the iconic black suit in the original trilogy from 1977 to 1983.

Speaking in 2015, Prowse said he'd have loved to have been involved in Disney's Reboot off the films so It Z gonna continue is gonna continue the Star Wars saga for quite a few years.
