  • But my guys, we talk about legacy and everything else and greatness and all the things that you've been through.

  • Uh, take us Take me back to your childhood, Take me back to Brooklyn, growing up in Brooklyn, You know, that experience of what that looks like Really bad mother and father s, um What is my mother and father there in the I don't know.

  • What a school.

  • What do you call the sex industry?

  • So you can imagine what I seen, But it was normal, So I thought everything was cool.

  • Yeah, well, I think about the things you've had to go through just, uh, young childhood and going back to that and just the experiences that all the things that you probably saw an experience and how to do.

  • And, you know, I you know, I read that you have been arrested 38 times before.

  • You were 13.

  • Just the experience of that and having to deal with all that going through that and just just trying to survive.

  • You know, it's almost like it was almost like you in survival mode.

  • Is that right for that?

  • Mhm.

  • That's why I'm talking to you.

  • Because that's what I was designed for.

  • They say God, them give you too much that you can't bear.

  • And I guess I'm here.

  • Yeah, you definitely had to bear a lot.

  • And I think about to, you know, thinking about your your your sister.

  • You lost your sister, right?

  • When you're when you're pretty young.

  • Yeah.

  • When I was 21 23 23.

  • Forgive me.

  • Yeah.

  • Were you pretty close, Thio, your brother and sister.

  • Yeah.

  • Yeah, In a strange way, we're very close.

  • My sister was pretty much the boss after my mother died.

  • I have an older brother.

  • Who, uh, who's the surgeon?

  • The doctor, you know, And the system.

  • Even though my sister weren't, she wasn't active anything.

  • She was just the boss.

  • For some reason, she just took over after my mother died.

  • And so she didn't take care of herself.

  • And that came to her demise as well.

  • I believe you leave some cocaine was involved.

  • I was told that that's what I was told for my husband.

  • And I believe that had something to do with it.

  • A swell.

  • Well, when you think about just your whole family and just having a transition, you know, you know, growing up, being 13, being 14, 15, 16 year this amazing, you know, prodigy type fight or you just kind of learn.

  • Where did you start learning?

  • You know, boxing.

  • Where did that really transition to your change your whole life?

  • But so this is interesting.

  • I was in this way.

  • I'm this jail calls Parfitt.

  • And one day I came out, we came to the assembly room like the basketball court, the gym.

  • And we saw the movie the greatest.

  • And soon as the movie went on, the lights came on.

  • Mohammed Ali came out and then listen, I want to be like him.

  • And I went from there to another jail.

  • And it was a professional boxer that worked there.

  • And he told me how the box and then Oh, it's crazy.

  • I can tell you it's crazy.

  • Yeah.

  • What was his name?

  • The professional.

  • Boxing, Remember?

  • Yeah, Mado, uh, Then we saw Ali get beat by homes.

  • Then they told me after Wolf, Then they demand eventually.

  • Yeah, Or 14.

  • 14.

  • Well, I think what's amazing is how Aaliyah's inspired you.

  • You saw him.

  • I wanna be great like that.

  • I wanna be O e.

  • I just saw that man I never saw.

  • I wanna be like him.

  • Soon as I saw, it was beautiful.

  • Yeah.

  • So this was probably in, what?

  • Discipline taught me discipline.

  • Be able to do without anything.

  • Like how When you talk about discipline and teaching that and just a little simple, simple things of what customer was able to teach you and just, you know, you're seeing, you know, you're being so young and all the things you've had to go through in your young, younger life.

  • Just like you gotta be emotional list.

  • You know, we can't be slaves to our feelings.

  • And then we're Then our emotions are slave.

  • Tow our feelings, and that's just has been working life.

  • We have to be in control.

  • And I think about just all the things that you've had to go through.

  • And then I'm saying, Wow, I started out with a four round of Now I gotta eight round.
