  • Well, I think we're gonna see pretty much the same thing we saw this morning.

  • I think the fact that thes guys would go through the Walmart processes, they're gonna they're gonna get ready to go out there.

  • Obviously.

  • Early call for these guys, you know, 4, 35 o'clock in the morning.

  • But the key is that it's gonna be a little bit cooler.

  • I mean, they're talking 56.

  • Maybe tomorrow morning today is probably 65 66.

  • That's the big difference going down there starting and got, remember, 11, 12, 13.

  • There's not gonna be a lot of sun down there early either, because there's so many trees around that area, so it's gonna stay cool for a while, so it's gonna take a great warm up and then, uh, you know, guys like Tigers Group, they're standing on the top of the 11th fairway.

  • That's the hard shot going in the first one.

  • The day.

  • All right, let's show you how we got to this point on Friday again, some players had to complete their first rounds Friday morning.

  • Tiger was not of that group.

  • He started late in the afternoon after bogey free 468 on Thursday and almost made eagle here and the number two.

  • These bunkers are very difficult to spin the ball out of the reason he was able.

  • There is enough of a knob slope off of a very good lie.

  • And then here par putt on the very next hole at number three.

  • And that will be the first bogey Tigers made so far in 2020.

  • And the key is that he had a very makable birdie putt up the hill.

  • Now after a tee shot in the right hand.

  • Ruffin, this is the seventh.

  • You're only thing you're trying to do here is get it into the bunker.

  • And if you get it far enough up into the bunker to be in the upslope.

  • Awesome, like he was back at the second, did not have that luxury, though.

  • And ball above the whole Thursday.

  • Tiger said the cuts weren't breaking as much early on the little thing, bringing more than he was expecting.

  • Well, that one, I think he hit that on the line he wanted, took a little bobble along the way and didn't go in.

  • But the beautiful thing You've got a power five Coming up next.

  • Just show the green into really plays.

  • A classy little pitch shot here.

  • Lance, a soft, not a lot of spin, just lets it roll out.

  • Tap in birdie gets it back to even par for the day.

  • So again, Tiger did play 10 holes, hit his tee shot on 11.

  • He will play that first shot from the left of the fairway, Atsu, 7 30 tomorrow morning.

  • Dustin Johnson was in a tie for the lead when he started his second round and was looking Andy toe.

  • Push it deep.

  • At one point, he had it to 10 under par a couple of bogeys, but come into the ninth.

  • Another chance for birdie.

  • Really a nice way to finish the day you never see is many great shots to this hole location and nine as we've seen this this year because the soft conditions quick cut down the hill rolls it right in the middle.

  • Nice way to finish the day.

  • Nine straight rounds under par here at the Masters for Dustin Johnson.

  • Obviously, I felt like I played a little bit better than my position right now.

  • Um, but, you know, I'm still happy happy with way.

  • I'm swinging it.

  • You know how I'm controlling the golf ball and you know everything I'm doing, you know, rolling the putter good.

  • Just hopefully can see a few more going over the weekend.

  • You know, I like where I'm at.

  • I like my position, no matter you.

  • Obviously, I felt like I'll be somewhere around the lead, probably not in the lead, but within a few shots at least and and a good position heading into the weekend.

  • So D J has the lead, as of right now.

  • Justin Thomas seeking his 1st 36 hole lead at the major he led after the first round of wing foot a couple of weeks ago.

  • Thistles shot of the 16 till he owns this whole.

  • He understands how to use this slope as well as anybody hit a great shot, finishing up the morning around in here in the afternoon.

  • Beautifully done.

  • That's an Eaves birdie, right?

  • I think I could make that puck.

  • Justin thought for a second chance to maybe making a stare at the par 3/16 but he would have to settle for a birdie and then here his last hole, another birdie attempt to join Dustin Johnson at the lead over his last five rounds here at the Masters.

  • JT scoring average 68.4.

  • He goes into the weekend right now, top of the leaderboard, but I know the golf course.

  • I know what to do, What not to do.

  • I know, like the subtle nuances.

  • I just simply haven't executed it and performed it well, You kind of not kind of you have tow, really throw all past knowledge out the window.

  • This week is weird as it is.

  • I mean, a lot of the history and things you know about the golf course can sometimes hurt you this week just because of what you're used to.

  • But at the end of the day, it is a lot softer and a lot more.

  • Score.

  • Herbal, obviously.

  • But yeah, it really has just come down to executing a little bit better and minimizing the mistakes.

  • Well, it's a four way tie right now at minus nine, and Abraham answer is in that mix.

  • The 29 year old making his Masters debut.

  • He got two runner up finishes in the calendar year of 2020.

  • On this kid.

  • He's got some game.

  • Well, if you remember back to the President's Cup ah, year ago, where he made pot after pot after pot, he went 31 and one, and the only match you lost was the singles to Tiger rolls the ball beautifully, doesn't get very excited, keeps the ball in play.

  • And when you have a lot of circles on your car, that's a really good thing.

  • He shot a five under 67 in the second round to get to minus nine.

  • And how about Cameron Smith, 27 year old Aussie native, making his fourth appearance?

  • And he went on a tear to finish his round here in the second round?

  • This is really a good young player.

  • And what a shot at 15.

  • I mean, a dart with a fairway wood.

  • That's incredible if you make fourth in his last start coming in here.

  • He made eagle there at 15, and then he went birdie birdie birdie to finish.

  • That's how he got to minus nine.

  • Yeah, five under on his last four holes, four under 68.

  • He's never missed the cut in his previous four appearances at the Masters, tied for fifth back in 2018.

  • And Andy.

  • This is how it stands right now.

  • But again.

  • 48 players still in the golf course, including two guys there at minus eight, and the Padecky Matsuyama and Jon Rahm, who couldn't push that lead in the double digits by the time they're finished with their second round.

  • Yeah, I think there's a particularly wrong because he's got 13 and 15 to play a decade.

  • Just finished making birdie on 15.

  • But I would not be a bit surprised of 10 unders.

  • The 36 hole lead.

  • 30.

  • Danny Willett, the 2016 Masters champion, 66 on his round today, this lowest score he's ever posted at the Masters.

  • Justin Rose there at minus seven.

  • Xander's softly minus six.

  • Paul Casey, who had the lead after the first round, plus one so far midway through his second, not a single birdie for Casey, has played some really nice golf has not been able to get one to go in, but again, several players on the golf course.

  • First thing in the morning and considering some of those guys are on the back nine and playing through Amen Corner and get a birdie opportunity at 13 and also 15.

  • When you get past there, we could see that lead go to minus 10, maybe even 11 Tiger Woods again, as we mentioned, minus four on his round, even for his round Excuse me, minus four for determined even on his round.

  • So far, thanks for watching ESPN on YouTube for live streaming sports and premium content.
