  • You arrested up from our little excursion last weekend?

  • Yes, it's taken a while, but I'm back into the groove now.

  • I should tell people what I'm talking about.

  • Ladies and gentlemen, we all know.

  • Last week, David Letterman took his show toe Los Angeles for a week, and they did all their shows there.

  • And there's a lot of promotion and hype about it this week.

  • Jay Leno is in Las Vegas on.

  • He's been doing shows there, and it's a big deal.

  • And, uh, well, anyway, we wanted to do something special on our show.

  • We wanted to go somewhere and kind of do something fun.

  • Unfortunately, we're 12.

  • 30 show, and, uh, we didn't have enough money to actually sent.

  • Well, you laugh.

  • But to me, to me, it's more sad than funny, but we wanted to send the show.

  • You know, we couldn't send the whole show somewhere.

  • No, because we didn't have the scratch to go there, But anyway, the network agreed.

  • So let me and Andy take a camera crew just for a weekend, go to Hawaii for a remote segment.

  • That's right.

  • It was really We're really thankful we should thank them for letting us do it because it was quite a bit of money.

  • Yeah, it was.

  • It was a lot of money, a lot of money for you and I to go to Hawaii for the weekend.

  • And it was actually nice because, you know, it was nice to get away, and it's a little chilly in New York right now.

  • It was really nice to get Thio Hawaii, and, well, anyway, we film this remote so that our show could kind of go somewhere to and well, Liz, why don't you show him?

  • And in my trip to the beautiful island of Hawaii, can you roll the tape, please?

  • Saturday morning, Andy and I took off from New York City's LaGuardia Airport, leaving behind the Gotham City's cold and rain for the promise of Hawaii's endless sunshine.

  • It was a long, exhausting flight on an airline that's been out of business for 10 years.

  • When we caught our first glimpse of the island's below, we knew it would be worth it.

  • Next stop.

  • Y um a A beach.

  • Aloha, Hawaii.

  • No way.

  • We're going back to the fans.

  • Oh, man.

  • Okay.

  • Yeah, We're probably too hot for him.

  • It's a scorcher.

  • Yeah, right.

  • It is pretty hot.

  • And yeah, you know, in fact, it Zo hot that maybe we should wear some protective clothing.

  • Like pants and coat.

  • Okay, lets go.

  • Get some who?

  • You know, Andy Hawaii is known for its assortment of luxury resort hotels.

  • Really?

  • Yeah.

  • Well, I look there, There's the Mon Alani.

  • There's the white key.

  • Sheraton.

  • Uh huh.

  • And that last one right there is the Diamondback Hilton.

  • Wow.

  • I understand that those air really swanky.

  • You're beautiful.

  • I tell you, the best thing about coming to Hawaii is getting away from the city.

  • Oh, no kidding.

  • It's It's so easy to relax here.

  • It's like it's like paradise.

  • Really.

  • It really is all the lush education and all the natural beauty.

  • It's really great.

  • It's beautiful.

  • I can't wait to go out and try some surfing.

  • I've never been surfing before.

  • Yeah, I can't wait to try some of those tropical drinks like a little umbrella, man.

  • That'll be great.

  • Just laid back at a hammock and just sip away.

  • So I guess you guys need to get back to chasing those bad guys.

  • Yeah, we better go get the helicopter.

  • Sometimes there could be too much of a good thing.

  • Andy and I had grown tired of Hawaii's beauty and lushness, so we decided it was time to go back to New York City.

  • Well, Andy, how'd you like Hawaii?

  • It was the greatest.

  • Yeah, and say nothing beats first class.

  • You could say that again.

  • Way.

  • Oh, wait.

  • That was fun on again.
