  • What do you forsee your biggest challenge in just being going to that, you know, coming back to the states and and playing at the professional level in the N b A.

  • And, uh, something that can translate easy for you.

  • If you think in your eyes, I would say just biggest challenge for me.

  • I haven't played a game since, you know, January 12.

  • Um, you know, getting back into a rhythm off, playing basketball, playing five on five.

  • But I think something that'll translate easy with my speed, my athleticism.

  • Being able to, you know, make place for my teammates for myself.

  • Next up, we have Dan Waikiki.

  • They are j kind of two questions along those lines, not playing since January.

  • How have you been able to kind of replicate type of game feel and or and mawr just individual type workout.

  • And then secondly, um, going through the Australia process with the mellow what was that like?

  • And what's it been like?

  • Kind of going through this process, uh, with him as well.

  • Um, I think just for you know, me trying to replicate in game things.

  • You know, we have defense dummies out on the court.

  • So being able to, you know, read and react to different guys.

  • Um, you know that we're not playing fives or anything, but that's been a good thing for me.

  • And I think, you know, being over there with the mellow we both had different roles.

  • We both had different situations.

  • I felt like we both learned a lot over there and then, you know, going through this process him, we keep in touch.

  • And I think we're both the most ready prospects.

  • Um, next up, Iain Begg Lee.

  • And you still have a question.

  • Sorry, RJ.

  • Thank you for doing this, I Because if you were asked this already, But could you list the teams that you have worked out with in person thus far?

  • I've worked out for Remember, Doctor Detroit.

  • I've worked out for Brooklyn.

  • I've worked out for Orlando, Cleveland, Um, Washington, Boston, and then Denver.

  • And do you have anything else scheduled before the draft that you know, I don't think I'm not sure.

  • If I dio I think I would find out later today.

  • Honestly.

  • Appreciate it.

  • Thank you.

  • Good luck.

  • Okay.

  • Next question.

  • From Daniel Lerner.

  • RJ, how has your relationship with Mike Miller and Penny Hardaway kept on developing since they were recruiting you to Memphis.

  • And, um, what went into the decision?

  • I heard Thio possibly have Mike act as your agent.

  • Um, yeah, I don't know where the mic agent thing came from.

  • Me and him were actually talking about that the other day.

  • Um, that kind of just don't know how that kind of happened, but I think just the relationship between us, uh, just kind of stem from my recruiting.

  • They saw something in me a day.

  • Young age.

  • And, you know, I kept in touch with them.

  • They kept in touch with me, so I would definitely had a good report.

  • What specifically have they helped you work on leading up to this draft?

  • Mike?

  • Just shooting, being in rhythm, being a great shooter.

  • That's something I wanted to focus on when I came back.

  • And I would say, Penny, I'm learning how to be a pure point guard.

  • Learning how to make the right reads eso.

  • Those two things are have been very big for me last 67 months in this process.

  • Next question from Eric Walden, R J.

  • Thanks for taking the time uh, just wondering if you had interviewed with the Jazz and and if so how that went and how you would see yourself potentially fitting with that franchise.

  • I honestly don't think I interviewed with the J of you.

  • Um, I might have interviewed with them during my my combine interviews.

  • I'm not really sure.

  • And next question from Josh Coin by R.

  • J.

  • Thank you very much for your time today.

  • The question I have is a lot of guys say this obviously heading into the draft.

  • But you said it with quite some conviction that you think the most skilled prospect in the draft would you perceive it to be everyone sleeping on your review Ford outside the lottery?

  • Um, I would think so.

  • You know, coming out of high school on the top five, player, um, you know, in my class, um, you know, I feel like I went to a situation where, you know, I didn't get to score a lot of points and do the oohs and aahs and some other players got, but I think I learned a lot from my time over there, and I definitely think that's gonna further me, um, immediately in the Thank you very much.

  • All right.

  • Next question from Gary Washburn.

  • Hey, RJ, Um, can you talk about and discuss the journey over the last year that you've gone through?

  • Kind of going the unconventional route How it helped you matured.

  • You Did you get homesick?

  • What was it?

  • Did you you know, how did you get buy in Australia?

  • Did you watch American TV shows like, what did you do during that time?

  • To kind of make it a normal experience?

  • I think the biggest thing I did honestly, I watched a lot of TV play a lot of video games.

  • Um, you don't have my mom, my dad and my brother there, so it wasn't really homesick.

  • But I think just all in all, just trying to make it, you know, as a good experience off the court s so I could, you know, performance best on the court s.

  • So I definitely think just the whole time I was there, I was having fun and just kind of go out there.

  • The next question from Alex Schiffer.

  • Hey, RJ, you said you had met with worked out for the Nets.

  • I'm just curious if you were to go there.

  • Kevin Durant, Kyrie.

  • You know Caris, Levert.

  • You know, an upcoming star with the Hall of Fame coach Steve Nash.

  • So those guys just give me the wisdom, you know, every single day, just coming in, ready to work.

  • You know, I feel like that's a very good team.

  • Uh, very great team play for organization to play for, So I think that it would be good.

  • Um, next question from Ferdinand Rivera.

  • Hello.

  • Are they from Puerto Rico?

  • Um, you are weeks away from becoming a professional player.

  • What do you expect from this opportunity?

  • I think the biggest thing I expect just to go in there and work every day, I'm going there and prove myself again.

  • Um, you know, work my ranks up through the N b.

  • A.

  • And, you know, have a great team, great system that I could thrive in.

  • You get projected number 16 in the draft.

  • Poland on that big.

  • How well you fit with Damien Lillard and C J McCollum.

  • Um, just to great guards playing off those guys.

  • I feel like, you know, they're too great scoring guards and come in with my athletic speed and defense of potential.

  • Um, and, you know, playoff those guys.

  • All right, next question from Omari Sankofa.

  • Hey, RJ, How's it going?

  • Doing good.

  • I'm just curious.

  • In the last two months since we last talked to you, Just how have you spent that time?

  • Just from a draft preparation standpoint.

  • You tackled anything new?

  • Just what is your overall focus back?

  • I think my overall focus every day is getting better.

  • I'm working out with Mike working out with Penny, working out my training.

  • Tyler roof.

  • You know, this draft process gonna come quick.

  • And I think you know, the conversation went well, um, you know, worked out for them.

  • Um, you know, I felt like, you know, the Celtics is a great team reorganization.

  • Okay, next question from Mark Nahr nor Gucci.

  • Two things.

  • One is Have you had any contact with the 70 Sixers and do you?

  • Um, in the MBA?

  • I haven't We're definitely invitations, and I haven't I haven't spoken to them, But now I think I actually have spoken to them on a zoom call.

  • Actually, I'm really common process, but I think the biggest thing for may, I feel like I can guard, you know, positions one through three.

  • So if I need to be a 12 or three, uh, anytime I could fulfill those roles, Okay.

  • Thank you.

  • Um, next question from since you're here, Caroline on nice.

  • He said that one more time.

  • Well, do you believe will be your benefit and you're handcuffed Coming for another league?

  • I think my benefit basically is, you know, being a player that was already played against pros, playing against older guys playing with, you know, former n b A.

  • Guys.

  • So I think that's my benefit.

  • I think my handicap.

  • Honestly, it's just my age, 19 years old.

  • I feel like, you know, um, me coming in the n b a young player, Um, it's not really a handicap.
