  • Lost for Words is made up of a Siris of portrait shot by Rankin on features a range of people superimposed onto images of their deceased loved ones.

  • The photos air accompanied by video interviews.

  • Some of the portrait are well known.

  • Others are not, such as Wieder Wickham Iraqna, a mother of four from London, she lost her 17 year old son to coronavirus earlier this year because I think the key to dealing with grief is communication.

  • I think you can't hide grief in a box and close it up and put it away.

  • It's always going to stay with you.

  • Rankin, who made his name in the nineties co founding Dazed and Confused magazine, hopes his project will give people a safe space to think and talk about death.
